The only direct rematch of the October's Downunder Boxing vs Lioness Club event comes in the seventh bout with Czech model Karolina Kurkova facing the Australian model, former Miss Universe and the most decorated fighter in the now-defunct AWUBA history, Jennifer Hawkins. The first bout between these two ended with Kurkova stopping Hawkins in the seventh round and there are huge expectations from the Aussie stable to avenge that loss and secure the overall win in the rematch event which the Dowunder currently leads 4-2 after with two bouts remaining.

Since losing to Kurkova back in October, Hawkins knocked out Erin McNaught in the January ACB PPV while the Czech model had several bouts during that period, losing her latest one to date, against another Australian eye-catcher Krystal Forscutt. She opens her 2012 schedule with tonight's contest, but has lined up a high-profile bout with FCBA veteran Mary-Elizabeth Winstead already during the American's BBU tour next month.

Both women enter the ring looking very focused but there's little love lost between them as they keep staring at each other, looking to complete the demolition job and add further havoc to tonight's brutal display of boxing which has seen no less then three girls on their way to extended medical evaluation already. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Aussie model moves in early on her Czech foe, trying to land an impressive combo as quickly as she did against McNaught, but a jabbing sequence crashes off Kurkova's gloves and the local girl responds with a nasty jab to the ribcage forcing Hawkins back. Lots of faked punches follow, both girls seize each other up as Karolina works some single jabs to the chest and ducks around Jennfier's menacing hooks. Hawkins steps up again, unloads another fine combination to the midsection and lands it clean but Kurkova rocks her with a solid hook to the side of the head. Jennifer drives forward though, almost headbutts the European in the jaw as she was going through and Karolina nails her in the ribcage with a frantic hook, but gets clinches and pushes to the ropes as Hawkins lands some low jabs to the stomach herself. Both girls struggle along the ropes and the ref steps in, shoves the Aussie blonde away. Kurkova immediately leaps forward, looks to catch her in the face, but it's Hawkins' guard now holding firm and wild slaps from Kurkova are fruitless, she lands them on the arms and cannot find anything solid on the face. She backs away and the bell sounds moments later before Hawkins can react herself.

Round 2:
Girls circle around the ring at the start of the second but it's Hawkins eventually coming forward with more mean intentions first. She leaps back and forth, works some low jabs to the ribcage, but Kurkova covers up well, responding with hooks to the face. Those are blocked though as Hawkins looks impressive on her feet, walking around the Czech model's shots and keeps her focus all the way through. Kurkova with more aggression later in the round, moves quicker across the canvas, jabs with more intensity and lands single shots on Jennifer's midsection who in turn unleashes some big hooks, failing to connect by the narrowest of margins. One senses if any of those landed, Karolina would have been in deep trouble, but she avoids those menacing shots all the way until the bell. The fight has struggled to ignite major fireworks so far, both girls clearly wary of the threat coming from the opposite side and the incredible knockout which Hawkins send McNaught to sleep must be playing in Kurkova's mind.

Round 3:
Jennifer leaps up to her rival straight away and lands a low combo on the ribs, then follows up with a low uppercut to the breasts and throws another left hook to the face, grazing Karolina's cheek in the proccess. Kurkova tries to respond, lands a wayward hook in the arms and Hawkins nails her in the ribs repeatedly with a vicious combo and backs the Czech model to the ropes. Karolina looks to keep the distance, but gets trapped in the corner, coming second best to the Aussie's agility and Hawkins opens up from both wings, peppers the local girl with a series of jabs to the guts, works around the face too, but can't break through the guard. She leans on the Czech, wants to push her even further in the ropes and continues to unload single jabs to the midsection. Kurkova ducks and weaves on her feet, absorbs a lot of strikes and survives this charge as Hawkins drops the intensity and forces a clinch where she nonetherless tries to land some jabs in the ribcage. Kurkova's hardly impressed, scoffs right in her ear and wraps her arms around the Aussie's neck, forcing the ref to step in and separate them. Karolina sidesteps to the left and moves away from Jennifer's big hook aimed at her face before countering from the flank and landing a couple of jabs to the breasts and stepping back to center of the ring for good soon afterwards. Hawkins looks upset by the outcome of this struggle but she retreats herself as well and both girls remain separated until the bell.

Round 4:
Neither coach Wild nor Visser look very concerned during the interval as the fight still hasn't shifted in favor of one of the girls, but Kurkova comes out blazing off her stool in the fourth, cross-hooking through Hawkins' guard and snapping her head a couple of times before the Aussie can jump away into safety. Crowd's reaction increases as Karolina jumps after the former Miss Universe with a flying hook to the face and Jennifer weaves around the ropes, blocks a low jabbing attempt and counters with sinngle jabs, but cannot land them clean as she's hopping backwards in the proccess. Kurkova tries to close the distance even more, throws more hooks to the head and clips her rival's cheeks, but Jennifer cricles back to the opposite side of the ring while coach Gina Wild screams at Karolina to take it easy and don't wear herself out with unneccessary leaps all across the ring. Kurkova stops in her tracks, eyeballs the Aussie girl for a moment but that's enough for Hawkins who squares up to her and lands some low jabs to the stomach and grazes her chin with a half-uppercut. Kurkova clearly stunned, shouldn't have stopped with the harrassement and coach Wild looks equally shocked by Jennifer's unexpected burst and the round ends with Hawkins pummelling her rival along the ropes, Karolina covered behind her gloves and not offering much response.

