Rachael happy to get into the mix again with her new stable, but also bitter towards her previous management: "I don't like how TU treated me back in 2005. I was winning big, even gave them a victory over BSE in the stable war, but Tech had other plans -he wanted Ledoyen in the stable, and he got her. I was fired, Virginie went in. Not surprisingly, poor Naomi Watts was fired one year later. Fortunately, I am now in a far better stable -lots of competition, but no one is the pampered girl. Emma is at TU, and so she will lose to me. Besides, I will do it as a favor to her: she shouldn't trust her management!”
Emma untouched by her rival's statement, at least in her outer shell: "I really don't know what Rachael is talking about -I kicked Virginie back to Europe, right? I am the flyweight star there, and I will prove it with a solid victory against an aging veteran like Cook. Look, she won three fights in the last six years- I don't think she has a lot left, right?”

Rachael in her famous baby blue cashmere top and bottoms; blue gloves; Emma in grey sport top and bottoms, black gloves.

R1. Cook starts the assault, pushing Emma to the ropes, working her body there with close range punches. Pat/pat, leather finds Emma's gloves but also her torso and finally her breast. Emma shocked, tries to push Rachael away but Cook holds ground steadily, pouring more leather on the stupefied youngster. Emma covers her ears, slides sideways to avoid further punishment, but it's all Cook's round. Rachael satisfied -a solid round for the veteran.

R2. Emma dances around, trying to avoid Rachael's assault this time, but the American fighter controls her with the jab, pushes her with the shoulder, finally pinning her to the ropes again. Emma frustrated, butt-in-ropes, sucking up punishment to the body. She covers her earmuffs, elbows stopping most of the punches sent to her breast, but she's basically hanging in there, trying to find an answer to Rachael's onslaught. But when she tries to react, Cook answers in rhymes, pounding those perky breasts of Emma. Watson gets back to covering, avoid more punishment but losing another round.

R3. Emma touched hard in the previous rounds, but still defiant in her attitude; Rachael using her jab once more to try to send Emma backwards, but this time the young Brit finds the countermeasure. Emma able to duck a couple of Cook's rights, fakes a right cross and then scores with the left hook! Rachael stupefied, takes a step back but Emma follows up -one of her rights clearly crashes onto Rachael's right cheek, sending the brunette reeling on her feet. Emma now more confident, gets on the inside and starts to trade punches with Cook -girls going at each other with all of their pride, not willing to let the other one have an edge on the crazy slugfest. Emma get s the round, showing she can score from the inside and compete with Cook.

R4. Emma's confidence builds in. Watson uses her legs to support her punches, then steps back and sideways to disappear from Rachael's range. Cook hits air often now, chases Watson to dig points but it's her now to be touched hard! Rachael finds herself at the ropes, hands on her earmuffs AND WATSON GOES FOR THE CASHMERE! Rachael unable to protect her breast; Emma digging in for a few seconds, causing yells of pain in the assaulted veteran. Another nice round for Emma who evens up the fight.

R5. Freshness plays a factor now -Emma visibly more active than Rachael, mitts on her temples, coming forward to pepper Rach's body, stepping back as needed but then keeping the pressure for the first minute. Cook stuck on the defensive in this round, while Emma keeps the attack alive. And as Rachael backs up a little, Emma digs for more, finally shaking the veteran with combos to the body. Cook able to hit Watson, but not as consistently as the young Brit in this round. Final moments -Cook with her back on the ropes, clinching on Emma to stop the assault.

R6. Cook shows she's got character -after three rounds of suffering, she comes back determined to stop her younger foe's punching spree. Cook finally getting the jab in action again, but then she's quick to get closer to Emma AND COOK POURS IN! Emma hit by Cook's right hook, repeatedly, then by a series of uppercut to the chest, she opens her guard to react and Cook punishes her! Short left hook reaches Emma's face, and the YOUNG BLONDE IS DOWN! Watson painting, breathing hard, as the veteran scores the first knock-down of the night, but still not discouraged. Watson up quickly, she immediately tries to get to Rach but the brunette is now in charge. Emma unable to find Cook anymore -a few punches hit nothing but air- and she clearly gets frustrated in this round. Cook working with the shoulders and the body as in the first two rounds, she's able to press Watson at the ropes once again and HERE COME THE UPPERCUTS! Watson exposed here, eats a couple of rights to the chin AND SHE GOES DOWN AGAIN! Poor Emma crashes sideways, then goes down on all fours. She wakes up at eight, but she's shaken and manages to run away for the remaining seconds. Cook all smiles, Watson almost humbled here -big 10-7 for the brunette who gets the lead again!

R7. Time for Cook to capitalize, but Emma does not cooperate -the young Brit decides to dance around her opponent for a good bit of the first minute, forcing her to chase. Finally, Emma stops, waits for Rach in the middle of the ring and then starts her assault. Quickness is on Emma's side -she takes the older brunette by surprise, with a right cross that makes Rachael drop her guard followed by a right/right/left/right combo to the head AND RACHAEL GOES DOWN! Brunette hit hard, she tilts sideways and crumbles on her knees! Cook slow to rise -she is taking her time to get some oxygen here. Eventually, Cook is back on her feet, but she seems slower and less focused. Watson able to get inside, scoring points with combos to the body -Rachael countering with her right hook, but not countering enough to steal the round.

R8. Cook slow to get off her stool -brunette clearly tired and annoyed by the insolence of her younger opponent. Emma still fresh on her legs, she challenges Rachael to a glorious slugfest in the middle of the round. Emma more precise, more dynamic here -Rachael forced to backpedal, hit repeatedly by Emma's punches to the body. And when Cook hits the ropes with her butt, Emma starts pouring leather on her torso! Rachael trapped there, unable to escape, suffering combos from Emma, but bravely trying to fight her way out with quick, short right hooks to the face. Emma upbeat as she works at Rach's body, she's getting the veteran on the defensive now. Trapped, Cook tries to cover with her mitts and elbows, but Emma's steady pressure is getting results. Rachael slowly opens up as punches starts to tag her breast, letting go several ‘ouch' of pain. And then Emma carves her way up to Rach's head, pouring more and more punches. Poor Rachael just tries to cover -ineffectively- and gets hit repeatedly, head lolling on her right shoulder, legs bending a little and butt sitting on the ropes AND THE REF STEPS IN! Cook feebly protesting as the ref cradles her to safety; Emma jubilant, tears of joy staining her pretty face -she just stopped RLC via TKO8!

AFTER. Good show between two competitive fighters here -Emma managed to use her legs to slow down Rachael as needed, and then proved she can punch. Cook always dangerous, she suffered a late stoppage but almost floored Emma in the middle rounds. "She's a tough customer to deal with, I have to admit it -Emma would say in her post fight interview- She fought bravely, and almost caught me by surprise. She's got a lot of power, and she's a clever fighter. You know, she's far better than Virginie, if you ask me. But you see, I am the new, upcoming face of the division. I am growing up as a fighter, and improving my skills with every bout -tremendously. Think about Portman -she was hopeless in the first years of fighting, and now she's on top of the division. I started far better than Nat, and it will take me just a few more fights to crack into the elite. Mark my words!”
