BEFORE:

"Torv is strong. Torv is tough. Torv is physical," says a smiling Rosario. "Well, Torv doesn't KNOW strong, tough, and physical. But she's about to meet them."

"Dawson's been doing an awful lot of talking about how tough she is," says a hard-eyed Anna. "An awful lot. And maybe she intimidates some girls with that. But not THIS girl."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, Jenny O'Dell with Pam Anderson and Tess Valmore, and it's lightweight action up next with I.F.F.I's Rosario Dawson battling Front Street's Anna Torv, and that's 'Out Tonight' being sung by the lovely Rosario herself and here comes Ms. Dawson..."

Pam: "Rosario hasn't been around the FCBA for awhile, and, as she climbs in the ring and drops the robe revealing a black bikini, I think I might know why. Not many girls lining up to get in the ring with a girl built like that!"

O'Dell: "No doubt Dawson's plenty physical, but, so is the woman coming down the aisle right now to 'Power and the Passion' by Midnight Oil, 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv. As Torv works her way into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, revealing a black bikini of her own, I'll ask for a prediction, Pam..."

Pam: "Torv's the favorite, of course, because of her experience. But Dawson has a chance here, I think. She's not as slick as Anna, but she can bang with anyone and she's got something to prove tonight. If I have to make a pick, it's Torv, but a Dawson victory wouldn't surprise me that much."

O'Dell: "Well, let's find out. There's the bell for round one and Rosario right across the ring, going to work! Letting the hands go, backing Anna up, forcing her to cover up. Torv keeping the guard high, not engaging as Dawson gets off lusty."

Pam: "Rosario clearly fired up for her first FCBA action in a long time. Debuting for a brand new stable. Pretty heady stuff! And, of course, there's the fact that Torv's manager is on record as having nearly signed Dawson several times before passing her over for other fighters. Could be she's trying to show him he made a mistake."

O'Dell: "Dawson lands a good right hand, working in close, going body. Torv covering, backing up, getting the occasional jab to land, but Dawson in firm control."

Pam: "Rosario bumping and shoving Torv around, banging to the body, slamming punches into her guard, just bullying her right now, clearly trying to make a statement."

O'Dell: "Well, if the statement is about winning the first round, she just did it handily. There's the bell and a great start for Dawson."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round underway and Dawson pressuring again. Torv using that left jab now to parry. Rosario looking to counter with right hands off of it, looking to use the left to the body. Torv getting a little space now, slowing Dawson some with the jab."

Pam: "This is more to Anna's liking. Dawson still landing, but Anna restoring some order here. Got the left working, looking to fit in some rights, making Dawson work to get off."

O'Dell: "Dawson lands a good right and Torv counters with a three-punch flurry! Dawson bangs the body and Anna snaps a hard left into her chin. Good back and forth stuff here, Pam!"

Pam: "Neither woman taking a step back right now. Both trying to impose some will, neither able to do it."

O'Dell: "Torv with a good left-right at the bell and I think that round went to the Aussie."

Pam: "Agreed. All even after two on my card."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third now and Rosario pressuring again. Anna responding with that good left hand, scoring with it, using it to slow Dawson down and create space."

Pam: "Torv can't impose will at the moment, but she IS imposing her fight plan on Dawson."

O'Dell: "Not stopping Rosario from getting some work done, though. Dawson landing effectively with a nice combination! Anna firing right back with a flurry of her own. Again, not a backward step from either fighter! You've been awfully quiet, Tess. What's your take on this?"

Tess: "Well, without Mac to feed me those straight lines, it's harder to know when to jump in. But, so far, I'm impressed with Dawson. Anna's a top ten light and Rosario's giving her a good fight."

O'Dell: "For those of you just joining us, Pam Anderson on color tonight instead of J-Mac, as usual when Ms. McCarthy is on the card..."

Pam: "And, unlike Mac, I agree with Tess. I'm impressed with Dawson, too. Good, hard left hook there by Rosario! Anna double taps the jab, blocks a right hand, hooks the body. That's the round. Good, competitive stuff, but I think Anna got the better of it."

Tess: "I agree, Pam. I think we've both got Torv up 29-28 through three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "We're into the fourth now and Dawson still trying to pressure, but Anna's not having any. Torv picking Rosario off with that educated left jab. Stopping her forward movement, leaving her punches short."

Pam: "Rosario not able to get past Torv's glove. She's out on the end of the Aussie's punches right now, and she doesn't want to be there."