Round 5:
Furious exchange of words between Kurkova and coach Wild during the interval. The Czech model gets up from her stool early, looking disgusted and Jennifer just smiles back at her own coach and jumps straight after Kurkova to start the fifth. Couple of early hooks crash off the guard though and Karolina drives low, smacks the Aussie model in the stomach before unloading a massive uppercut to the jaw! Hawkins' head snaps back and she wobbles backwards, raising her gloves even more, but Karolina whacks her in the stomach repeatedly, forcing a frantic weaving from the Aussie. Coach Tapping begins to shout at her girl, but to no avail, Karolina with a cross-hooking combo splits Jennifer's gloves and rocks her with a massive right hook. Hawkins falls to the ropes with a loud moan and ducks underneath another flying hook as she looks for a clinch. Karolina laces her in the back, throws more low jabs in the ribs, but cannot land anything solid, despite Jennifer swaying on her feet. She waits for the Aussie to raise her head again, but Hawkins desperately clinches around the waist and forces the ref to step in. Lucky break for the Downunder faithful! Karolina immediately starts jabbing after the command, working around Hawkins' face, but the Aussie weaves around those shots well and throws a response with single jabs to the midsection. She lowers her left glove too much though and Kurkova nails her in the breasts with a mammoth hook, taking some air out of her lungs in the proccess. Jennfier leans back on the ropes, ducks back and forth with her torso and frustrates the local girl even more as Karolina cannot connect with her face, reverts to a series single shots to the midsection. Another chance goes begging for the Czech blonde and she shakes her head at the bell while Jennifer still keeps the emotions in tact.

Round 6:
The fight is still anyone's for the taking and both girls step forward immediately at the start of the sixth, throwing simultaneous right hooks. Karolina was fractionally faster in execution, goes all the way around her rival's left arm and catches her in the cheek with a belter of a shot! Jennifer wobbles heavily and her effort only grazes Kurkova in the ear as the Czech blonde follows up with a left hook killer! That's landed clean on the eye and Hawkins moans in pain but has no time to respond as she only covers up and is rooted to the spot; victim of a jabbing sequence to the guts and another fine uppercut from the charging Karolina. Jennifer sways on her legs, stumbles backwards and bends to the left, miraculously avoiding another right hook to the mouth! Kurkova on fire now, closes the distance and pummels the Aussie model in the ribcage, throws more vicious shots to the face as Hawkins sinks on her knees, covering up in despair. No good! Cross-hooking combo breaks through the gloves and catches the aching Miss Universe in the mouth, More head-snapping action from Kurkova who turns on the screw, works the high-tempo, buries her foe under a barrage of shots. Jennifer bravely stays on her feet, but just takes all the punishment and answers with nothing on her own. Karolina pins her along the ropes, continues the onslaught, more jabs to the midsection and yet another hooking combo to the face. Relentless pounding from the Czech model and the crowd goes wild!!! But she can't send the Aussie down and drops the intensity in dying moments of the round, just throws single jabs to the flesh and finally backs away breathing heavily herself. Hawkins stumbles to the side, her face badly swollen with all that pounding she took there, but gamely walks back to her stool after the bell as Karolina tracks her down with deadly looking eyes to check on the damage she's inflicted.

Round 7:
Jennifer slumps on her stool and immediately bends down, visibly feeling the effects of that previous round onslaught. Coach Nikki Visser's all over her ear, but there's little response from Hawkins while Karolina's up in the opposite corner, looking mighty confident and ready to dish out more punishment. Off we go into the seventh and Jennifer looks sluggish and slow on her feet, Karolina squares up to her immediately and throws more vicious jabs to the face, grazing the Aussie's cheeks but missing a big uppercut as Hawkins jumped back to the ropes in the last second. Kurkova continues harrassing her though, leaps forward with more flying hooks but Jennifer's firmly on the back foot, dances around the ropes, tries to outmanouver her Czech rival and manages to keep the distance for a while before Karolina catches her in the brow ridge with a single left jab. Hawkins winces a bit, slows her moves and there's Kurkova right up to he again; unloads couple of low hooks, but has them blocked by the Australian's arms and finally a decent response from Jennifer, whacks the local girl with a big left hook and follows up with a right to the midsection. Karolina jumps away, circles back but after a brief pause, moves forward again. Hawkins with a jabbing sequence, grazes her midsection before jumping to the ropes again as Kurkova flies with more hooks to the face. She can't connect with Hawkins' flesh though and retreats back to center of the ring, leaving the Aussie leaned on the ropes at the bell.

