Nina is pleased to be getting a fight tonight under BBU rules, and she must be hot favourite to beat Pixie, who has struggled so far.

In the ring, Nina is looking still slightly gaunt in a black bikini, whereas Pixie looks really hot in a shimmering silver coloured one piece outfit – she’s ahead on points so far!

Round 1

The fight starts quickly and it’s Dobrev moving forwards, and she immediately surprises Lott with a quick punch to the chin, and Pixie’s down within seconds. Dobrev keeps the pressure on, with Pixie shellshocked, and Nina’s just wiping punches across the blonde’s face one after another, the Brit offering almost nothing back, starting to bruise already, and basically unresponsive. As the round draws to a close, Pixie finally comes out of her shell, and scores some points with a few facial jabs and a neat combo to Dobrev’s body, but that’s a big round for Nina.

Round 2

Nina comes out looking to hand out more punishment, and she’s quickly sending punches to Pixie’s body, trapping her at the ropes, and Pixie goes down again! It’s hard to see which punch felled her – it was probably just the sheer volume of punishment the blonde has had to take, and she gets up slowly, just getting beaten after being caught off-guard here. There’s a nice exchange of punches as the round progresses, with both girls getting clipped, and then Pixie gets back on track in the last minute, taking Nina to the ropes a couple of times and hurting her with good hooks into her body. This has been another big round for Nina, but the lapses she’s having in the last minute of each round could prove dangerous.

Round 3

The girls both come out quickly, and they’re swapping shots in the centre of the ring early on, as Pixie sets out to try to even things up a little, while Nina’s to knock Pixie down again. Lott’s really coming onto Dobrev, throwing a lot of leather, but Dobrev’s not shying away, and she’s knocking Pixie around again as the round progresses, the American seeming fresher, but Pixie can compete, at least she’s showing that! Once more the round ends with Pixie hitting Nina as the brunette tries to shut up shop, and she’s not pacing the rounds as well as she might.

Round 4

Neither girl is quite as quick off her stool this time, as they both begin to tire, and Dobrev’s visibly slowing down, staying on her spot and defending, letting Pixie do all the work, but she’s not as aggressive as she was just a little earlier, and the first part of the round is fairly innocuous from both girls. Once again as we reach the last minute it’s Lott again looking to be the aggressor, charging in harder than her opponent, and she pushes Dobrev to the ropes, pummels her there, but she’s not got enough to put her down.

Round 5

Dobrev took a verbal lashing in her corner after her poor fourth round, and the actress gets back on track, and they’re swapping again in the centre of the ring, but Lott’s seems to be getting hurt as Dobrev digs deep and pulls out a good attack to Pixie’s head. Lott responds, turns Nina when they get to the ropes, unloads to the brunette’s face for the first time, then gets caught with an uppercut, and she looks in trouble, backing off, clinching where she can and tryi ng to take a breather. That punch took some spirit out of Lott, and Dobrev looks a little better at the end of the round, hurting Lott to the body late on, and the round is hers once more.

Round 6

Dobrev comes out much more up for the fight, and she’s fresher, clearly getting the better of Pixie in close exchanges. Lott answers back, but she’s not as effective as Nina. Nina’s giving Pixie quite a pounding to the ribs and flanks, keeping the girl up close but not letting her settle or clinch, then she boxes her at range, picking the blonde off and knocking the Brit’s head to the right and then to the left, and as the round approaches it’s final minute Lott is trapped to the ropes, not really defending herself too effectively, and Nina’s really pounding her opponent there and she scores big, sending Pixie down with a lovely left hand to the jaw. Lott won’t get up from that – her eyes have gone, and Nina will take a good victory tonight.

Nina Dobrev knocked Pixie Lott out in round 6.

Maybe Nina was expected to win, but she boxed well, even though she’ll need to show the ability to box for a full three minutes per round – a more powerful bantamweight would have made her pay for her carelessness in each of the first three rounds.
