Before; Held on the undercard of Milano/Fishel--the winner of Pfeiffer/Lane expected to challenge Shania Twain for her Junior Bantam title. Not much to choose between these women, boith are skilled, quick-fisted fighters with no power, and fans expect an exciting high contact bout. Lane in red string bikini top, black nylon shorts, Michelle in black string bikini top, black nylon shorts, Small workout gloves for both women.

During R1: Girls get down to hooking each other with catspaw blows, and a double left on the chin has Diane stumbling out of the gate. Crashing forward, Lane is belted as Michelle strains her slender body for the knockout, grimacing as she rips punches against Diane’s head and midsection, Lane turns it around midway through with a wide right hand on the side of the head that lifts Michelle’s lead leg off the canvas. Now Lane gets in her licks, bobbing in front of Michelle and coming up with meteoric hooks on the blonde’s delicate chin to back Michelle to the ropes and leave her glassy-eyed, In the final minute, Pfeiffer, butt on the ropes, puts together shoe shining combinations across Diane’s breasts and body to bring the crowd to its feet. Pfeiffer getting the nod as the fans roar, girls exchanging blows at the bell.

R2: Both girls a little shaky-legged coming out for the second, setting a blistering pace in the first Lane opens with a scorching overhand right, then tears into Michelle’s body with biting left hooks. Pfeiffer in trouble, head down, covering up and she takes a knee with tears brimming. Michelle beats the count, but Lane too strong the rest of the way, forcing Michelle back with stiff jabs from an extended left, and crossing mercilessly to the blonde’s pouting mouth with the right hand. Michelle staggered repeatedly as she fight off the ropes, and Lane in control on the cards.

R3: Masterful boxing round from Michelle P.  Using exquisite upper body movement, she makes Diane miss over the top, and comes back with short, straight lefts and rights to pile up points on the brunette. In the final minute, Michelle as Diane on a string, turning on the brunette, walking her into lead rights, and a bang bang left/right combination spins Lane on her heel at the bell.

R4: Michelle continues to school Diane, getting off first and last, using a slick lead right to Lane’s mouth to set up double straight left hands, then turning the brunette to re-start the sequence. Lane stunned midway through by the left hook again. She’s getting hurt at least once every couple of minutes.

R5,6,7,8: Lane falls into the role of pursuer, trying to cut off the ring, but Pfeiffer has the initiative, Pfeiffer’s small fists dance across Lane’s toned midsection, pelt the brunette’s shoulders and tag her chin at will. Di taking the punches well, but Michelle dictating each and every round, stepping in and out, turning Lane with a hand at the brunette’s hip or arm and simply chipping away at the discouraged Lane. Pfeiffer wining every round, begins to coast as she has it locked up,

R9: Diane working a stiff jab off Michelle’s mouth, disrupts Pfeiffer’s timing and the right cross nearly disrupts her consciousness midway through, banging back Michelle’s head, lane has her girl hurt, and she works away inside with biting lefts and rights to the torso as Michelle folds forward. Pfeiffer on the verge of a stoppage, reeling around the ring, still manages to escape as Diane chases her with running punches. Pfeiffer clinching, holding and hitting down the stretch escapes as Lane bitterly complains to the ref.

R10: Diane with a murderous spurt to Michelle’s midriff has the blonde cringing in pain as lefts and right spank off her taut belly. Lane gouging up top with hooks, but can’t break down Michelle’s tight guard, and by the final minute, Diane is punched out. Pfeiffer, moves iside, pushing Diane’s exhausted arms out of the way and digs to the brunettes stomach with short, rising right hands while clinching with the left. Bell sounds and exhausted warriors separate with open mouths and hollow eyes. Decision comes back a heartbreaker for Lane: UD Michelle Pfeiffer.

After; After flooring Michelle in the second, lane became a stalking puncher and promptly let herself get outboxed over the middle rounds to wind up on the short end of the decision. Bad tactics, not bad fighting let lane down, as the classy blonde announced her challenge to twain in the ring after the fight.
