Sarah: The draw for this fight could not have been better. The two trainers from Australia’s Biggest Loser going head to head in the first of our Welterweight bouts. Michelle Bridges held the AWUBA Welterweight title for 6 successful defenses and goes down in history as the 3rd greatest AWUBA fighter of all time. Her Hall of Fame status and all of her 75 titles coming quicker than anything other fighter. Tiff has won 22 welter titles herself but is better known as a 5th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. They have gone head to head many times and have an even record to date.

Tiffiny, it’s always an enormous task stepping into the ring with Michelle but you have a good record against her, what is the plan tonight?

Tiffiny: Stay out of the way of her jab for starters, she has so much power. I’ll just use my speed and if all else fails I’ll just start scoring with take downs!

Sarah: So a pretty relaxed and humorous way of looking at things from Tiff there, and Michelle, fair out you have the most amazing body I have ever seen!

Michelle: Thank you Sarah but you don’t look too bad yourself.

Sarah: Oh thank you. We just heard a pretty lighthearted Tiff Hall there, any comments yourself?

Michelle: I’m chasing a title. Tiff’s in the way of that, as are the likes of Sarah Murdoch, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Erika Heynatz, even my own trainer, Elle MacPherson. Tiff has a way of finding the fun side in every situation but when it comes to fight night, I’m serious and I’ll hurt her if her head is not in the right place.

Sarah: Well there you have it girls, two different ends of the spectrum but I am sure we’ll see a tough fight.

Round 1

Bridges straight into it. Jab jab jabbing. Fast, stretching, solid punches just smacking into Hall’s face, She’s backing her up with every blow. Hall on quick feet, skipping away but Bridges just closes in, and stretches that left jab off the shoulder. Hall lumping up already, can’t dodge the punches. Bridges ups the tempo in the second minute, following the left jab with right, one-two’s now as Halls head bounces around, she’s backed into the ropes, Bridges pumping body blows into Halls abs, lifting her off her feet with each blow, oh the power from Bridges, Hall sucking in the big ones, takes a MONSTROUS RIGHT HOOK to the cheek and she’s sent sideways to the neutral corner. Shakes her head as Bridges approaches and she runs from the corner. Bridges palms out to her side motion for some effort from Hall. She wants nothing of it. Bridges chasing her but takes a jab to the face, and another, Bridges a little careless, rethinks her position and backs off a step. Hall keeping the distance to the bell.

Kristy: I am so glad I never have to get in the ring with Michelle Bridges ever again. Her jab is like getting swatted with a packet of flour. Its credit to Tiff Hall that she got off the ropes there otherwise we may have seen another woman carried out of here on a stretcher.

Kylie: Yeah look I wouldn’t want to say too much too early but that was just vintage Michelle Bridges. She is on her game tonight and I am really looking forward to seeing more if that from her.

Round 2

Bridges just controlling the round from bell to bell. Not an overly dominant performance but just constantly putting the left jab in the face of Tiff Hall. Hall gallant, fighting back with her own brand of fast footwork, often getting in and under the jab for a quick body onslaught then retreating before she cops too much more leather to the face. Reddened face, lumping up around the eyes, just copping punch after punch to the head. But managing to stay in the fight, on solid legs, and making Bridges work for the openings. But Bridges just continues to bang her head back, those muscly arms just working like a spring off the shoulder, stretching out, banging the head back, then resting back in a tight guard. Bell to bell control from Michelle Bridges.

Kylie: Need we even comment. Tiff hall is certainly still in the fight but how much of that can she really take.

Kristy: It’s the end of the second and one fighters face is as pretty as ever, fresh as a daisy, the other looks like she’s done 6 or 7 rounds.

Round 3

Bridges dominating. Almost robotic like. That left jab just keeps on hitting the target, Hall cut under her right eye, split lip, her head snapped back and forth early. She’s wearing that high guard now, on her bike, pedaling highway, taking leather to gloves. Bridges just switches to the body and now Hall is taking punishment to her mid-section. Bridges relentless, reefing shots into her rock hard abs, Hall lifted off her feet again. Bridges clubbing hooks at her head, belts her opponent into the corner, oh THE RIGHT UPPERCUT takes all of Hall chins but she’s on her feet, mouth agape. Bridges pounding away at the torso again. Just bending the knees and twisting into those lethal shots, Hall weak at the knees, LEFT HOOK RIGHT HOOK to the head and DOWN GOES HALL! Straight to her knees and falls forward flat on her face. The ref starts the count but there is no sign of any movement for Hall and it’s over! KO3 Michelle Bridges.

Kylie: Holy shit! What an impressive performance there from Michelle Bridges. Tiffiny Hall rising at what would have been 9 or 10 but it doesn’t matter the Ref had called it.

Kristy: I don’t think people realise how big that win is for Michelle. Tiffiny is no slouch in the ring but that was just Michelle Bridges at her powerful best. Amazing. Up to you Sarah.

Sarah: I’m breaking the trend here and having a quick chat to Tiffiny Hall first. She’s a bit of a mess but Tiff, you met your match tonight.

Tiffiny: Pfff, what I can say, nothing really. If she is not the ACB and BBU Welterweight Champion soon then I’d be giving it away if I was her. She was too good.

Sarah: Michelle, come in here. That…was…impressive.

Michelle: I said I would hurt her and that is what I did. I have the strongest punch in the business and if you get in the way of it too often then you’re going to get knocked down. Forget the others, bring on Erika and Elle. I’m more than ready.

Sarah: A big challenge there from Michelle Bridges but I think she has proven herself worthy after that performance.
