Sarah: This is one of the most anticipated none title fights of the evening. Krystal is a legend of the AWUBA, a Hall of Famer with belts across 3 divisions and is ranked been Emily Scott as the all-time greatest Super Feather. Tabrett doesn’t have the colourful history but she has won the AWUBA Superfeather title 15 times and has taken from Krystal 5 times. Krystal coming off that impressive BBU debut TKO7 over Karolina Kurkova. Tabrett unsuccessful in her last 3.

Tabrett first of all, not a good lead up to this tonight.

Tabrett: You love making a comment a question don’t you.

Sarah: That’s my edge.

Tabrett: Yeah well your last two fights weren’t that good either. I seem to recall you getting knocked out by Melanie Vallejo! And who did you get your ACB contract with? Oh that’s right, no one wanted you!

Sarah: Ehem, Krystal, you were brilliant over in Cardiff last week. This should go much the same way tonight.

Krystal: I’m with Tabrett, that’s not a question, that’s your opinion. I’m expecting nothing more than a tough fight against Tabrett tonight. She’s experienced, she’s a former champion, she’s got that martial arts back ground, so I’m not going to take her for granted.

Sarah: Yeah well I hope you knock her the…..(the coverage breaks to the start of the fight)

Round 1

Good start for Bethell, banging in a couple of hard jabs, connects with a nice swiping hook to the cheek and lands a neat right on Forscutt's chin. Forscutt backing up, Bethell letting her go, holding ground mid-ring, stepping to now as Forscutt waits, Bethell widens her stance a little and pounds a couple of left and rights at Forscutt’s torso, her jugs bouncing up and down. Bethell continuing to dominate, sends a left and right hook that whacks against her guard, another left and right bang into Forscutt’s face sending it this way and that. Bell to bell by Bethell, not a lot of power but enough to keep Forscutt on the back foot, offering little in return. Forscutt a little red faced at the bell.

Kristy: Good round by Tabby. She controlled that from the beginning. Forscutt using that round to see what Tab had I think.

Kylz: Tabby? Sounds like a cat? You know what I liked about this. Tabrett is a former dancer and you could see that in her footwork. Like Penny Higgs, these former dancers have fantastic footwork.

Kristy: She was a Cronulla Sharks cheerleader wasn’t she?

Kylz: Yeah, then she went into acting and picked up a role in Legend of the Seeker. She gets a lot of her boxing ability from good friend Bridget Regan. Anyway, I digress.

Round 2

Krystal with some fancy footwork of her own, dancing in, popping Bethell right between the eyes with a stiff right hand, Bethell cross eyed for a moment, head rest in place as Forscutt just hammers away at her head. Left jabs, pop, pop, pop, then ducking a wild right hand and landing a CRUNCHING RIGHT UPPERCUT on Bethell’s chin, she just picks her up and THRASHES A LEFT HOOK across Bethell's face and she slips/stumbles backwards. Forscutt on top of her at the ropes, Bethell hunched over, covered up, Forscutt patient, digging hooks into the ribs, banging in shots at the guard, Bethell just swiveling, taking the shots on protected parts, Forscutt backs off, Bethell stepping left right hand covering her face, Forscutt fakes the right and FIRES THE LEFT CROSS at her open cheek, right knee buckles, another hard LEFT CROSS into the face and Bethell is blinking and shaking her head, Forscutt just treating herself to the open torso, clips the RIGHT UPPERCUT on the chin, LEFT HOOK to the jaw, the ref in close as Bethell leans hard on the ropes, helmet like guard, Forscutt a flurry of 8-10 on Bethell’s six pack as she slides down the ropes but there’s the bell.

Kristy: Is that a knockdown Kylz? I mean she didn’t go all the way down, she is kind of sitting on the middle rope there.

Kylie: I don’t think so Hinzy but it wouldn’t matter anyway, you’ve gotta give that round and then some to Krystal. She tore Tabrett a new one just then. My predictions have been terrible all night but I would almost call it.

Kristy: Noooo, way too early for that. Bethell not looking good in the corner, all battered, a little swelling, red faced, sucking hard.

Kylie: Krystal knows something we don’t Hinzy, I’m calling it.

Round 3

Bethell very wary, highly protective, using that brilliant footwork to keep on her toes, dancing away from Forscutt, using Gruzzy’s outside formula but can’t land anything telling. Forscutt applying the jab where she can be Bethell is out of reach. Mid-way through, Bethell touches Forscutt up with the jab from the outside, Forscutt takes it all on the chin twice, now she’s backing off wary. Bethell giving her ground to see if she will approach. She doesn’t, Bethell stepping to with that wide stance, ducking low, swiping at the body, oh connects with a solid hook to the left jug, Forscutt wincing, Bethell backs her up with two solid jabs. Forscutt rubbing the boob, Bethell lands another one two to the face, scoring well. Forscutt finds herself on the ropes, using them well to bounce and maneuver away from the oncoming punches and there’s the bell.

