At 41 years old, Tamzin makes her debut at Welterweight against the former BBU Weleterweight champion, Michelle Ryan, a girl some 14 years younger, but vastly more experienced in the ring, and she may well have been given a hard debut fight here tonight.

Tamzin’s first into the ring – green bikini – nice! She’s still a head turner, this woman! Here’s Michelle to join her – royal blue bikini, and this girl scrubs up well, too.

Round 1

Michelle starts the quicker of the two and she’s got the rhythm going here, rapping left, right into Tamzin’s face and the older girl needs to tighten up or take a beating, and now she’s stepping backwards, getting tagged by Michelle’s rapid left jab, and her face is looking a little red already, Michelle’s leather taking it’s toll. The clock’s ticking down, and Tamzin starts to stage a comeback, getting Michelle with a good left, right combo there, and she’s moving more freely now, ending the round by belting Ryan’s right cheek nice and hard with a left cross.

Round 2

Tamzin builds on the encouragement she got at the end of the first round, and she lands a good left hand to Michelle’s body, needing to sap the younger girl’s energy early if she can, and she clearly hurts her with a right to the belly, Michelle gasping and clinching the 41 year old. The girls are parted, Michelle tries to throw an early shot at Tamzin’s face, but the blonde beats her to the punch, cracking a left hook on her jaw which puts her on her butt to take a 7 count. Ryan looks embarrassed rather than hurt, and does what she can to limit the damage to her pride, but she takes three good punches to her face in the closing seconds, and seems glad to hear the nbell.

Round 3

Tamzin again starts the round aggressively, and she pings Michelle’s jaw with a couple of stinging shots, which put the younger girl on the backfoot, so Tamzin closes in when she takes to the ropes. That brings her right into Michelle’s range though, and the younger girl is taking advantage, nailing Tamzin to the body with two, three hefty punches, and turning her around, pushing her against the ropes. Tamzin is in a little trouble by the end of the round, with Michelle picking her off with crisp jabs, the older girl’s head beginning to bob around.

Round 4

Michelle builds on what she did in the third, and starts on Tamzin immediately, clubbing her to the head with a succession of punches to put the blonde on a backwards trajectory, then whistling a hard right hook into her body, taking the wind out of her. Michelle can almost pick her spot now, and she hits Tamzin to the mouth with two good left hands, slams a right hook into her cheek, and the blonde goes down hard, nose dribbling a little blood as she takes a 7 count. Tamzin’s back on her feet, but rather groggy, and luckily (?) time runs out before Michelle can do any more damage.

Round 5

Tamzin’s understandably slow to get to her feet at the bell, but Michelle finds her opponent a less than easy target to hit as she covers up, holds, clinches and generally thwarts Ryan’s attempts to finish her off. The round isn’t a great spectacle, as only one of the girls wants to fight, and it’s only when Tamzin begins to tire in the closing seconds that Michelle lands some punches, her bodyshots slapping into the older girl’s body nice and hard, weakening her.

Round 6

Now Tamzin’s beginning to look rather worn down, and Michelle’s giving her some to the body, every punch making the blonde gasp, her legs starting to quiver a little, and she’s hurt in mid round by a heavy blow to her belly, which takes the air out of her, and she’s almost slumped against Michelle. Fair play to Tamzin, she’s not quitting, but she takes a fearful hammering in the closing stages of the round, as the younger girl belts her to the body to weaken her still more.

Round 7

Tamzin has a very bruised face now, and her gloves are barely protecting it from Michelle’s opening assault, the brunette giving her a couple of shots to the body, just to make sure, then she lands to the older girl’s face – left hook, right cross, another left hook, and down goes Outhwaite, eyes closed, and she’s out!

Michelle Ryan knocked Tamzin Outhwaite out in round 7.

Michelle just got the job done tonight – no more, and no less.
