Packard in tough, but coming off a rousing win over Lexa Doig, another up and coming fly thought to be too strong for Kelly. "Lexa thought she'd walk all over me and Jaime does too," says Packard, "but I've got the answers for all these punks and pretenders. I'm the uncrowned queen at 110 and it's about time these girls starting recognizing that." Pressly making raspberry noises at Kelly's bravado, calmly predicting a knockout of the former champ. "Packard's old, old news. She hasn't been much since Baywatch, and she was overated back then too. She'll try and box me and when that doesn't work, she'll try to fight me and it'll be good night Kelly. Two, three rounds tops - I'll catch her and cave her in by then." Silver bikini James, black bikini Kelly.

Rd 1: Huh? Packard going body on Jaime with luscious swinging lefts and rights? Kelly just a-lashing away to the ribs and flanks, catching Jaime behind the elbows, sweet above the hips and shaking the Krusher blonde up early. Packard putting punches together pretty - right hand at her cheek as she leans in close and puts the hook into Jaime's pelvis, then curls the left uppercut in tight. Pressly staggering under the assault - psychological as much as physical shock at the realization that Packard is going right at her. Round finishes up in the ropes - Packard actually batting away to the body, then using an extended left elbow to prop Pressly up. Jaime rattled, covered up, letting Kelly's fists pik-pak away up and down the flanks at the bell. PACKARD WITH THE CHEAP ELBOW! Kelly sends the classic flyweight calling card after the break - catching a still-reeling PRessly with the elbow tip deep to gut - only thing ref catches is Jaime steadying herself against the ropes, lips pursed with hurt.

Rd 2: Packard determined to brawl - swinging slender-armed licks to the body and ribs of Pressly - but Jaime's starting to get her bearings. Pressly standing her ground now, elbows in, nice and compact, bending and slipping with punches, then licking back snatching hooks to the belly to even up the exchanges. Final minute, it's Pressly lathering a doubled up hook body and jaw on Packard - Kelly backs up and she's vulnerable to piercing right crosses as Jaime pushes in and down off the back foot.

Rd 3: Kelly making a statement, brawling her little heart out - crowd roaring as Packard engages her formidable opponent toe to toe all around the ring. Pressly in denial, getting beaten to punches, covering up and laying over on her right side...and Kelly keeps tagging her! Kel elbows in, bending and tilting her torso to get leverage, brisk lefts and rights to the body, dropping jabs and shooting straight rights - just a constant raindrop bombardment. Pressly backing up, right hand around her chin, left across her gut - she's twisting on her torso, trying to slip and counter - but Kelly's volume too high, Jaime can't pull the trigger. Another surprising Packard round - and more bravado from Kelly - getting in Jaime's face and taunting - earning a cranky push from Pressly. (Slow-mo during the break shows a nice scrubbing series of one-twos from Packard, chiselling away on Pressly's face as Jaime leans back into the ropes with a befuddled look).

Rd 4: Jaime abandoning the timing attack - she wades in, Kelly wades in and it's slender-limbed blonde donnybrook midring. Gorgeous rip-digs amidships as girls plant in wide stances, right hands tight to cheeks, left hands thumping away on taut breadbaskets. Hooks to body set up chopping rights to the face and raking hooks across breasts - ebb and flow back and forth across the center of the ring as girls take turns surging and retreating. Down the stretch, Jaime with that limber left hand slashes at Kelly's flank behind the elbow, hooks her ear and drops a deadly straight right hand to the chin DROPPING KELLY AT THE ROPES! Packard swooning - on her back - she struggles to grab the bottom strand but it's OVER! Furious, extended exchanges end in stunning KO4 Pressly.

After: Pressly stomping out the uprising with heartless Krusher jackboots - finally getting to Kelly with a devastating 3 punch combo to end Packard's night. Jaime all smiles - blowing the doors off Kelly a feather in any flyweight's cap, but Packard cooperating a little even if she did put Jaime off balance with slugging tactics early. "I didn't expect that," Jaime admits of her opponent's offensive fireworks, "especially to the body. We had to adjust on the fly - I mean, Janet and I worked all camp on cutting off the ring and just trying to make contact with an elusive opponent. I never expected Kelly to stand and deliver with me." Packard chagrined - early Pearl Harbour success, but she's unable to capitalize as Pressly rides out the storm, overhauls her wiry foe.
