BEFORE: "It's going to be interesting to see," Righetti shrugs in prefight. "Kelly's not screwing around: she wants to fight welterweight, so she's going right at me - you do have to like her spirit. Of course we all have questions...is she carrying legit fighting weight, or just jug and tummy flab? She can punch at lightweight, but will her power translate? How's her stamina with the extra tonnage? You know? I mean, I myself came up from lightweight, so I know the challenges. I'm excited to find out how she handles herself." Brook bold to the point of brazen in rebuttal. "Amanda Righetti has been stopped by lightweights in the past," Kelly reminds the press. "Obviously she has raw athletic gifts that few can match, but I am not without my resouraces. Everyone is wondering how I'll compete, but I have my OWN questions about Righetti's chin and desire to withstand punishment. She's not been in with JKO aside from Landry, and that's not the test it once was. I promise you, I will be there at the end, slugging. I cannot promise you that Amanda will be there with me." Bright green bikini for Kelly; long, curly brown locks; pale blue mitts. Amanda in mauve sport topp black sport bikini bottoms; black gloves; red hair in long loose curls.

R1: Similar big-girl fighting crouches from both girls: chins tucked; rights tight to chins; left hands pumping poke from shoulders/turning over hooks from right (back) plant leg; dropping in short, heavy rights. Loud, spanking shellack sounding out when girls smite one another's lats: both lasses sitting down on shots, loading up and whacking the body in turns. Down the stretch, Amanda finally able to back Kelly up with concerted effort to bludgeon the jugs; short left hooks; shrugging, short right hands doing the damage, seeing Kelly to ropes by bell.

R2: Righetti pumping a stiff, strong poke: she jabs Kelly ropeside, squares away for processing. Brook frowning, back on cables: she starts in earmuff until the waist-punishment gets too tuff; shifts to left across the gut/right at left cheek while dipping side to side in pocket. Amanda punching from middle distance - flopping the jab out to chest, then swinging in thick-righty to lats/ribs...sounds like a baseball bat hacking away on wet clay. Amanda unconcerned with Kelly's head for the most part: Bonzo lass observing strict "kill the body" protocol early in the fight.

R3: Siege of Kelly Brook continues along ropes - Righetti in top position, getting off strong, reducing Kelly in the pocket. Brook badly battered about the hips/paunch...she sits butt-in-ropes, forms cringing face-in-gloves...Amanda short-shrugs a muscular left uppercut, picking up Kelly's head and BROOK GOES DOWN! Kelly bleak-eyed on all fours, tremble-bodied...Amanda all business to neutral corner, eyes hard. Brook beats count, shakes ref off: ON COMES RIGHETTI! Kelly in tight earmuff, gritting her teeth, sitting in ropes. Amanda: pushing top of head into Kelly's guard; pumping away right/left to midsection; pushing off to hook in behind right elbow; coming with the left uppercut off the body. Camera catches Evangeline Lilly all excited in her seat, lips pursed, throwing little arm punches in sympathy with Righetti's thumping work. Bell: Kelly's thighs trembling as she hugs her battered ribcage...Amanda looking things over with finisher's eyes. Righetti's corner during break: "Just a matter of getting the work done now, baby. Stay busy on her, ABT baby, Always Be Touchin'."

R4: Muscular demolition of Kelly continues at ropes. Brook in a variety of looks depending upon her hurt: earmuff; crossed arm...she's sluggish in the pocket, not moving her head much, just absorbing shock. Righetti squared up and busy - her head lowered to Kelly's shoulder level - left jabs spanking the guard up front to locate, then right/lefts thick about the waist/lats reducing Kelly. Righetti making liberal use of the uppercut in close: either hand; super short, shrugging shots, just muscling in punches between Kelly's mitts. Amanda working jug via thumping left hooks off her right plant leg - really spanking the puppies whenever available, visibly distressed Kelly. Brook sponging, curvy legs holding her up...ref in there quick at the bell, taking a good close look at Kelly as she's cringing back to her stool.

R5: Amanda working the pecs/chest of her foe, pounding the biceps...slamming punches on Kelly's arms lowers her guard, forcing her into a wincing right hand at left shoulder/left hand over-top right elbow look. Brook laying on ropes, getting belted: Amanda just humming away, setting a miler's pace: if Kelly won't go down, so be it - Amanda happy to just stand there and bruise the fruit. During the break, Kelly battles tears on her stool as attendants work feverishly to deep-massage both outstretched arms.

