Following a successful response to the Flyweight Invitational event a fortnight ago (which resulted in Sylvie van der Vaart signing a high-profile deal with Foxfire Atlantic Boxing), the Lioness Club stable wishes to build the positive momentum and has arranged another set of fights to take place in the KO Club, North London, this time held in the bantamweight division.

Similar to the flyweights, two members of the Lioness Club will be in action, Pilar Rubio and Charlotte Church being the chosen ones. The guest contingent includes the experienced duo of Amy Nuttall (Double A Boxing) and Kym Marsh (Kear's Kats), the long-time absent Kelly Reilly (Girls Friday) and Clemence Poesy (Tech Unlimited Europe), the hotshot blonde from Sweden, Helena Mattsson and making her BBU debut tonight, Sara Kavanagh (PageThrees).

Sara Kavanagh has been asked to join the card after fellow stablemate Rhian Sugden was chosen to take part in the upcoming Lioness Club vs PageThrees event which will be held on March 4th.

Lioness Club Bantamweight Invitational card will go through as followed:

Pilar Rubio (Lioness Club, 1-2, 1 KO) vs Kelly Reilly (Girls Friday, 0-2)

Amy Nuttall (Double A Boxing, 6-3, 6 KO) vs Sara Kavanagh (PageThrees, Debut)

Helena Mattsson (unmanaged, 1-1, 1 KO) vs Kym Marsh (Kear's Kats, 4-2, 4 KO)

Main Event: Charlotte Church (Lioness Club, 0-5 FCBA, 2-1, 2 KO BBU) vs Clemence Poesy (Tech Unlimited Europe, 0-1)

On the behalf of everyone in the KO Club, Barnet we wish you a good night of fights and let's get the action started!

With regards,

Kate Garraway
Director of Communications
Lioness Club, North London
