Friends and associates warning Lohan off this fight only makes her more adamant: "I want Jaime," Lohan asserts, grinning at the podium. "Yes, you heard right. When the idea of Pressly came up - I pounced all over it. I was all 'whenever, wherever' you know? Because she's the best. I might get my ass kicked - but I've had it kicked before, but you know what…I'm gonna land punches on Jaime too. Then we'll see what happens. I've seen Pressly hurt and beaten - she's human. I don't give a crap about my record or whatever - that's for you guys (the media). All fighters care about is who did you fight and how did you look? Well I'm fighting Jaime Pressly and I'm going right at her without hesitation - that's who and how."

Pressly smirking her side of the dais: she's got 10 pounds of hard, lean, fast-twitch muscle on Lilo at least - she's the bantam Cadillac and she's the favourite coming in. "Look - she's a scrapper," Pressly allows. "Lindsay's a little badass - everyone knows that. But she's in way over her head against me. I need to know that the officials are going to be ready to step in, because this is a situation where Lindsay could be seriously hurt. Please guys, don't let me beat on this kid all night long. When you see her lolling helpless on the ropes, unable to defend herself - do the right thing. Lindsay's still got a hell of a career in front of her: don't let this little mistake be the end of it."

Pressly in stars and stripes DOA bikini, small red/white/blue striped work out gloves. Lohan in her jaunty nauticals: navy bikini top with big brass ring betwixt jug; sporty white bottoms with diagonal navy bars and baby blue anchors; small white work out gloves with the same baby blue anchors on 'em; long blonde hair tied back.

Rd 1: HARD, crisp punching out of wide boxing stances - both girls pitchin' for keeps early. Jaime: right hand up, palm out, left hand low - she's poised on balls of her feet, ready to pounce forward with chopping rights or slide-step backward with rising, whip-clout hooks. Lohan wisely not trying to match sheer quicks with Pressly: Lilo dukes up, elbows in, using her jab to set up sharp right hands through the middle. Both women tagged hard on pretty faces - small gloves landing with cruel cracking noises. Lilo's jab a real irritant to Jaime - allowing Lohan to recover balance and keep the initiative. Final moments see Pressly retreat to ropes, slipping punches: while she's covered up face-in-gloves - Lohan steps close, cranks a series of batting, straight-arm hooks up into toned blonde breadbasket to take the round.

Rd 2: Same again. Lilo not backing down or showing any trace of respect - she coming in off the jab and looking to get Jaime out of there. Lindsay showing no deference to arguably the best abs in the bantam division - crouching in close on her front (left) foot and gouging in snappy hooks off Jaime's midsection. Pressly fighting brilliantly in retreat, swatting that cat-quick left hook against Lilo's ear, dropping in the right hand, bounding off to the right. Lindsay getting drilled, but being very brave - standing her ground despite absorbing some thrilling showboat shots throughout the round. Down the stretch, Jaime feints Lindsay out of her socks, then darts in a murderous lead right to mouth: THAT'S got Lohan wobbly butt at last. Lindsay hurt, covers up stricken: Jaime squares away, tucks into flat breadbasket with a brisk, batting shellack of lefts and rights, finishing up with a vicious, clawing hook across Lohan's rack at the bell. Big grin JP - probably just earned a little jug-bounty with that touch.

Rd 3: Jaime feints, comes with the right: Lohan's head kicks back, hands down, knees a-knockin'. Pressly grinning, hopping 'round Lohan's left flank, nailing Lilo hooks as she turns groggy: LIndsay soaking up pinpoint, drilling shots as Jaime gets all whippy armed and limber here. Jaime light on her feet, showing Lilo wondrous leg: Lohan covering up fists at temples, teeth gritted tight. Middle minute sees Lohan stabilize: good stiff jab helping to channel Pressly, controlling the blitz somewhat; setting up Lohan's straight, clanging right to Jaime's face. Down the stretch, Jaime eats a right, backs up startled - Lohan steps-with and hooks - UNHINGING JAIME'S LEGS! Kruzher vixen buckles, but stays upright - reeling backwards to ropes for support. Lindsay on the pounce - forward in her crouch, planting on her front foot - OH she rips rising hooks to Jaime's body, beating the breath from her blonde. Lohan swings her right (back) leg over to her left, pivoting to get an angle for swinging right hands to Jaime's besieged abdominals, then swings the right leg back to the right so she can crank those hooks. Pressly butt in ropes, momentarily paralyzed: she's gritting her teeth, sponging up furious flyweight leather as Lohan roars back, takes a hotly contested third.

Rd 4: Pressly scowling, circling - her legs command midring as Lilo turns in her crouch, frowning back. Pressly feinting, then coming with sudden lead rights - bouncing back and to her right with the whipping, swatting hook. It's Jaime at her very best - coming in from angles, getting off hot, darting away before Lohan can even think of answering. Lindsay defending well - blocking about half the punches - but Pressly's scoring sharp, hard punches with either hand, scuffing the kid up. Midway through the round - Jaime's attacking to the body - digging her hook up into Lohan's waist, looking for left uppercuts to sternum. As Lindsay loosens, Jaime's taking jug - short, chopping right hands atop the cleavage and that clouting hook across the full bow of Lindsay's front. Final minute - Lohan's legs trembling as Jaime kicks it up a notch: Krusher beauty really taking it to her foe now, hurting Lindsay, turning her, then hurting her some more. Bell: Lohan stricken, but defiant, refusing to bend the knee against a hellish Pressly bombardment.

Rd 5: Lead right hand up top blocked by Lindsay, but her sternum's open and Jaime's left uppercut digs in PIK! Heartbreaking moan of pain, Lilo - she backs away crippled, crouching forward as she eases into ropes: Pressly's lips a hard, happy line of satisfaction as she hops-to. Quick, skidding right hand scrapes Lilo's hair line, then another juicy, digging left hand rips at her tummy. Jaime loose, supple, straightens as she lays the back of her left hand gently against right side of Lilo's face, then straps Lohan a right hand across the back as Lindsay's bent over. Lilo shudders, straightens on reflex: Jaime swats hook-to-jug, then pushes the left fist against Lindsay's jaw to stabilize her, measure her for a vicious right to chin. Lilo's head tossing - she's hurt again, bending forward behind her gloves, lips parted moist: Jaime lays the back of her left hand against Lilo's left ear, clubs her viciously across the back the swinging right hand. Pressly dipping to get her shoulder under Lohan, then straightening to prop her up - Kruzher pushing in here, getting Lohan's arms out of the way for snappy combo-punching to torso. Lindsay distressed, getting shoved and mauled now, but hanging tuff: ringing blows off her tummy, ribs, TITS and chin simply can't get her off her feet. AND THE REF STEPS IN! Suddenly it's over - parental official waving arms in the air, then hugging Lilo into ropes - TKO5 Jaime Pressly.

After: For all the prefight concern about Lilo taking too MUCH punishment - ref may have stepped in a little quick here. Lindsay well-touched and hurt, but enraged once she gets her bearings: when she wriggles free, she pinwheels into the stunned official, batting away with fury until BSE officials can pull her back. Instantaneous fine (50k) levied against Lohan for assaulting the ref - she's still livid, even when held in Jenny O'Dell's strong grip.

"Like I said," Pressly affirms in postfight. "The kid's a scrapper. She caught me some good licks - nothing serious - but I could tell she was going to fight me every step of the way. I don't think it was a quick stoppage - it was about right. Lindsay was starting to take a beating from me. Can you imagine 5 more rounds of that? I'd have put her out of boxing if that had happened."