R6: More of the same from Amanda...for two minutes: down the stretch, Kelly starts to punch back. Short right uppercut off the ropes finds Amanda's chin - doesn't hurt her, but she covers up on reflex, allowing Kelly to push-forward off the ropes. Brook tucked in tight - her left shoulder bracing Amanda's forward guard...Kelly cuffing little hooks to waist; nudging left shoulder on Amanda's raised mitts; scraping close-in right uppercuts. Righetti covered up nice and tight, giving up the body shots to stay safe in the pocket...Kelly loses the round by shows combative spirit by the bell.

R7: Amanda ratchets up the work rate - jabbing Kelly to ropes; subduing the waistline via thumping right/left shellack strokes; digging in left hooks behind Kelly's right elbow, then; crowding in close to shrug in right/left uppercuts. Kelly ragdolled against ropes, loosening...by the middle minute, Righetti's jerking little uppercuts are jolting Kelly's chin behind her mitts. Rare clinch for Brook as her knees give way, obliging Amanda to wrestle her way through...Righetti engaged in squirming atop her foe,pulling down on Kelly's wrists, then clouting her about the head/shoulders in close.

R8: Kelly strong to midring, jabbing-with Righetti - both girls pound away to offending racks in heated initial negotiations. Amanda covers up earmuff, falling in: Kelly fits her for the short left uppercut as girls crowd close. Brook working - Amanda blocking inside, keeping hands at brows/elbows in. Kelly grunting as she punishes the Righetti waistline short, ripping shots - Kelly bouncing her fists off taut, thick muscle, immediately ready to redeploy leather. Good mix up and down for Brook - she's getting off on Amanda, stepping around with her midring...Righetti content to absorb to the body/let Kelly spend up some money in the 8th.

R9: Kelly's jab wins her initiative midring; Amanda showing earmuff early. Short, muscular left uppercut inside squirts between Amanda's mitts; complimentary left hook digs in behind Amanda's right elbow thereafter - Brook staying busy, bumping with her left shoulder, then stepping Amanda down. Righetti a little sluggish here, reaching in with her left arm to pry apart Kelly's guard, but eating punches in return: Brook's eyes blazing, teeth bared throughout. Midway through, short Zeta-Jones style right hand jams in over Amanda's left shoulder, finding jawline...AMANDA'S LEGS GIVE A SHIMMY! Left uppercut picks up Righetti's startled face; left hook scolds her breadbasket; blocky, short right jams to left ear and gets Righetti stumbling ropeside! Amanda covering up - crowd squealing: Kelly Brook squares away, addresses the waistline RIGHT/LEFT, then RIPS the short right uppercut from right plant-leg, picking Amanda up STOUT! Righetti's strong legs hold her up, but she's tested...it's Kelly Brook big and bad on Amanda to bell. AND BEYOND! Cheap left hook humbles Righetti's rack, parting her lips in astonishment...ref has to pull jiggling-ferocity that is Kelly Brook off her prey.

R10: Girls grind pates, bump hard left shoulders inside: it's grueling big-girl slugging at close quarters. Kelly pawing at Amanda's wrists, pulling them then down, then cuffing short-clout punches to Righetti's jawlines. Amanda jerking short uppercuts inside - all shoulders and lats powering brawny little shots: Kelly pushing in, replying in kind, tightening up her stroke nicely. Fighters lay in, pushing and walking each other around - backsides shuddering side to side wtih the effort of steppin' weight. Bell: Kelly lands an insurance right hand to Amanda's teeth late, bringing in ref in hot...Brook wins the 10th, loses the UD10 in a surprisingly competitive bout down the stretch.

AFter: No respect from Kelly Brook or assembled JKO women: they're braying at Amanda, talking big, high fiving...Kelly winning the last 3 rounds of the fight takes the edge off what had been a very one-sided contest to that point. "You know, I thought I had her wilting," a bemused Amanda Righetti says in postfight. "I was breaking her down, beating on her, pushing her closer and closer to quitting...and she just wouldn't go. I knew I had the fight big, and yeah - maybe I took my foot off the gas. Credit to Kelly: she caught a second wind and took it to me there for a bit. She's tougher than I thought she'd be. Not a lot of girls have shipped my work, then been able to mount a comeback."