O'Dell: "Good right, Anna! Rosario felt that one. A snapping straight right that stung Dawson and backed her up a step."

Pam: "First time Dawson's gone in reverse the whole fight."

O'Dell: "Rosario shakes it off, back to trying to work forward. Anna with another booming right! Dawson buckled right there, Pam! Rosario covering up now as Anna bangs away to the head and body."

Pam: "Dawson being forced backward. She felt that last one!"

O'Dell: "Torv with ANOTHER left-right, and Dawson wobbles again! Rosario backed to the ropes now, and has to be happy to hear that bell ring ending round four!"

Pam: "Let's check the replay on the first right hand that wobbled Dawson. Rosario working forwad and watch how Anna stops her in her tracks with that straight left, and, when it lands, the right's already on the way, banging off the cheek and buckling Dawson's knees. Best round of the fight so far for Anna Torv."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Back to live action in the fifth and Anna ratcheting up the pressure. Torv moving forward now behind the left hand, lands a solid right. Backs Rosario up a step. Dawson unable to get off right now. Torv pre-empting her, using the jab to move her around...BIG RIGHT HAND, ANNA! Dawson hurt! Torv digs to the body with a left hook...AND ROCKS ROSARIO AGAIN WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

Pam: "Dawson just covering up now, hanging on. Anna surgical. Staying in control, still working the jab. Setting up..."

O'Dell: "ANOTHER big straight right! Dawson staggered! Torv with a three-punch flurry! Snapped Rosario's head back. Dawson stumbles into the ropes. Torv popping that left between the gloves, banging a right to the body. DAWSON HURT AGAIN! A WHISTLING RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! Rosario staggers along the ropes..."

Pam: "Ropes may be all that's holding her up!"

O'Dell: "ANOTHER right and Dawson's knees bend! Somehow she stays up! Referee looking closely..."

Pam: "He ought to be..."

O'Dell: "Torv snaps the head back with a left, SLAMS A RIGHT INTO THE LEFT CHEEK AND DAWSON STUMBLES TO HER RIGHT. BELL! BELL!"

Pam: "And if you thought Dawson was glad to hear it LAST round..."

Tess: "We may have just witnessed a pretty rare occurance in the FCBA. A 10-8 round without a knockdown..."

Pam: "That's certainly how it's going down on my card, and that gives Torv a nice 49-45 lead after five."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Dawson getting a lot of instruction between rounds. The Front Street corner, on the other hand, not saying much to Anna..."

Pam: "Not much needs said. If this were one of the stable's younger, less experienced fighters, Jewel and Neve would be in their ear about having a solid lead and sticking with the plan and not chasing a knockout. They don't need to do that with Anna."

O'Dell: "There's the bell and Torv calmly, systematically working that left jab. Sticking it in Dawson's face, moving her around with it, not letting her get off. Rosario trying to counter with rights over top, but Anna's giving her too many angles. Torv lands another good right. Sweat flew off Rosario's head. Anna double-taps the jab, forces Dawson backward..."

Pam: "This is what a good technical fighter can do. Just take complete control. Force you into places you don't want to be. Force you to do things you don't want to do."

O'Dell: "Good, sharp left-right from Torv. Dawson felt both of them. Rosario gamely fires back. Landed a piece of the left, but Torv dodged the right and snapped a left home over it."

Pam: "Dawson busting up, but give her credit. She's staying in there. Still trying to compete. Not giving up."

O'Dell: "Still trying to get off at the bell, and not having much success doing it."

Pam: "Another good round for Torv. 59-54 now.."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh underway and Dawson now showing some movement, Pam."

Pam: "Little change in tactics, here. Dawson's been looking to bang and be physical the entire fight, now doing some boxing. Circling away from Anna's dangerous right hand, using her own jab to good effect."

O'Dell: "Torv lands a left, Rosario a left hook to the body in response. Anna's not finding the range with the right at the moment, short with it as Dawson's judging distances and angles well...ROSARIO A BIG FLURRY, PAM! SHE ROCKED TORV WITH A GOOD STRAIGHT RIGHT IN THERE!"

Pam: "Sure did! Torv wobbled and covered up. Dawson digging body now, letting the hands go, bouncing punches off Anna's gloves. Looking for something big here!"

O'Dell: "Dawson backing Torv up, bodying up, hooking the flanks, splits the guard with a jab...and now Anna fires back! Torv with a nice flurry, stops Dawson in her tracks. Anna lands a nasty left hook to the body, snaps back Dawson's head with a right. Rosario a left hook and Torv a three-punch combination at the bell!"

