The main event of the Lioness Club Flyweight Invitational features the sparkling local blonde Heidi Range and one of the most notorious spoiled brats BBU has ever seen, Team Canada's own, Emilie Ullerup. Range returns to action after nearly three months of lay-off period during which she dumped her boyfriend of eight years, dropped a stone in weight and entered the popular Dancing On Ice TV show where she found out that Kear's Kats fellow flyweight Jorgie Porter also competes much to her dismay. "There's room for only one flyweight blonde on this show" Heidi famously told the BBU TV's Denise van Outen last week, but before she can clash with Porter in the ring, she's been ordered a fight with another girl, just to shake off all the potential rust.

Opportunity was passed along to Emilie Ullerup who caused a lot of stir towards the end of last year with her extremely vocal criticism of the flyweight division's strenght. This comments didn't go down well within the Cardiff organization especially when Ullerup knocked out Jeanette Biedermann in comprehensive fashion few days later. However her momentum was partially stopped after losing to FCBA veteran Danielle Harris in a shopping-mall brawl and there's another major blip on Emilie's resume, a painful loss to a lowly-ranked Nadine Coyle on her BBU debut.

Ullerup wants to set the record straight and couldn't be happy enough after signing for another Lioness clash "I've destroyed Biedermann, I'll do the same with Range! Just watch and enjoy me punch the stuffing ouf of her empty head!" Ullerup's never been on the humble side of things as she ponders a winning return tonight with the help of Team Canada's head coach Amanda Tapping. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Emilie gets vocal even before throwing the first punch as she abuses Heidi straight away, but the English girl ignores the foul-mouthing and circles around the ropes, waiting for the Danish-Canadian to strike first. Ullerup's been known for rushing things even when not needed and she doesn't hold back for too long here as well. Ullerup rips her opponent with a crisp hook and follows up with another from the other side, but Heidi's gloves hold up well and she counters with low jabs to the midsection. Emilie's been paying attention to those low shots when she got badly exposed by Nadine Coyle and vows never to repeat those mistakes again. She jumps away but immediately steps up as Heidi was briefly rooted to the spot and lands a solid hook to the head, but it's all leather-testing at the beginning with both girls throwing single punches, trying to impose some authority on the proceedings. Ullerup more lively and agile, jumps back and forth, left and right with Range more calm of the two. Late charge from Emilie catches her off guard though and allows the Canadian to land a couple of nasty jabs to the stomach but a hooking follow-up to the head goes wayward as the local girl ducked underneath it and clinched with the fellow blonde instead. Ullerup's bemused with this early tactics, wants to shove her away and throws more nasty jabs to the ribs but the bell interrupts their struggle before the referee can.

Round 2:
Ullerup with an early drive, faking couple of low jabs and rocking Heidi's head with a precise hook moments later. Range looks for a response but misses a wild hook as Emilie leaps away from her and begins another circle from the other side. Heidi clearly puzzled by the Canadian's footwork which she's unable to match so far and Emilie takes full use of her much longer reach by peppering the English blonde's ribcage from mid-distance. Fruitless response from Heidi, barely grazes Ullerup's flesh with single punches and can't close her down. Ullerup's happy to introduce a more sophisticated approach into this bout, takes clear notice of her longer reach and fakes some shots before unloading a vicious jabbing sequence to the stomach which backs Range along the ropes. Emilie leaps after her but misses a hook and Heidi clinches, wrapping her arm around the elbow and almost wrestling the Canadian to the corner as Ullerup looks to lace her with her free arm but can't reach her. Ref shoves Heidi away and there's more vocal abuse from Emilie who clearly isn't impressed by her approach, but the local girl just jumps away to the ropes and bides her time until the bell as Ullerup decided not to attack anymore in this round.

Round 3:
Heidi still looking for some jabs to the midsection, but gets countered with a wild left hook to the cheek that snaps her head back and forces to the ropes again. Emilie fakes a forward leap, leaving her arm stretched out and Heidi nearly stumbles over with another jump in avoidance, but this was needless as Ullerup slowly circles around her looking to trap her in a corner. Range moves away to the side but gets peppered from mid-distance and Emilie reached the striking distance and pounced on without further hesitation. Heidi unleashes a wild hook and goes for the follow-up but misses both shots and gets thumped in the guts as she closed right in with the Canadian who easily exposed her. Solid series of jabs land on the local girl's tummy and Heidi covers up as Emilie pounds her from both flanks, backing against the ropes with ease. Ullerup sends more shots to the head but Range's guard remain in tact despite intense efforts from the Canadian blonde and she reverts to ribcage pummelling where Heidi's more fragile. Crowd is silent at the bell with Ullerup ripping into Heidi's guts who moans quietly along the ropes, finding no response to her rival's attacks.

Round 4:
Emilie bunny hops around the ring and teases the local girl into a charge with her arms dropped to the side but Heidi's very hesitant in execution, circles around the cocky Canadian before finally firing a hook to the face. Ullerup weaves away and counters with low jabs to the midsection, landing them cleanly but misses a hook to the head and allowing Range to step up and nail her in the breasts before a solid low uppercut catches her in the jaw. Crowd immediately gets behind their girl but Emilie unloads a chaotic sequence, trying to stop more follow-ups, as Heidi's face is grazed by wayward jabs. She sidesteps well though and lands a solid combination to the stomach, forcing the Canadian to back away. Ullerup covers up but Heidi throws couple of big hooks which shake her guard and Range leaps towards her, backing her against the ropes where she tries more nasty jabs in the stomach. Emilie's low guard works much better, English girl's attempts crash off her arms and they lock themselves into a clinch with Heidi dragging her down and lacing in the back. Emilie's arms are blocked by her elbows and she can only hope for the ref to step in and he finally does so, shoving the local girl away. Ullerup remains pinned against the ropes but tries to sidestep only to get stopped by a flying hook from Heidi that catches her on top of the gloves and grazes over the brow ridge. More clinching follows as both girls crash against each other and they remain locked together at the bell.

