Helen is another BBU bantamweight who has expressed her displeasure at Az being included, telling Denise van Outen, “The tart’s just some model from South West England – she’s not even Z – list, not on any list as far as I know!” Az is unfazed, and tells Denise, “Helen may be better known than me, but she has no talent, and no looks to speak of – I want to get her beaten and move on!”

The girls have had an aggressive confrontation at the weigh-in, with Az calling Helen a ‘fat wag’
Referring to her relationship with a Premier League football player, and Helen has vowed to make Az kneel before her and kiss her feet in front of her own ‘scabby friends’

So, by the time the girls are ready to enter the ring in Az’s favourite club, their dislike of each other is clear – and Helen is booed when she enters the ring first, sexily clad in a red basque top and black bikini briefs, which seems to tone the booing down a little. Then in jumps local favourite Az, wearing her usual union jack bra and sawn-off denim briefs, and she looks very keen to get on with this fight tonight.

Round 1

Both girls come out throwing punches, but it’s Az who lands the more telling ones, her speed around the ring and her longer reach helping her to beat the actress to the punch, and she’s already got the younger girl on the defensive, shielding her face from those fast, accurate jabs, but still getting caught with right hooks which Az slings in behind her lead, quickly reddening Helen’s face. Backed up against the ropes as the round enters it’s closing stages, and with the points already going the model’s way, Helen finally lands a good punch, a solid left hook to Az’s cheek, which rocks her a little, and she can then rip a few into the local girl’s ribcage before the bell.

Round 2

Az is a little slow off her stool, and that costs her, with Helen clubbing her to the body with a series of left hooks, then. As she works the pretty model into the ropes, she switches her attack to the face, giving Az a tough time, while all the model can do is hold on, her jabs becoming less effective. As the round draws on, Az slips off the ropes, and circles Helen, the girls trade briefly, but Helen comes off the better from this, as Az slumps back to the ropes again, her nose bleeding, and she gets hurt with another hook to her body, looking shaky at the bell.

Round 3

Having made it through a torrid round, Az seems to have regrouped now, and she’s moving better and flicking her jab into Helen’s face, tormenting the actress, keeping the younger girl on the move, exposing her lack of fitness, allowing herself the time to land some good blows around the body, which has Helen drifting backwards, mouth gaping in pain. The actress still has the strength to hold onto Royal, though, and she pushes her to the ropes to try to punish her around the ribs again, and she is also looking to get her right uppercut working, whistling one past Az’s chin, then having another blocked, before the model closes the round by hooking Helen’s mouth with a couple of lefts, and that leaves the actress dazed as the round ends.

Round 4

Helen looks a little tired – she is not the most enthusiastic trainer in the BBU, and Az is very energetic, landing punches at will to the actress’s body, looking really good, but Helen still has a punch, and she lands a right hook to Royal’s cheek, sending the model backwards and into the ropes, closes in, looking for the girl’s belly, but gets turned, takes a straight right to the mouth whilst off guard, then gets put to her knees when Az follows up with a left hook, and Helen is panting as she takes a 7 count, annoyed to have been made to look a fool. Helen pours into Az as hard as she can, but her work is untidy, and it’s Az landing the crisper punches, Helen’s face now looking messed up, with her cheeks bruising and her lips swollen, her knees looking shaky as the bell rings.

Round 5

Now Az is really able to show her skills, as she skips around Helen, not just jabbing her, but landing little flurries of punches against the virtually static actress. Flanagan’s not a girl to shirk a challenge, though, and she bravely trade punches in the centre of the ring, taking three for every one she lands, and, once she starts to stumble backwards, the fans know their favourite has won, and she lays Helen out with a nice right hook to the jaw, the actress not trying to beat the count.

Az Royal knocked Helen Flanagan out in round 5.

That was Az’s best performance to date, and she proudly dances around the ring as her fans cheer her. Spotting Denise van Outen at ringside, she tells her, “You wanted me to prove myself – I think I just did!” Denise is smiling back at her, “Yes, you did everything that was asked of you tonight. Who are you looking to fight next?” The model just laughs, “Well Emma Rigby seemed keen the other day, but Flanagan took her apart in 4, and I’ve just hammered Flanagan in 5, so my guess is she’ll back off!” The model looks thoughtful, “Maybe one of the Page 3 tarts, like Louise Glover? Then I’d really like to fight one of the Japanese Girls – Sayaka Ando, maybe? After that, who knows? An Australian, like Sophie Monk?”