Pam: "Nice ending rally by Torv. Didn't win her the round, but it blunted the momentum Dawson was building up."

Tess: "Good round for Rosario, though. Just when you thought she was out of the fight. I've got it 68-64. It would take a heck of a rally, but it's possible."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "We enter the eighth now and Dawson looking to reassert control moving behind that jab. Torv adjusting now, finding the range with the big, straight left again. Nicking Dawson up for points. Rosario circling right, but Torv making her pay with the left hand and..."

Pam: "DAWSON'S HURT!"

O'Dell: "BIG RIGHT CROSS, TORV! Really shook Dawson! Rosario stumbles backward and Anna to work, ripping that left between the gloves, snapping back Dawson's head. Hooks the side of the head with the right. Rosario crouching, covering up, backing into the ropes. Anna hooking body, nice short left to the head. Dawson clinching, hanging on. Referee breaks them. Rosario snaps out a jab, but Anna flurries back..."

Pam: "Dawson still wobbly, Jenny O! Torv surgical, precise, picking her apart. Scoring at will."

O'Dell: "Rosario backed into the ropes as Torv's in full clean up mode, working the body, uppercut snapping the head back. There's the bell with Torv in total command."

Pam: "We're definitely in 'need a stoppage' territory for Dawson now. 78-73 with two to go."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "We're into the ninth now and Dawson working forward again. Torv landing the left, keeping her at bay..."

Pam: "Rosario has to pressure now, she can be trying to score points, has to take Torv out of there."

O'Dell: "Dawson eats a left, hooks the body, nice left to the head. Anna slugging back. Both girls letting the hands go...AND TORV GOT ROCKED...DOWN SHE GOES! Dawson hurt Torv with a short right and put her on the canvas with a follow up left hook!"

Pam: "Torv to her knees at five, she's going to beat the count."

O'Dell: "Up at seven. Will take the mandatory eight. Referee waives Dawson forward and Rosario all in! Banging away, looking to take finish the Aussie off. Anna backing into the ropes...AND FIRING BACK! Torv snaps back Dawson's head with a right hand. Now backing Rosario up with a flurry. DAWSON STAGGERED...DOWN GOES ROSARIO!"

Pam: "Just a brutal combination from Torv. Right hook, left hook, straight right. All on the button."

O'Dell: "Dawson rolls to all fours, and she's up at eight. Referee now giving HER the mandatory and waiving Torv forward. Anna getting busy right away, backing Dawson into the ropes, going body, now slamming a right hand between the gloves to snap back Dawson's head. Rosario covering up on the ropes as Anna goes to town. Referee looking in. Dawson doing just enough to keep him at bay. Anna rocking her with both hands. There's the bell."

Tess: "Round of the year candidate, Pam?"

Pam: "Sure is, but the end result is that Anna won it, and has command...as long as Dawson doesn't manage to pull the rabbit all the way out of the hat. And, any questions about Anna's heart that weren't answered last time out just got taken care of."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "On to the final round, and, one way or another, both ladies going to know they've been in a fight tonight. There's the bell, and Dawson again trying to work forward. Torv stopping her cold with the left jab. Doubling up on it, backing Rosario up with a hard right. Dawson forced backward, being controlled by that jab."

Pam: "Anna not sitting on this lead, Jenny O. She's plenty busy right now."

O'Dell: "Torv with a nice one-two stopped Rosario in her tracks...AND A FOLLOW UP FLURRY BUCKLES HER KNEES! DAWSON HURT, WOBBLING...ANNA ROCKS HER WITH A LEFT HOOK...DOWN SHE GOES! STRAIGHT RIGHT AND DAWSON DOWN ON HER BACK!"

Pam: "It's over, Jenny O. Rosario's counting lights..."

O'Dell: "Count at seven, eight, nine...THAT'S IT. Dawson still on her back at ten! The winner by KO 10 is 'The Aussie Enforcer', Anna Torv!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Anna Torv, and, Anna, a physical fight tonight..."

Anna: "I've fought a lot of tough, strong, physical fighters, girls like Lopez, Garner, and Lawless. Rosario doesn't have to take a back seat to any of them. All she needs is rounds. She's got management now, and she'll get them. Fair warning for the rest of the division."

Tess: "And what's next for Anna Torv?"

Anna(smiling): "I've got management, too. I leave that stuff up to him. He sets them up, I just knock 'em down."