Round 5:
Both girls with immediate charge, Heidi looks to have banished her early butterflies and steps up on her rival more aggressively, accepting the fact she was never going to cause Ullerup any trouble with her opening rounds performance. Single jabs to the chest and stomach make little impression on the Canadian though as she thumps Heidi in the cheek in response, all the way around her gloves, before firing a low jabbing sequence to the ribcage, almost bending the local girl in pain. Range's keen to square up to her rival, but gets pasted in the stomach and looks for a clinch soon however Emilie's footwork remains superior and she ignores those attempts, landing more shots to the body. Heidi is made look sluggish, throwing weak jabs that miss the lively Canadian's body and getting whacked in the cheek with another fine hook. Ullerup pushes her towards the ropes, unloads crisp jabs to the tummy and Heidi sinks on her knees, moaning in pain, but Emilie shows her no mercy and laces in the mouth, breaking through her guard with ease. Range's head gets rocked from side to side and it's a sorry sight for all the fans inside the KO Club. Emilie in full control, thumps Heidi with another gutwrencher and this time it's too much for the English blonde who slides down on her backside, sobbing in visible pain. Crowd gasps for some much-needed air as the ref starts the count with Emilie waving her arms in winning gestures already. Heidi helps herself onto her feet by grabbing the ropes and beats the count at seven, but looks fairly beaten up otherwise, extended bruises on her face and the tummy 's heavily reddened as well. Emilie barks in anger and vows to finish the fellow blonde for good immediately after the command and lands more jabs to the head. Range covers up as she remains glued to the ropes, but Emilie's rushed her attack again and ends the round with fruitless leather-bashing and leaving the ribcage to heal a little bit more. Coach Amanda Tapping is furious at the bell, Ullerup forgot what really forced the knockdown this round and is all over her girl's ear during the interval. Meanwhile Heidi walks slowly to her stool, relieved just to make it past this round.

Round 6:
Emilie's still mighty upset over letting Heidi off the hook in the fifth and she steps on her immediately after the bell, showing no concerns over the English girl's response. She throws a low jabbing sequence and follows up with a crisp uppercut that crashes off Heidi's guard, but the intensity never drops from the Canadian as she unloads another flurry of punches, lacing the local girl in the stomach and jugs, pushing her to the ropes in no time. Range tries to respond, throws some hooks to the face and nails Emilie in the nose with a wayward looking shot. Ullerup winces but charges with the low jabs, nailing Heidi in the stomach. The local girl was about to unload a wild hook herself, but moans after that gutwrencher and bends to the side, her midsection really getting a tremendous pasting from the Canadian. She tries to clinch but Emilie shoves her against the corner post with quick jabs and laces in the cheeks with another furious barrage. Heidi tries to cover up, but Ullerup's wild swings go all the way around it and cause further damage to her face and the crowd gets silenced again. Emilie in full aggression mode, literally thumps Heidi into the ground with a ruthless barrage, lands several unanswered blows and sinks the poor English further down on her knees. Heidi's rooted to the spot, unable to move away and her ducking efforts are easily countered. Her guard can barely withstand the onslaught but Ullerup's run out of gas inside the final minute and leans herself on the English girl almost sending her crashing down on the canvas. Range barely can move now as her head slumps on the shoulders and Emilie whacks her in the ribs again as ref finally steps in and pushes the Canadian blonde away. Heidi remains on the ropes, but is spared another charge from Ullerup as the bell brings an end to this round. She's a sobbing mess walking back to her stool, her face bruised and swollen and the stomach looks as red as a tomatoe now.

Round 7:
Range's on the verge of a total breakdown, her return has not gone according to plan and her aching body takes another punshment early in the seventh as Ullerup whacks her in the ribcage before more jabs to the breasts send Heidi flying to the ropes. She moans in pain while bouncing off them but unloads a wild swing as she spots Emilie leaping up to her with a follow-up attempt. Ullerup almost gets caught out but ducks underneath this shot and catches the English girl with a massive left hook in the jaw which snaps Heidi's head backwards and leaves her half-conscious on the ropes. Emile with another furious charge to the stomach, Heidi's not responding at all now, allowing the Canadian to turn it into a complete mush and the arms drop by the side moments after Emilie lands a vicious hook on the nose. That's all she wrote, folks! Range slides onto the canvas, rolling over onto her side as she was going down and the ref calls for the stretcher already!!! KO R7 Emilie Ullerup!!!

Post-fight:
Emilie in jubilant mode, jumps all across the ring, points the glove at herself and shouts repeatedly "I'm back everyone, I'm back!!!" The audience is silent at first but then starts to whistle and shout back at her. She promptly ignores both the crowd and her fallen rival. It's only one person that matters for her and BBU can be assured that the Ullerup Fight Blog has not seen it's last entry. More solace from coach Amanda Tapping who checks up with the knocked out Heidi before literally dragging away the joyful Emilie off the ring. The winning blonde remains on cloud nine even when some beer cans are thrown at her and crash off the locker room's door as coach Tapping rushed for the exit to avoid more post-fight drama. Team Canada never leaves the stage without a proper bang!

Meanwhile Heidi Range has been battered into a complete pulp and it takes best part of five minutes to escort her back to the locker room. Her comeback was well and truly thwarted by the incredibly brutal display from Ullerup and Heidi leaves the ring with an ice pack on her badly bruised and swollen face and choking on the tears of diappointement. If this bout served as a dress rehearsal before the Jorgie Porter clash, it was an utter disaster and everyone inside the KO Club knows about it.
