Before: Pictures of fighters with their managers clearly show Academy’s manager Ginny giggling wildly as she tries to look under an unsuspecting Poindexter Del Crunchy’s kilt.

As for the fighters: “I think this is a great opportunity for me. Jill’s one of the top notch athletes in the division. Peregrym like actually, but she’s basically taken most of the year off. I’ll be her toughest opponent of the last 6 months and I plan on taking advantage of that.” Candi Swanepoel announces as she takes care to strike several poses on the dais. “Look I don’t have to justify who I’ve fought and neither does Candi with her coffee klatch of models. This will be a real fight with no catwalks, blowing kisses or hissy fights allowed.” Jill Wagner responds imitating Swanepoel’s exaggerated stances. Swanepoel looking candiliscious in a bright red volleyball bikini with “Academy” written across the buttocks, hair in a braided ponytail and red boxing shoes. Wagner devastating the crowd in a black leather bra, a matching leather loin cloth and black boots. Hair loose and tangly.

Rd 1 Candi galloping out quickly chasing after Wagner. Jill initially much too quick for Swanepoel ducking to her left but Wipeout beauty slips and Swanepoel lands an overhand right that cracks Wagner good on the side of her head. Bazz girl rocked badly right off the bat. Swanepoel smells blood in the water and proceeds to bomb Wagner with wide loping punches. The blows are methodical but Wags barely able to hold off the onslaught as she swoons to one side hands protecting her head. Both corners screaming hysterically, Academy for a quick knock out and Bazz for their girl to somehow hang on through the last minute. Swanepoel stalks her prey on long shapely legs. It’s far from a technical masterpiece but the model’s punches loop in from way downtown and keep the staggering Wagner off balance and stomping out any hope of recovery. Only the bell saves Wagner from an early evening. Candi shuts out Jill.

Rd 2 Swanepoel out with the same long and lean style looking to continue her dominance with the leverage from her reach. Instead right away she’s met by a rejuvenated Wagner who immediately out quicks Candi with a right hand to the body. Swanepoel doubles over and is stung by several more body shots from Wagner’s Gatling gun like speed. Pretty model is baffled by punches coming from out of nowhere and the fact that she’s no longer in charge. Now it’s Wagner stalking the lanky blonde. Swanepoel shuffles back towards the ropes with the Bazz girl in hot pursuit. Wagner forces Swanepoel against the ropes with a quick three punch combination, two to the belly and one to a low hanging jug just for good measure. Swanepoel sick and tired of the beat down and shabby treatment not worthy of a super model moves to her left and starts throwing punches. Once she opens things up though it’s DOWN GOES SWANEPOEL! Gorgeous blonde looks paralyzed on the mat for a brief moment the result of a blinding left jab right uppercut combo from Wagner. Referee gets to seven before Candi is up and at em. She’s groggy but good to go nonetheless. Like Swanepoel the round before Wagner moves in for the kill yet Swanepoel fights back gamely. Still it’s the Wipeout vixen terrorizing the model with a punishing array of combinations until the bell saves the Academy.

Rd 3 Wagner out quick looking to finish what she started. Swanepoel’s lanky stance somewhat mystifying. Her punches from lengthy arms come in unconventionally and Wagner gets caught a couple of times as she tries to figure the lanky fighter out. Still the athletic Bazz girl shows off a smooth fluid style dancing between Swanepoel’s fists to land easy jabs to her pretty face. Wagner continues to control the tempo now snapping off jabs at will. Swanepoel frustrated beyond belief as punches come in like vicious bee stings. Pretty model reduced to covering up against the ropes as Wagner has her way with her.

Rd 4 Swanepoel shocks the Bazz girl coming out strong as if the previous two round beat down had been a mirage. Swanepoel’s long reach continues to look unconventional but nevertheless the jabs are strong and snap against Wagner’s forehead. Wagner getting walked back by the runway model. As round continues Swanepoel starts trying to land some combinations and finds some success. Left jabs followed by right hands uppercuts find their mark against the sweat covered body. Wagner in full retreat surviving on her conditioning and using her superior agility to stay alive up against the ropes. Swanepoel now flat footed summoning all the leverage she can muster to power up on Wagner.

