BEFORE: Nolin pushing Cassidy in the chest during photoshoot, trying to goad Freeman: Cassidy's eyes blazing, but she keeps her cool, refusing to be baited into any prefight nonsense. "The kid's got no heart," Gena concludes at podium. "She looks scared to me - like she doesn't want to get me angry. That's smart of course - girls who get me angry wind up like Kate Walsh. But it's also bringing out the beast in me a little...when I smell weakness, well...let's just say there's more than one way to earn the Walsh experience!" Cassidy unflappable - broad-shouldered vixen not a big talker, preferring to let her stunning win over Jessica Biel provide her bona-fides. "If Gena smells weakness, it's because she wants to believe weakness is there," Cassidy shrugs. "Whatever - I mean - Biel pulled this same sort of crap, and it doesn't really effect me. I don't talk a bunch of crap before fights, or get into catfights for the promoters...all I do, is get in the ring and punch. If Gena's smart, she'll do the same." Nolin in yellow bikini; white gloves; long blonde hair loose. Cassidy in midnight blue bra-style bikini top; tan swimsuit bottoms cut to mimic a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader shorts look; auburn hair in ponytail with wispy strands loose from the hairline.

During R1: Cassidy employs ramrod jab to the problem of Gena's chest/pecs, driving blonde to ropes early. Freeman: chin tucked; slight crouch; short jab working jug unless Gena commits to blocking; clubbing right hand deployed to Gena's left bicep; clubbing left working Gena's right bicep or bashing away head/shoulder. Gena: frowning; right at her breasts; left across her gut...she's absorbing thumping shellack; looking to time Cassidy for counter left hands inside. Down the stretch - stubby right knocks Gena's face back, loosening up her knees; Freeman shifts weight to front (left) leg; DIGS left up into Gena's midsection; doubles it; triples it by the bell. Nolin stunned and body-shocked, momentarily wobbly butt as Freeman stalks back to her corner all business.

R2: G giving Cassidy angles midring - Molin creep-stepping to her right, pawing the left while holding the right cocked at chin, ready for sudden deployment. Cassidy cautious, recognizing Gena's attack posture from tape-study: Freeman not too proud to step back out of range when it looks like G might turn redhead left flank. Cagey stuff from longer ranges - Freeman stepping in, jabbing hard for Gena's left pec; G lifting the jab off her hip to spank at Freeman's rack or mouth.

R3: Cassidy jabs Gena to ropes, begins working her over big-girl. Cassidy: bobbing on the spot - fists curled atop her breasts/elbows in...she's cuffing lefts and rights at Gena's breadbasket out of the bob, using the left shoulder/extended left elbow to keep Nolin pinned down. Gena scowling, getting bullied here...blonde swiping at redhead ears on either side with short, elbows-in delivery. Bruising bump and slug not good for Gena: she's absorbing in her body, getting ragdolled...Cassidy proving very strong from top-position at ropes. Gena trying to lean in shoulder-to-shoulder and work on the inside...Freeman happy with all terms. Down the stretch, Cassidy comes off the body with a hook to chin: Nolin sags back into ropes, suddenly spellbound. Cassidy bobs, hooks - turing Gena's head to the side; Cassidy bobs, hooks - blistering Gena across the jugs. Nolin reaches to clinch: Cassidy bobs under the embrace, comes up right/left to Gena's belly...blonde girl pitches forward into redhead arms. Cassidy shifts to ride left arm around Gena's back, pushing Nolin's left side to ropes, her left hip propped on a cable, and Cassidy's PUMPING IN RIGHTY! Cassidy holding and hitting, taking Gena in her jugs; punching her face...redhead's face all tense concentration as she pours home the work...Gena helpless, her right arm across Cassidy's lower back as Nolin's soaking up the hurt! BLONDE GIRL DOWN! All happens so suddenly...blocky right jams into Gena's right cheek, shutting off power to her legs...she drops to hands-and-face, stretching out on her tummy and it's OVER! Brutal KO3 Cassidy Freeman in giant-killing fashion.

AFter: Biel...Gena Lee...throw in a life-and-death struggle against Erica Durance early in Freeman's career and suddenly pundits are starting to pay attention. "I'm not flashy, and I'm not slick," Cassidy admits in postfight, smiling ever so slightly, "but I'm farm-girl strong and I get my chores done in the ring, you know? I think Gena totally thought I was some no-name brand-x fighter promoters were bringing in to pump fresh air up her skirt. All I pump is leather, and girls need to be ready for that. When I get on top at the ropes, I don't care who you are: I'm finishing the fight."