Round 8:
Karolina on the move; whacks a couple of slaps to the midsection, has Hawkins wincing in pain as a result, but the Aussie throws some hooks on her own as she looks to stop the rout against her. Kurkova dances around those shots and counters with a right hook to the ribcage. Hawkins moans even louder and quickly gets backed against the ropes with another sequence to the breasts. She's too slow to match Karolina's pace, looks sluggish with every attempt as Kurkova nails her in the cheek with a single jab, having exposed her crumbling guard. Jennfier leans against the ropes, allows the Czech rival to step in on her and throw more punches to the midsection with occassional hooks to the head. She tries to duck and weave in avoidance, but looks to struggle physically now as absorbs more punishment and sinks further down on her knees. Karolina's still in fine shape, works around her face with more single jabs and it's a repeated head-snapping experience for Hawkins. Kurkova wears her out with every second and seems to enjoy this as she barks in delight in between shots. No resistance from poor Jennifer in the last minute, she can barely hold her gloves high enough to avoid a potential haymaker while Kurkova controls the situation, reverts to single punches, going through the Aussie's guard with more then half of them. "Finish her, finish her".. the audience chants vividly and coach Gina Wild also looks calm in her corner. Karolina with a big smile on her face late in the round, just bashes the Aussie's face into a swollen mess and at the bell, Hawkins cannot make it back to the stool on her own, grabs the ropes and moves along until she slumps down on her knees short of the mark. Cutmen rush for help and drag the hapless model onto the stool but Nikki Visser looks devastated as Jennifer's face has been swollen to the extreme, her left eye almost completely shut down and the cutmen have their hands full, working on the former Miss Universe before the ninth.

Round 9:
Kurkova didn't even bother to sit down during the interval, bunny hops around the ring and glances over at Hawkins wondering whether the Aussie makes it back from her stool. Many people in the audience are surprised, but she actually does, her left eye looking particulary bad with extensive swelling and Karolina wastes little time working on it; throws straight jabs around the brow ridge, snapping Hawkins' head in the proccess. Jennifer's barely walking around the ring now, just waits on Karolina to make her move and it's a practice session in the gym for the Czech model now, fakes a couple of low jabs, has the Aussie model almost tripping over her own feet in avoidance before catching her in the left eye with a right hook! DOWN GOES HAWKINS flat on her back, legs shoot up in the air as she falls on the side!!! Crowd goes ballistic as Karolina raises her right glove and begins to wave joyfully. Ref starts the count, but Karolina yells at him "The b###h ain't getting up, you fool!". Hawkins in a hapless state of misery, gets up to sit on her backside at six and wants to push herself back on her feet. but wobbles and falls down again!! She cannot beat the count and bursts into spasms, hiding the face in her gloves as she's flat on her back at ten!!! KO R9 Karolina Kurkova in destructive fashion!!!

Post-fight:
Karolina walks around her fallen rival and enjoys the sight of Hawkins crying her eyes out in agony. After relishing it for few moments, she waves her hand in disgust and turns away to embrace the celebrating corwd. She grabs the mic away from the ring announcer and shouts to the audience "She's done, folks!!!" cheers become even louder after this and Kurkova continues with her speech "As much as I enjoyed beating Jennifer Hawkins into a pulp... AGAIN... let me tell you, it's only a rehearsal before the real test... you all should have heard about it by now.. yup, sweet Mary Winstead has come to Britain and well, if this doesn't serve as a statement, I don't know what else is... I'm ready to take Winstead next month and whip her skinny ass with that white belt she's brought with her!!! Crowd has gone mental and one feels the big expectations there are in Barnet regarding the upcoming clash. Karolina gives the mic back to the announcer, blows few kisses to the crowd and as she witnesses Hawkins still being treated on the canvas, scoffs in anger "This trash is still here? Dump her in the nearest pile of garbage on your way out!".

Meanwhile there's silence in the Downunder corner, coach Nikki Visser looks nervous before the final bout of the event as the overall win has't been secured yet, but is relieved when the medics give the thumbs up on Jennifer Hawkins. The Aussie model is assisted to her stool, still sobbing and blubbering in wake of the horrific beatdown she experienced. Some of the people sitting close to the ring almost feel sorry for her. Hawkins' left eye is completely shut down and her entire face swollen badly. One believes she won't be doing any modelling for another couple of weeks. Indeed the cutmen assist her to the locker room as Jennifer shows no signs of being able to make it back there on her own. That's second loss against Karolina Kurkova for the former Miss Universe. Will she come back for a third one in the future? Some tips from Krystal Forscutt seem neccessary if she's gonna to finally break the losing streak against the fellow model.
