BEFORE: "It's no secret that I've incorporated a lot of what Ashley used to do into my own fighting style," Jen admits in prefight. "I've got the same heavy hands and sturdy gun-platform body she had - and I love the way she used to get into good positions on girls and really wear 'em down. It's a real thrill to get this chance against her...didn't think I'd ever see Ashley Judd in the opposite corner, you know?" All that past-tense usage not lost on Judd: she's decidedly frosty in rebuttal. "It's bad luck for Jen that she's making her push right now, just as I'm coming back," Judd shrugs. "She's not ready for this collision - not yet she's not. I traded hooks with Jennifer Lopez when Jlo was fresh and strong; Lawrence doesn't know from hooks. Trade in short, muscular rights tests both jawlines, then women lay in shoulder to shoulder, hooking breadbasket stout. Lawrence gradually backing into ropes - both fighters grunting and scowling...Ashley takes command via short right to chin; short left THICK to paunch. Lawrence groaning, covering up earmuff, laying back in ropes...Ashley goes: pounding right wide to paunch; pounding left to paunch; push with the left chickenwing elbow to stack; right to paunch; short right to ear. Jen taking a true drubbing, sagging all strong-legged against ropes, fists grouped at temples. Ashley squaring away, working: lefts and rights thick and healthy to gut, then short-drifting up top to slam around either Lawrence wrist. Blonde girl beaten senseless: she finally reaches to clinch, mouth open on Ashley's shoulder, eyes groggy. Ref's break: Ashley right back on top - pawing jabs; swinging the wide right hand LOUD to gut, then crowding close to push, jerk hooks, beat body, clip chin as strapping blonde lass wilts. Bell: Ashley Judd pushing off all "I'm Big", turning away with a resolute scowl...Jennifer Lawrence gets a taste of old-school lightweight slugging in the first!

R2: No-nonsense beauties step-to - right hands tight to cheeks while left hands pop jabs on approach, converting to short-shrugging hooks as girls edge inside. Muscular bump and slug shoulder to shoulder - tummies thumped; biceps bruised; jugs humbled. Both women able to find opposing chin via short right uppercuts or tightly clipped left hooks: both sponging up clean, clouting shots, then crowding in close behind left shoulder to get revenge. Bruising, bruising fare...girls just steppin' around in groggy counter-clockwise circle, trading short, shocking clout, landing thick amidships/tart up top. Down the stretch muscular, short right uppercuts from Jen seem to discourage Ash in close...blonde girl's right hand finishing up at her own left ear on follow-through as she's smiting away on brunette chin.

R3: Step-to; jab; close; work. Neither woman looking to change the script - Lawrence determined to make her mark fighting Judd's fight. HUGE body blows landed both ways - fighters pawing with left hands for range, then leaning in via straight, palm-down thrusts slanted to belly - or stepping in with swinging wide rights, dragging the power into offending gut. Gorgeous licks beat boozy/cranky exrpessions onto either woman's face - after the right hand body-bombs, they lounge inside with one another, scouring away left hooks and uppercuts. Lawrence SHELLING Judd's thick bicep/shoulders in close - just bludgeoning away on the older woman, slugging her out of her stance...from the half-way point, determined ingenue has sturdy veteran backing up from sheer weight of shot. Down the stretch, weary Judd clinching, bogging Jennifer down: Lawrence trudging forward in the grasp, getting her ref's break only after pressing Judd to ropes.

R4: Brutal, mindless slogging in a phone-booth continues...fighters leaning forward, foreheads often bumping as they reach left hands in to clear the way, then POUND home the straight palm-down right to jugs or tummy. Splendid two way beef-beating...girls stepping around counter-clockwise as they slop the harm to rival torsos. Final minute, Lawrence making headway via workmanlike left/rights against Judd's paunch, backing veteran up...Ash wincing, looking to clinch with she eats a short-shrugging left uppercut in close. JUDD'S LEGS GIVE A SHIMMY! Ashley staring...she spills out of orbit, passing by Jen's left shoulder: blonde girl pivots, lifts rising hook up to mouth from almost behind Judd's left shoulder...punch knocks Ashley's head back, destabilizes her legs. Judd in swoon, staggering...Jen shortens up her hook by jumping in close with it, smashing at left-side of Judd's face. DOWN GOES ASHLEY! Awkward, clubbing blows bash at Ashley, cutting power to her knees...she drops straight down to knees, then chest, sprawling tummy-down at Jennifer's feet. IT'S OVER! Judd's lips parted in KO'd slumber...KO4 Jen Lawrence in legend-killing fashion.

After: Lawrence delighted - batting gloves together, grinning down at Judd's sturdy, conquered back...blonde girl stoked in postfight. "You know, Ashley Judd's been out of front-line competition for a long time," Lawrence beams, "and it showed. I don't think she was ready for a puncher of my calibre. She's still strong, I mean - those body blows she was hitting me with - they were like wrecking balls slamming into me. But that's me - I like a girl to stand her ground and trade with me, and that's what Ashley came with. She knocks that rust off, she'll hurt a lot of girls yet...I just won't be one of 'um