Rd 5 More of the same. Wagner looking visibly shocked as she takes punishment from, of all opponents, a model! Wagner shuffles back as Swanepoel opens up with more combinations, Blonde beauty no longer concerned with defense. Wagner just covering up, hanging on and letting Swanepoel do her thing. Crowd goes wild as Swanepoel proceeds with a hup! hup! hup! examination of Wagner’s jugs. Swanepoel feeling her oats punishing Wagner’s taut belly with a rapid succession of blows topped off with an uppercut to the left jug. Wagner all glassy eyed and ready to go, only her strong legs keeping her afloat.

Rd 6 Swanepoel out to finish things up walks right into a strong Jill Wagner jab to the nose. Swanepoel stunned and angered that athletic Wipeout girl isn’t giving up a knock out more easily. Blonde starts chasing down Wagner with a “Don’t you understand I’m a supermodel !” look on her face but agile Bazz girl isn’t buying it. Swanepoel attacks with her unconventional lanky punchy style. Wagner dances in between the punches with her left leg forward touching up the sexy blonde with a left jab and a quick right to the side of the head. Good back and forth now. Swanepoel’s length and leverage versus Wagner’s quick athletic bursts up the middle. Still it’s Wagner in control at the end of the round.

Rd 7 Wagner continues to stalk Swanepoel doing her best to combat the blonde model’s reach with her prowess in the ring. Both fighters looking for an opening when suddenly Wagner strikes, a left jab stings Swanepoel on the nose and a right cross to the chin sends the model into a tizzy. Wagner all over the statuesque beauty with wide punches. She moves Swanepoel against the ropes and in a wide flat footed stance begins to launch the whole arsenal. Despite being hurt again Swanepoel defends herself well and withstands the withering assault. Upper body moves side to side avoiding certain knock out blows from Wagner. Round ends with model showing some surprising toughness and a unique ability to get out of trouble amid a horrific barrage.

Rd 8 Swanepeol recovers from the last round and once again engages Wagner. Both fighters weary, circling each other, looking for an opening. Swanepoel moves in with an overhand right that grazes Wagner’s forehead who counters underneath with a left uppercut to the body. Lots of near misses and harmless body shots until the last minute when Swanepoel lands a strong right cross to Wagner’s face. Power punch puts tall model on the offensive battering the hurt Bazz girl with more combinations to the head. Wagner unaccustomed to such a pasting. Usually too quick and oily for just about any lightweight she’s been battered throughout the fight.

Rd 9 Wagner on the defensive now. The last round has slowed her and Swanepoel takes advantage. Long and lean model jabs at hurt opponent trying to break down her earmuff stance along the ropes. Finally Swanepoel opens up with some wide swings at Wagner who offers less and less of a defense. Fists coming in hot and heavy now with Wagner’s arms the only defense. Swanepoel bouncing punches off of Wagner now with little respite for the gorgeous Bazz girl. Round turns into a beat down in favor of Swanepoel. Wagner gamely hanging on as the blonde model had in earlier rounds against her.

Rd 10 Wagner now joined by Swanepoel in the too fatigued to fight efficiently club. Both fighters clinch often at center ring. The previous round has exhausted Swanepoel but she remains in control pushing Wagner away and landing lazy punches with little left on them. Swanepoel doing her best to keep her punches crisp to record a knockout but there’s just not much left in the tank. Academy corner calling out to their girl to protect herself as well. The threat of a strike from Wagner’s quick hands ever present. Yet it quickly becomes apparent that Wagner is only interested in hanging onto the tall blonde and take the occasional thump from her until the round ends. Swanepoel tries one more time to put down Wagner pushing her away and swinging an extremely tired looking combination at Wagner but it fails to move the dominated Wipeout girl. Ref steps in as the bell rings UD 10 Swanepoel in an upset.

After: Wagner offers little protest as Swanepoel’s arm is raised. The Bazz girl offers congratulations to Swanepoel with a hug and staggers off to her corner. Both fighters put on an extraordinary display of heart. Either one could have dropped from the punishment handed out in this back and forth tilt. “Oh man what a night! I don’t know quite what it looked like to the fans but it was back and forth all the way. Wags is good there’s no doubt about it but I got her good in the end. She’s quick and she’s got plenty of power but it’s on to the next victim for me. I don’t see her wanting to come back and see me for quite a while.” An exultant Candi Swanepoel squeals surrounded by her Academy members.