Kristy: Nothing more than a good scoring round for Tabby there. I like the way she gives space to Krystal. It’s keeping her thinking. Krystal maybe wondering if she is not afraid to get hit and hasn’t been taking the offer.

Kylie: Yeah a I find that really interesting. It probably comes from the martial arts background as you tend to have more space between you and your opponent. She is so quick on her feet that she can then use that space.

Round 4

Krystal invited in and this time accepts, negotiating the Bethell jab as it wizzes passed her right ear and she unleashes a MIGHTY LEFT UPPERCUT that smacks under Bethell's chin, she might go down here! Legs just turn to jelly as she backpedals to the ropes, Forscutt working in low, pounding soft flesh with blistering hooks to the belly. Bethell leaning in, just taking an assault to her mid-section, knees buckling inwards as she falls against Forscutt, grabbing on for grim death. The ref forces them apart, Bethell trying to dance away along the ropes but Forscutt is on her. Bethell all wide eyed, shuffling her jaw left and right, helmet like guard, almost running backwards as Forscutt is like a pitbull, chasing her down and OH WALKS INTO A PARALYSING LEFT JAB! Bethell connecting on the temple, Forscutt’s right side rigid, MENACING LEFT HOOK on the cheek and DOWN GOES FORSCUTT! Spun off her feet, pirouette to the floor and Forscutt is in trouble. Very slow to her hands and nice and finally up at 8. Bethell leaning in her corner, arms over the top ropes, sucking in the big wins and looking worse for wear at the bell.

Kristy: If you want a lesson in what not to do, don’t track down your opponent with your guard down near your waist, especially when she is Tabrett Bethell. That left jab sent shockwaves through this arena. Krystal just froze rigid and it is beyond me how she got up from that hook to the cheek.

Kylie: We saw a similar thing happen to Em Browning earlier in the night. But this was worse I thought. I’ll tell you what, that is a different Krystal Forscutt sitting in that corner to the one we saw a week ago and also to the one we saw at the end of the second round. A) she is on a another planet still and B) she doesn’t want any more of this. I’m calling it.

Kristy: YOU SAID KRYSTAL WAS GOING TO END IT!

Round 5

HERE COMES TABRETT BETHELL! She sprints across the ring to Forscutt who is slap stepping slowly from her corner. Bethell bangs a jab straight through the guard, head snap back and forth, Krystal bloodied, another jab on the money, she tries to step left but takes a RIGHT HOOK to the chin followed by a SWIPING LEFT HOOK to the jaw and falls against the ropes, sliding down and DOWN GOES FORSCUTT AGAIN! Staring straight at the crowd, who urge her to stay down, she’s clawing her way back up the ropes and on her feet at 7. Bethell patient, waits for the call and ON SHE COMES, body shots, bang, bang, bang, Forscutt heaving, takes some more, bang, bang, bang, Bethell just tearing her apart, the ref in close watching, Bethell digging in, OH FORSCUTT returns fire now, swinging wildly and the retreating Bethell, everything misses, she nearly swings herself of her own feet. Slap stepping forward again, Bethell dancing left and right from the hip, sizing her up, Forscutt lets fly with a shabby right hook, Bethell leans back and comes forward with a CRASHING LEFT HOOK to Forscutt right eyebrow AND DOWN GOES FORSCUTT AGAIN! The bell perhaps saving her.

Kristy: Oh she is just destroying Krystal now, this is torture to watch. I mean I know it is good but seeing someone shredded apart like this is really painful.

Kylie: I’m just watching YassieD, she’s come down from the box and she is gesturing for Sonia and Tiff to throw the towel in but Forscutt is up off the stool and pushing everyone off.

Kristy: Gutsy.

Kylie: Stupid.

Round 6

Forscutt bravely to mid-ring, guard at the ready, but Bethell just pounds her guard with a CLUBBING RIGHT HOOK, it blasts Forscutt’s gloves downward and opens her up for a DRIVING LEFT STRAIGHT JAB in the nose, Forscutt’s head snaps backward, guard at her chest, head bobbing in place for a THRASHING LEFT AND RIGHT HOOK and she is sent crashing straight onto her back, head bouncing to rest. The ref doesn’t even count, it’s over! KO6 Tabrett Bethell in scintillating fashion!

Kristy: My god. Ugliest knockdown of the night. Tabrett taking down the girl touted by some of the BBU as the surprise packet of that event. Well that puts a giant target on Tabrett’s head in my eyes.

Kylie: We might actually skip the interviews mid-ring I believe because the stretcher is coming to the ring here. Yep, Sarah has Tabrett ringside.

Sarah: Tabrett, that was…….

Tabrett snatches the mic away from Sarah.

Tabrett: Do you want some of that? There’s a question. Do ya, huh?

Sarah: Uh…well

Tabrett: I knocked her the (beep) out and I am going to find out how I can get you in the ring and I am going to do the same thing to you.

Sarah: A very angry Tabrett Bethell there, back to you guys
