The KO Club in North London, home of the Lioness Club, hosts it's first event of 2012 with four bouts making up the card of the Flyweight Invitational. Two of the Lioness flyweights, Heidi Range and Jeanette Biedermann enter the ring for the first time this year and a Dutch newcomer Sylvie van der Vaart makes her debut on international scene. In addition, Garnet Gunners UK's Danielle Lineker also gets her maiden opportunity, several months after signing for the BBU organisation.

The card will go through as follows:

Jeanette Biedermann (Lioness Club, 2-2, 1 KO) vs Sylvie van der Vaart (unmanaged, debut)

Louise Redknapp (Marti's Maulers, 0-2) vs Danielle Lineker (Garnet Gunners UK, debut)

Nikki Sanderson (Kear's Kats, 6-5, 5 KO) vs Louisa Lytton (Girls Friday, 0-1)

Main Event: Heidi Range (Lioness Club, 3-1, 3 KO) vs Emilie Ullerup (Team Canada, 1-1, 1 KO)

BBU TV's lead reporter Denise van Outen talks with Lioness Club's director of communications, Kate Garraway about tonight's card and some notable absentees.

Denise: "Hi Kate! Well, you've got quite a card here, but with four fights and four flyweights in your stable why aren't they all active? The obvious girls missing are Emma Bunton and the notorious enfant terrible Geri Halliwell."

Kate: "Hi Denise, nice to see you making the trip to Barnet. As for Emma and Geri, well, we never intended to put all our girls in every bout tonight. Both Emma and Geri are scheduled to take part in the Downunder Boxing rematch event where neither Heidi or Jeanette will be present. It's quite a logical that we put them in action tonight before they get too rusty. "

Denise: "Indeed, Jeanette hasn't fought since that painful loss to Emilie Ullerup last December and Heidi had even longer pause dating back to November where she had a very easy bout against Roxanne Pallett. And Ullerup comes back tonight to face Heidi! Tell me that's no coincidence!"

Kate: "No, it's not. Emilie became quite popular with her cocky demeanour. Guess fans want some personality even though Ullerup is annoying as hell at times if you ask me. I've heard enough calls for her return, so her she is going against Heidi. I must say Heidi wasn't best pleased about this bout, she wanted to have a crack at Jorgie Porter first, but Porter's in high demand lately and we must wait on her for some time. So, Heidi gets Emilie and we're OK with that!"

Denise: "Tell me about the new girl from Holland who takes on Jeanette. I've heard she's the poor man's Victoria Beckham and we all know Posh isn't actually that popular over here since she married a Manchester man."

Kate: "We've been looking out for some girls and we found Sylvie quite close, just few blocks away! She's not a poor man's Posh, mind you! When Tottenham become Premiership champions everyone will say they rooted for Sylvie straight from the get go! Hopefully she puts a great fight and I know Jeanette never likes fighting newcomers who are unfazed by her constant trash talk. Besides, Germany vs Holland is always a bitter rivalry, why shouldn't we build on that?"

Denise: "I get your point, Kate. Finally we have another WAG rookie, Danielle Lineker. The name speaks for itself, she's the wife of THAT one and only Gary Lineker. And she takes on another WAG, Louise Redknapp. I mean Lineker vs Redknapp? That's more football connections than even Match of the Day can handle?"

Kate: "Yeah, we got 'em in full swing, don't we? (laughs) Louise is heading to a newly created stable, so I've heard, and this is her farewell bout as unmanaged fighter or a semi-official debut for the Maulers. Call it as you like. She's over the moon someone signed her and I guess that sparks trouble for the Welsh girl Lineker. However if Danielle's as good as Imogen Thomas for instance, we're in for a treat! "

Denise: "And finally it's BBU veteran Nikki Sanderson against Louisa Lytton."

Kate: "Yup, couple of crowd favorites methinks. Nikki's behind Jorgie Porter in the Kats' pecking order but definitely worth a decent fight and Lytton is a promising upstart whom we're helping to get some exposure. I guess there's nothing wrong with that?"

Denise: "No, most certainly there isn't any wrong with that. Hopefully this will be a great evening of fights. My experience tells me those flyweights are the most vicious girls out there and neither will hold back in order to demolish each other. Let's get the action started!"
