“Personally, I think the kid is nuts to be fighting me at this point in her career,” sniffs HISC’s Kristin Kreuk in the preflight. “I mean she’s 0-3 in the FCBA, while I’m 34-36-1. Why she wants to get pounded into 0-4, I can’t say, but I am perfectly willing to do it. Anytime I can humiliate a Foxfire girl, I‘m really motivated for a fight, and I‘m sure motivated for this one.” Demi Lovato stubbornly insists: “You just look at us side-by-side: you see for yourself. She may be 5’4 to my 5’3, but I have more beef on my bones than her skinny little body. I have true punching power so I can knock her silly and then everyone will have to respect me.” Pundits agree Demi is the bigger, stronger, harder-hitting girl, so movement, slicks and quicks will be needed by Kristin to overcome her Foxfire opponent.

Kristin in short tousled hair, royal blue bikini with large gold KK monogram on the hips, light blue gloves and black does. Demi Lovato in a silver bikini (with halter top) edged in black. Silver boots and gloves with black laces. Both fighters very serious in the staredown, touch gloves in a curt, though professional manner.

R1: The fighters move to the center of the ring where Demi Lovato stays compact and strikes with heavy punches to Kristin Kreuk’s body. Kreuk clearly not liking the power of the Foxfire girl’s punching so she starts circling, hitting and running in response. Demi pursues but can’t seem to corner the HISC veteran. Late the round, Kreuk shifts to the offensive, launching a series of effective combinations that strike hard at Lovato’s head and torso. Late hook deep into Lovato tummy produces a noticeable “OOOOOFFFF!” from Demi and she is knocked back on her heels. Kristin springs in. Demi takes more shots before she is able to jab hard enough to force a Kreuk withdrawal, but round goes to the HISC fighter.

R2: Demi comes out gunning for Kreuk body. She is met by a nibbling Kreuk defense as she tries to dance out of range. Demi uses her stronger body to force her way in close and slam hard to Kreuk ribs. Kreuk clearly shaken by the impact of these shots, but she’s got her legs to keep her out of further danger and she uses them. Demi keeps trying to get close again, but Kreuk’s legs while thinner than Lovato’s stems, are just more lithe and keep Kristin out of further danger and by the end of the round, Kreuk seems in control once more.

R3: Kristin now thinks she’s got Demi figured out and she feels comfortable going on the offensive. Demi starts taking well-placed shots to the jaw and body (especially her bulging bikini top with shudders under repeated Kreuk shelling). Demi wincing under this attack, strikes back with her jab and does score to Kreuk’s torso enough to make Kreuk know she’s not having this all her own way. Late in the round, a neat short right uppercut slips past Lovato’s guard and knocks her chin up. Demi’s butt wobbles and Kristin shifts trying to get at that chin again, but Demi manages to keep her upper body moving enough to keep safe to the bell.

R4: Krissy moving smoothly know showing more and more comfort as she works in and out around the frustrated Demi, until she suddenly unleashes punching flurries that run up the points and then sidesteps her way from Lovato’s counterpunching. Lovato’s left eye is swelling noticeably now.

R5: Demi far from giving up. She comes out and tries to land on her elusive foe. Kristin shudders every time a Lovato punch connects to the body, but fortunately, she is able to block or evade most of these. Krissy getting more wary, still retaining her tactical control of the ring, but this is slowing her own punching, allowing Demi to get more points this round.; Still Kreuk ekes out the round in the end preserving her shutout through 5 rounds.

R6: Demi’s face has definitely showing the evidence of Kristin’s early concentration of punch placement, but now the leather shifts to Lovato’s torso. Kreuk mixing in buggy whip rights to Demi’s paunch/flank/rack--every time she lashes in, the hurting Demi shows her watery “how could you?” eyes.

R7: Kristin ups the pressure on Demi in this round. She’s softened the young fighter up, making her achy, slow, and sweating heavily. Now Krissy unlimbers the heavy artillery forcing herself in close to pound hooks into Lovato belly and then the ribs. Krissy driven back against the ropes and pinned there by the smaller fighter while her larger body is used as a fleshy punching bag. Demi clearly confused as shots bang off her head, jaw and chin, she finally manages to work her way free, but Kristin in close pursuit. Still befuddled, Demi finds herself being walked into punches whenever she tries to bumble her way forward. Kreuk shots to the body are making those big Lovato thighs trembleas the impacts ripple down her thick legs, but she remains firmly on her feet. Kristin clearly giving Lovato her Sunday best, but she just can’t give those strong stems to give way. Still, Lovato’s face swollen and her body mottled by red spots that seem likely to become wicked bruises.

R8: Demi rallies! Foxfire girl catches the complacent Kreuk napping as she clubs Krissy out of her stance with meaty shots to the body and jaw. Unfortunately, this only lasts for the first minute, in the second, Kristin recovers and as Demi comes in, the youngster is greeted with a blizzard of punches send her reeling back, blood dripping from a cut over that swollen left eye, sweat spraying as her head is whipped around by right crosses and left hooks. It’s a TERRIBLE beating for young Demi Lovato as she seems helpless against the whirling chaos generated by Krissy. Kreuk really gives Lovato a lathering for points, but she still can’t get those powerful legs to fail. Demi swaying back to her stool, dripping blood and sweat behind her, but Kristin seems exasperated the kid is still standing.

R9,10: Kristin apparently concludes she is NOT going to be able to get the Demi Lovato to quit--and so she settles into a comfortable cruise control, just boxing out the minutes against the increasingly unhappy looking Foxfire girl. Demi doesn’t quit trying but she looks exhausted and plodding. Result is no surprise 10-0 rounds rout as Kristin Kreuk wins what most pundits believe is her first UD10 sweep.

After: Demi Lovato bursts into bitter tears when she realizes she has been skunked by the HISC veteran. Kristin Kreuk observes her sobbing foe and unkindly tells reporters: “The kid is just not ready for the Big Leagues. Looking at her, crying like a baby, unable to take her losses like a mature woman.” Demi said to be bitter about Kristin’s comments: “Some day she is going to be really, REALLY sorry is rubbed it in like that.” Maybe, but right now, Kristin Kreuk is in charge of their rivalry
