BEFORE:

"Swan's a step down in class for me," says Cat. "She's not as big or strong as Sobieski, and she's not as good as Swanepoel, and I gave both of them all they wanted. Serinda's about to find out that I'm not just HOTTER, I'm BETTER."

"This is pretty simple," says a smiling Serinda. "I stretched Swanepoel. And Candice beat Deeley. Do the math."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, Jenny O'Dell, Pam Anderson and Tess Valmore, and that's Ted Nugent and 'Cat Scratch Fever', and here comes Cat Deeley!"

Pam: "Deeley on a bit of a losing streak, but she's been put in tough. Rohm, Swanepoel, and Sobieski. No soft touches in there."

O'Dell: "Cat into the ring, helped off with the robe. Niiiccceee black two-piece..."

Tess: "The disrobe's going to be a pretty good contest in this one..."

O'Dell: "Most certainly IS, because that's Jimi Hendrix and 'Foxy Lady' you hear, and here comes Serinda Swan!"

Pam: "Swan into the ring, helped off with the robe, and there's that red number she favors..."

O'Dell: "From the crowd reaction to the two ladies, you could have sold this arena out for the disrobe. But, as an added treat, we're going to have a fight. Tess is on record favoring Swan. How about you, Pam?"

Pam: "You HAVE to make her the favorite. She's won nine of ten and she's coming off a TKO of Kelly Rowland. Would I be shocked if Deeley wins? No, because she can BOX. But, I expect Swan to get the job done."

O'Dell: "There's the bell for the first, and Deeley getting off early, using that looonnngg left jab to keep Swan at bay, popping that left glove out, leaving Serinda out of range, fitting in some right hands as Swan tries to work forward."

Pam: "Deeley's got a couple of inches on Swan, and some resultant reach, she's making good use of it."

O'Dell: "This is most certainly the fight Cat wants. She's slick and long and she's using those advantages here, punching with a good deal of accuracy and scoring well."

Pam: "She's not hurting Serinda, but she's controlling her right now, no question."

O'Dell: "Swan unable to negotiate distance as the bell rings to end the first, and a very good round for Cat."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "On to the second, and Cat back to working behind the left hand. Serinda now getting the guard up, looking to bob and work past Cat's glove. Deeley a nice combination...AND DOWN GOES CAT!"

Pam: "PRETTY right hand counter by Swan! A bridge too far for Cat in that combo."

O'Dell: "Cat knocked to her rump, taking a few seconds as the referee's count reaches five, six, now getting to her feet at seven. She'll take the mandatory and the referee will let it continue."

Pam: "Swan pressuring, but Cat tying her up, forcing a break, gettring some distance and working the jab again."

O'Dell: "Swan having more success getting inside it now, hooking body, going back upstairs. Deeley firing back, giving almost as good as she's getting in these exchanges."

Pam: "She's made a nice recovery from the knockdown."

O'Dell: "Certainly has. Fighting back hard, denying Swan a clean up, here, but Serinda's scoring too. Nice, even exchange at the bell!"

Pam: "Let's check the replay and I'll explain what I meant by 'a bridge too far.' Cat lands a nice left jab, follows with a good right hand, then goes left hook. And Swan saw that one coming and countered with a blistering right hand that put Cat on her rear end. One punch too many, and it's got Swan up 19-18 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back to live action and Deeley again looking to work the jab. Swan all feet now, bobbing, weaving, showing angles, presenting a moving target."

Pam: "Serinda showing that quickness and athleticism that makes her dangerous. Cat slick, putting her stuff together well, but Serinda not letting her get off clean..."

O'Dell: "And a NICE combination from Swan, landed a couple of good, solid shots!"

Pam: "This is what I'm talking about, Jenny-O. Cat just as busy as Serinda. Boxing very well, but Swan too quick for her to range in on. Serinda's having a lot fewer problems finding the target. Getting off and then not being there for the receipt."

O'Dell: "Swan still moving at the bell, landing a nice left-right to finish a solid round."

Tess: "I've got it 29-27, Pam..."

Pam: "That's what my card says, too."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Into the fourth now, and Swan upping the pressure on Deeley. Cat trying to jab for space, but Serinda continues to work her way past Deeley's defenses and land good, solid stuff."

Pam: "Cat needs to find an answer, Jenny. Serinda's taking it to her."

O'Dell: "Swan double-taps the jab, slips a right hand, hooks body with a left...AND STAGGERS DEELEY WITH A RIGHT HOOK! CAT STUMBLES BACKWARD, TAKES A HARD LEFT...AND A BIG RIGHT AND DOWN SHE GOES!"

Pam: "Hook did some damage but that straight right hand was NASTY."

O'Dell: "Swan to a neutral corner. Referee's count at five, six, seven, eight...Deeley beats it! She'll take the mandatory. And the referee going to let it continue. And ON comes Serinda. Swan smelling blood in the water! Backs up Deeley into the ropes and goes to work downstairs! Swan ripping hooks to the body, brings down the guard, and snaps back Cat's head with an uppercut to the chin! Deeley tying up, getting a break, pops a couple of jabs, Swan walks through and lands a solid combination!"

Pam: "Deeley just trying to survive right now. Swan being patient and busy, looking for the shot that will end it."

O'Dell: "Cat trying to deny. Wants to get to the fifth. Tying up again, forcing another break. Swan with a left-right and there's the bell!"

Tess: "Gutty stuff from Cat."

Pam: "Sure was. She's in a hole, 39-35, but she's still in the fight."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Round five is underway and Serinda Swan right back to the offensive, looking to put a game Cat Deeley away. Swan forcing the action, showing that hand speed and movement, penetrating Cat's defenses, landing good shots with both hands to the head and body."

Pam: "If nothing changes here, ladies, you can look back to that second round as the key, when Swan started to use her quickness to take over the fight."

O'Dell: "And she's done exactly that, Pam, controlling the action more and more with each round. She's battering Deeley here. Forcing her to cover up. Driving her backward, making her take."

Tess: "Deeley's game, though. Won't punk."

O'Dell: "Swan just keeps lobbing shells home, though, crippling Deeley amidships. Slowing her down, backing her up, breaking down her defenses. This is brutal, clinical stuff, ladies."

Pam: "Deeley still fighting back, though, Jenny-O. Looking for one big one that can change the dynamic."

O'Dell: "Won't find it in the fifth. There's the bell, and Swan's lead swells further."

Pam: "49-44. Swan could almost put this thing on cruise control. But I don't think that's the game plan."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth of a scheduled ten underway and Swan walks through a jab and bangs to the body, then rocks Deeley with a right-left-right! Cat stung, covering up. Swan splits the gloves with a right hand! Again! Again!"

Pam: "Deeley's hurt! This is target practice! Ref needs to get IN there!"

O'Dell: "Cat backed against the ropes in a tight guard. Swan banging at her gloves. Hooking the side of the head. Serinda RIPS a pair of hooks to the midsection, bunching Cat up...SNAPS THE HEAD BACK WITH AN UPPERCUT! DEELEY SLUMPING BACK INTO THE ROPES...IT'S OVER! REFEREE SHOVES BETWEEN THE FIGHTERS AND WAIVES IT OFF!"

Pam: "Not a second too soon!"

O'Dell: "AND YOUR WINNER BY TKO6, SERINDA SWAN!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "Serinda, that was a pretty impressive performance tonight against a girl who went the distance with Swanepoel and gave Lis Rohm all she wanted..."

Serinda: "You know, Tess, I hear a lot of discussion about who Front Street's top lightweight is, and I have one thing to say after what you all just saw. Any questions?"
