This is Camilla’s first fight in the BBU and so Gemma is a huge favorite here, but Camilla has been training hard, and she feels she can put an end to Gemma’s recent run of good form.

Camilla enters the ring first, and she looks good in a white bikini, showing off a lovely tanned body, then in comes the big breasted Gemma, red bikini for her tonight, and boy does the blonde girl look unhappy – she didn’t want to be fighting a rookie at this stage of her career!

Round 1

Both girls start like crazy in the first minute, with Camilla giving it all and surpassing Gemma, giving the blonde girl’s face a real working over and she’s hurt her to the body as well – Gemma always seems vulnerable to the belly, and that’s where Camilla’s going now, but Gemma thuds a short uppercut into her mouth, and that’s discouraged the rookie. A chastened Camilla slows down a little, and her hands are too low, surely against a big hitter like Gemma – she gets tagged with a left hook to the cheek and she's down! Camilla’s on her ass, but she gets up quickly at 4, but Gemma continues to attack, really hurting her with two more heavy left hooks, and wins the round.

Round 2

Camilla’s trying to regroup after that knockdown, and she surprises everyone in the arena in showing that she has a lot of power and now puts Gemma in her own corner, and she’s giving the more experienced girl a really good working over in there. Gemma just can’t get out of the corner, and when she clinches to stop the punishment, Camilla shows her a few tricks of her own, ripping some excellent punches into Gemma’s face, and by the end of the round Bissix is in full retreat, totally shut out in the round, with Camilla winning it from bell to bell.

Round 3

After that dominant round, Camilla slows again, maybe lacking the conditioning to give Gemma any more at this stage, and Gemma seems more than happy to take a breather, her body aching from what she just took. The wily Bissix picks up the pace as the round moves towards the final thirty seconds or so, giving Camilla the old one-two to the face, steping back, coming in again, smack, smack, then back out, catching the judges eye, doing enough to take a firly pedestrian round.

Round 4

And now the pace quickens and the two trade punches again like crazy! The opening minute or so sees the girls belting into each other at high speed, with Gemma now dictating terms and getting her opponent involved in more of a scrap, and she hurts the brunette with three scorching hooks to her jaw, then stands her up with two solid jabs, beginning to takeg advantage of Camilla's inexperience, and she’s has the girl rocking. Late in the round Camilla gets to Gemma again, as she clips her around the mouth with a series of accurate punches, now hiding a little better behind her gloves, but that’s another round to Gemma.

Round 5

What a surprise for Gemma as Luddington takes the initiative from the bell, and she has Bissix going backwards, looking to get her into that corner again to give her ribcage another good tickling. But Gemma’s a good fighter, and she won’t let it happen, turns Camilla, and now she laces into her instead, the brunette getting sorted out by Gemma’s searing jabs which have her face starting to bruise and she can’t get away from the ropes - Bissix trapping Camilla there, punching her to the face and body, giving her plenty, but Luddington refuses to go down and surprises Gemma by counterpunching hard! Bissix is taken totally by surprise, takes a good left in her mouth and she’s down. Bissix takes a count of 6, and Luddington is euphoric, celebrating by giving Gemma a saucy little four punch combo, and taking a good round.

Round 6

Camilla has gone back into her shell, and Gemma’s content for her to stay there after her experience in the fifth, so the first half of the round involves a lot of leaning in by Gemma, and a lot of pushing by Camilla, but not very much action for the fans to cheer. Towards the end of the round, which has been very slow, Luddington comes in to trade punches again, pops Bissix head back, but takes a few shots as well, and she gets hurt in the final seconds after being on top, and at the bell there’s still a slight advantage to Camilla this round.

Round 7

The two continue the action from the previous round in the first minute, and again, no one emerges as the clear aggressor in the early exchanges, both girls seeming to have difficulty in raising their energy levels, once again all the action taking place as the bell approaches, and this time Bissix gets on top of Luddington, hitting her pretty frequently with either hand to the face, giving her a little lesson for the final 40 seconds or so, and winning the round.

Round 8

Gemma comes out looking pretty confident, expecting a weakened Camilla, but Luddington is not done! The girl punches Bissix like crazy, working to her body and thumping her to the ropes, trying to open her guard up to get her to the head. Gemma’s surprised, and she’s getting totally dominated by Camilla, having to cover up, hold, clinch, just do everything she can to protect herself, but not able to throw any leather. This is totally one-sided action from Camilla here, and she wobbles Gemma with a right hand to the jaw, then another, and Gemma’s almost down again from that assault, but her legs are not failing her. Camilla is again tiring in the latter stages of the round, and she has to takes a few shots again herself, getting gher head lifted up by a couple of close quarter uppercuts, but overall that was just Camilla’s round.

Round 9

This round it’s Gemma who comes out stronger, and she lashes Luddington straight away, stunning the brunette with a brutal little flurry of punches, keeping her steady, hooks her nicely to the body, then she puts Camilla down with a left to the cheek. The brunette’s up at 7, and Gemma’s looking to finish the job right here, starting to hurt her girl to the ribs before switching her attack to the face again. But Luddington is tough, and she comes back strongly, and instead of backing off, she attacks Gemma agian, hurting the blonde with a savage attack with her left hand in particular, cutting Bissix eye in the process, and she almost puts the blonde down in a final hard battering in the final few seconds, ensuring that this round is not a 10-8 for Gemma, just 10-9.

Round 10

Two very tired girls come out for the final round, and Luddington looks like she’s given all she has now, getting knocked all down the ropes as Gemma takes her with her right hooks to the face, but she’s still fighting, and for half the round she competes with Gemma, but then she really does look exhausted, her punch throwing dries up, her body comes to a stop, and this allows Bissix to punish her – and punish her she does, just beating the brunette up as she rams her into a neutral corner, tearing punches into her face, doing what she can to knock her out, and when the bell rings, a bruised and battered Camilla more or less falls into Gemma’s arms.

And the result? Gemma Bissix beat Camilla Luddington on points – it was unanimous but close on all three cards.

Gemma will be pleased to have chalked up a win, but Camilla Luddington showed a lot here tonight – she could be a contender, no doubt about that.
