Sarah: I’m here with Esther Anderson, how will you combat the speed and power of De Ravin tonight?

Esther: She has been exposed the last two times in. Her own stable mate exposed her by stunning her early and then Heidi Range destroyed her early. So that’s the plan.

Sarah: Fighting words from Esther Anderson there as I make my way over to Emilie. Emilie De Ravin, it’s no secret you’re coming off two brutal KO losses, what are you going to do differently tonight?

Emilie: The only mistake I have made is to not be prepared. I wasn’t prepared for Em’s early power punching and I was not prepared for Heidi’s speed. We know Esther fairly well; I won’t fall for that tonight.

Round 1

De Ravin using the ring, drawing Anderson towards her as Anderson extends the jab at her face but keeps missing. De Ravin cleverly ducking the Anderson jabs and hooking the belly. Mid-way through some of those body shots hurt Anderson and has her backing up now. Anderson switching to jabs at the tummy and then hooking up top. De Ravin punching the head back with two solid jabs, Anderson answering with one of her own and both girls go toe to toe throughout the last minute. Close exchanges of hooks to the body and short sharp uppercuts all the way to the bell.

Kylie: Very close round that one Kristy

Kristy: I thought De Ravin started well; well anything has to be better than her last round against Range. Anderson responded well but perhaps the early part of the round gets it for Emilie.

Round 2

Both girls resting up still after that last minute. Anderson trying to get speedy jabs through the cautious guard of De Ravin who is sizing up Anderson with similar stuff. Circling jabbing, retreating, circling jabbing retreat. Almost half way through and it’s more like a ring a ring a rosy than a boxing match. More of the same through the final minute as the bell ends a very uneventful round.

Kristy: Very interesting round that one. Anderson hasn’t been able to live up to her comments as De Ravin defends tightly and I have got to give it to De Ravin, she talks the talk and walks the walk.

Kylie: I agree Kristy, she has combatted the early advances and she has controlled the tempo so far. Still a long way to go though but she has an early lead.

Round 3

The fans getting restless as it’s more of the same through the first minute. Frustration setting in mid-way through as both girls jabs get a little stiffer and they really try and break through each other’s guards. It’s still all leather on forearms. Anderson making better of the situation driving one straight through the gloves and De Ravin backs away. Anderson sees her opportunity and pounces, driving two hard hooks into De Ravin's ribs and then placing the RIGHT UPPERCUT perfectly on the chin, DE RAVIN HURT, takes a barrage of body blows before Anderson swipes a hook across the jaw and De Ravin just stays on wobbly legs at the bell. “The girl has no chin!” shouts Anderson as De Ravin stumbles to her corner.

Kylie: Wow De Ravin definitely struggling with the power of Andersons jab there. It appears that once a hard punch is landed she just goes to pieces.

Kristy: This may sound strange but it is a good problem to have, at least you know you have to work on your chin! …..ahaha

Kylie: Well the Downunder corner is very concerned for De Ravin at the moment as Anderson has once again exposed her.

Round 4

De Ravin slow out as Anderson leads with the jab again and has her on the back foot. De Ravin retreat as Anderson gets the jab through twice and corners her. Anderson working the body, De Ravin taking shots to the ribs but looks ok. She spins out of trouble and releases a swiping hook to Anderson’s temple. Anderson careful now as De Ravin gets back to that defensive position. Anderson resets through the final minute and gets that jab through again. De Ravin's head pummeled back and forth, her guard high as she backs into the corner and Anderson treats herself to bare torso blasting hooks into her washboard stomach, but De Ravin is crumbling, HUGE UPPERCUT Anderson, picks De Ravin's head up and to the right slightly for the RIGHT HOOK to the jaw and DOWN GOES DE RAVIN! Leaning sideways then falling rigid to the canvas and bouncing hard. The ref begins the count as Anderson celebrates in her corner but the celebrations end too soon as De Ravin is bravely on her knees at 6 and to her feet at 8. On comes Anderson as De Ravin covers up in the corner and takes an all-out assault to the bell. “Your mine De Ravin, all min!” yells Anderson as De Ravin sits in the corner.

Kristy: Big round there from Anderson. This is looking all too similar to De Ravin's loss to Browning.

Kylie: Except that one ended in the 4th and De Ravin is bravely hanging on. Look if you take away the end of the 3rd and the end of the 4th, she is in the fight.

Kristy: yeah but if she keeps getting knocked down it will end very quickly.

Round 5

De Ravin bruised and battered in contrast to the untouched Anderson. De Ravin tired, hurt, Anderson in her face with jab again but patient, waiting for the openings. Working the body, then hooking up top but De Ravin's guard is solid. Anderson controlling the exchanges mid-way through, slipping anything De Ravin throws at her and countering with scoring shots. Anderson upping the tempo late in the round connecting with several hard body shots and a couple of pretty little uppercuts. At the bell, De Ravin looks pleased to have made it through the round.

Kylie: Anderson couldn’t get through that round. This is what I was referring to. De Ravin has defended well but just got caught twice and that’s all it takes to knock someone down.

Kristy: Your right, but Anderson was still totally in control there and she is well ahead in the fight. It’s going to take something special from De Ravin to win this.

Kylie: There’s a long way to go Hinzy, we are only half way.

Round 6

Back to where we started in the second. Anderson looks to have put the gloves away, hoping for De Ravin to throw some punches. De Ravin has the guard up high, waiting for the opportunity to jab. They size each other up, wary jabs at each other’s gloves. Mid-way through, De Ravin puts a combination together, two jabs and an uppercut, the latter clipping Andersons chin, Anderson backs away and De Ravin lurches forward with CRUNCHING RIGHT HOOK to the ribs, Anderson arches left wincing as De Ravin rips a LEFT HOOK to the ribs and Anderson stumbles to the ropes. De Ravin in low, working the torso as Anderson drops her guard to stop the barrage, LEFT UPPERCUT DE RAVIN, puts Andersons head over the top rope, the ref moves in close, De Ravin hammers a left and right hook to the ribs again, left uppercut, RIGHT HOOK EMILIE DE RAVIN! Anderson's neck snaps left, arms fall to her side as she tilts forward and lands flat on her face. The ref doesn’t even count. It’s over! KO6 Emilie De Ravin!

Emilie: Jam that in your pipe and smoke it you skinny little tramp! Who has no chin now Esther!

Kristy: Wow what a knockout by Emilie De Ravin. She absolutely smoked Anderson. You’ve gotta give it all to De Ravin, even I need to swallow my words. She actually set that fight up brilliantly. Lulling Esther into a false sense of security and then destroying her in a minute and a half of boxing.

Kylie: Couldn’t have put it better myself Hinzy. It’s this little combination and the uppercut that clips the chin right there….how is that for being exposed. The clippiest of uppercuts…..

Kristy: Clippiest? Is that even a word?

Kylie: It is now Hinzy….and Esther was out of there and De Ravin new at exactly that point that the fight was hers. Look at the body language change as she then sets up the knockout. Brilliant.

Sarah: I’ve got the winner here, Emilie De Ravin, well done.

Emilie: Yeah thanks Sarah, the foundations of the fight were always there but things went a bit pair shaped when she knocked me down in the 4th. We thought we could just defend gallantly and wait for her to get frustrated and it happened.

Sarah: Great knockout at the end there.

Emilie: She said I had no chin...I’m still standing and I think I only hit her chin once…go figure.

Sarah: Back you Kylz.
