British socialite Pippa persist in fighting at welterweight, and is taking on a tough opponent in 30 year old Italian actress, who has looked impressive in sparring so far.

Elena is in the ring first, and that navy blue bikini is working hard to keep her in it tonight – Pippa wears a white onepiece again, so reminiscent of her famous bridesmaid’s outfit.

Round 1

The girls are showing each other respect in the opening seconds, exchanging a couple of jabs and nodding at each other. Elena picks up the pace, and sets Pippa’s head back with some batting punches, then she lands to the Brit’s ribs, gives her a left hook to the mouth, then backs off before Pippa can counter. The Brit glides back in to whip a few shots into Elena’s body, but the actress is quick to cover up, and to ram her hard left jab twice into Pippa’s face, which shakes the girl, and she’s well in control of this fight.

Round 2

At 5 feet 11, Elena is causing Pippa real problems with her height and reach, and she just can’t get to the older girl, who is quickly giving Pippa some punishment to her face, landing left and right hand shots around the girl’s cheeks, and then giving her a rasping shot to the belly. Pippa’s hurt, and holding, but Elena has the strength to push her away, then to give her a hard left hook to the ear, a right to the mouth, and Pippa’s on her butt, with the gorgeous blonde standing over her. Pippa gets to her feet as the count reaches 6, but Elena is after her, and catches her again with a left to the cheek, and Pippa’s getting a real lump under the right eye as we get to the bell.

Round 3

Elena’s really confident now, and she’s carrying her gloves rather low as she moves in on Pippa, the English girl maintaining her pose, and jabbing neatly from behind tight gloves, while Elena is now sending long, telegraphed hooks rather aimlessly towards Pippa’s body, and that earns her a ripping, chopping right hook to the face, and another, the tall actress having to hold to stop Pippa hitting her again, but when they break, she’s bleeding – and that looks nasty, it’s in her left eyebrow, giving Pippa a target, which she hits a couple of times in quick succession, making Elena defend, cover up, clinch, just do what she has to, to get through the round, and Pippa’s back in the fight.

Round 4

The action’s getting quicker now, with Pippa popping some good shots into Elena’s face, and the Italian, whilst protecting the left side of her face, is still finding some good right hand punches, keeping at a distance to help deter the Brit, anxious not to make any mistakes. Pippa is stalking the tall actress, and she closes her down, cuts down the ring, then gives her the one-two to her face, making Elena go back still further, then she’s got her on the ropes, and works her to the body – Elena fights her way off, smacking some good straight punches into Pippa’s face, but the brunette did enough to nick that round back too.

Round 5

Pippa attacks Elena at the outset, but this time Elena’s moving forwards, too, and she hits the English girl several times without reply, now making her cover up. Pippa jars Elena’s head back when they resume after the referee breaks them, then raps her damaged eye, but gets careless, and she’s hurt, she took a heavy punch to the ribs, her gloves drop, and Elena punches her around the eyes, her gloves smacking down into the brunette’s face as she stoops, and now she’s cut as well, right across the bridge of her nose, and now both girls are clinching, with Elena re-establishing her advantage.

Round 6

Into the second half of the fight, and both girls are tiring, but Elena starts the round better, again cracking Pippa’s defence open with a straight right through her gloves, the shorter girl finding it hard to focus, and taking another soon afterwards, then, as Elena closes in to try to hurt her some more, Pippa fights back, slamming the actress’s face to the left, then to the right, stuns her with a hard hook on that damaged eyebrow, then puts her on the canvas with well-timed left hook to the mouth, and Elena looks shabby when she gets to her feet at 7, allowing Pippa to give her another few shots, and she may even be cut again – it’s her left eye again, this time on her cheekbone, and that’s going to be tough to defend. Pippa bangs two good right hooks right on the money, too, and Elena’s buckling at the bell.

Round 7

Still the girls are getting stuck in, no respite sought, and it’s Pippa who is looking the more likely to win this fight now, the Brit sending some good shots into Elena’s body this time as the Italian defends her poor face, with her left eye badly messed up. Elena’s still mobile, still doing her best not to get trapped on the ropes, and, when she does run out of room in a neutral corner, she smacks her right glove into Pippa’s face, and again, then, certain the English girl can’t hit her back from there, she bangs her in the ribs with her left, then takes her to the mouth with her left, and she’s out of trouble. She can’t run forever, though, and when Pippa catches up with her again, she hurts her with some good belly punches, then sends her skidding to the ropes with a sharp uppercut, and is looking ready to hurt her again when the round ends.

Round 8

Elena is slow around the ring in the early seconds, and that gives Pippa time to find her out again, and she gets her in the body again, the Italian wobbles a little, then Pippa floors her with a left uppercut, which has the actress on her backside, only taking a count of 5, though, and she fights back yet again, bravely taking the fight to Pippa, even though her sight is becoming impaired, and she sends the English girl backwards with a vicious two fisted attack which has Pippa clinching to stay on her feet, and Elena trying to push her away. The girls swap hooks after the referee has parted them again, with Pippa getting the better of the exchange, and Elena ends the round backed up to the ropes, getting hurt with Pippa’s left hooks.

Round 9

Elena takes the fight to Pippa again, but the brunette is able to sidestep her, and give her a battering around the head, so that, despite needing to attack, Elena must defend, her gloves upside her head, and she’s not offering too much as Pippa starts to unload – she’s looking for the knockout blow, but can’t find it. Both girls are crouching, and Pippa smacks her left uppercut into Elena’s jaw – up comes her head, but she stays as upright as she was before, although she’s having to take some heavy punishment o her body as the round draws to a close, her walk back to her corner a very deliberate one.

Round 10

This has been a hard fight, but a fair one, and the girls touch gloves as the round begins. Elena must knock Pippa out if she is to win, but she’s getting pinged again to start with, and spends the first minute or so on the back foot, while Pippa works some good punches into her face. Elena is on the ropes as the round moves into the second half, Pippa looking the more likely to achieve the knockout as she swarms in – but the Italian stands tall and smashes left hooks and right hooks into Pippa’s face, splits her nose open still further, and puts her down with a right hook. Pippa scrambles to her feet at 8, but she’s on bambi legs, and just can’t keep away from Elena’s hammering hooks, a left one rocking her head back, shaking her up, and another right hook drops her to all fours, again for a count of 8. Fifteen seconds left in the round, and Elena rips punches into the exhausted Pippa, who’s laying back against the ropes, almost taken out with a left to the mouth, and barely conscious at the bell.

Despite that final round battering, Pippa Middleton gets the decision on points over Elena Santarelli.

The girls embrace after the verdict, but it may not be over between these two, and fightfans would be happy to watch a rematch.
