Before: Anne Hathaway intense in pre-fight conference, looking to erase her sweet-girl image with a turn as Catwoman in this summer's sure-fire blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises and eager to mate that with a dominant in-ring performance against one of the best lightweights in the league, “I nearly took down her stablemate, Yvonne last time and I've done it before. This is the first time Missy and I have fought, but I'm going to just do what I best. Stay aggressive, punch hard and knock her down. Then, she better stay down. This is the summer where I turn it all around and that starts now!” Peregrym's eyes are narrowed with an intense focus as she shrugs off reporter's questions about Joanne Kelly, just eager to discuss Anne right now, “I definitely hope Annie has a great summer, but it's still the spring and Hathaway is just getting ahead of herself. Jumping into the ring with me right now is definitely NOT the best idea for Annie and I'm going to separate myself from the other lightweights in the league. One match at a time and Hathaway is going to figure that out when she's staring up from the mats.”

R1: Anne stepping in aggressive, crouching to punch and fire furious jab's towards Peregrym's head and torso. But it's Missy showing superior speed by delivering some preemptive jabs, knocking at Hawaway's forehead, then sidestepping pretty. Peregrym constantly delivers a timely poke and displays some evasive footwork to control the round. A frustrated Hathaway not getting off her punches, continually forced to reload and pursue. Peregrym dictates the pace and points this round.

R2: Missy delivering that heavy jab, sidestepping constantly and scrubbing shoulder against Hathaway's bod to bump her backwards. As Hathaway steps back, the shoulder lowers again to slam another hard hook just underneath Anne's guard to pound right into her ribs, just behind her elbow. Peregrym keeps pounding her opponent's ribcage, whacking away as Hathaway doubles over slightly. Anne delivers some lefts and rights to Missy's tummy to keep her from imposing her will, but Missy picks up with a quick jab against Hathaway's face to rock her backwards towards the ropes at the end of the round.

R3: Hathaway coming out aggressive once more, but displaying a better sense of timing this round. Anne bobbing and keeping her guard up as Peregrym manages to keep hammering leather towards Annie's abs. But, Hathaway mixes in some jabs towards the torso with some short hooks towards the face to keep Peregrym from really delivering the shots that she wants this round. The two of them circling each other in the middle of the ring, but it's Hathaway who seems to be outworking Missy P slightly this round. Missy continues to deliver harder punches, but this round, with her bobbing and moving around the ring, it's Anne who manages to deliver more to take the round.

R4: Peregrym comes out, determined to set the tempo back to where she wants it. Annie coming in hard, delivering a stiff jab to try to open up Missy's guard and go to town on her torso, but Peregrym manages to duck down and step in hard, delivering a ripping right glove to slam into Hathaway's ribcage. Hathaway gasps, continuing to jackhammer with her jab towards Missy P, but Peregrym displaying superior footwork as she ducks underneath and smashes in repeated jabs into Hathaway's ribcage and tummy. Peregrym's leaning back on one leg as she puts her weight behind the blows. Hathaway leaning back to ropes and tries to clinch, but Missy presses forward and keeps ripping powerful, compact to tummy as Missy takes the round and the breathe away from Hathaway. Hathaway heads to her corner, breathing hard as she places hands on hips and leans over, gulping in air.

R5: The two of them come forward, apparently eager to trade hooks in the center of the ring. Hathaway hammering away at Missy's tits and tummy, but Peregrym slamming forward with left hands stuffing into Hathaway's midsection and an occasional uppercut from her hips that dazes Hathaway across the face. Down the stretch, it's clear that Hathaway has gotten the worst of this exchange. Peregrym feints towards the body and coaxes Hathaway's guard slightly down to cover up her sore, reddenned tummy. Missy takes the opportunity to send a hard uppercut right against Hathaway's chin. Anne's head rocked backward and legs buckling. Missy follows up with a series of hard rights and lefts that force Hathaway to go earmuff and leaving her tummy open again. Just pounding hard at Hathaway's abs as she's folded over, wobbling backwards off balance. Almost butt-in-ropes as she tries to catch her breathe and knows she's in trouble, Hathaway tries to hook towards Missy's cheek with her right, but Missy bobs away from it and hops back in with a hard right uppercut to Anne's chin. Rocking her head backwards, Hathaway falls down to the canvas, tummy-first as Peregrym stands over her. Anne makes some movements ti rise, but Hathaway falls back down, clutching her tummy and head, unable to make it to her feet. The ref waves it off and Peregrym is awarded the match via KO5.

After: Missy Peregrym's eyes are blazing a bit, skin glistening a bit under the lights after a dominant performance over Anne Hathaway. In the background, a dazed Anne Hathaway is being roused on the canvas as her “summer of Hathaway" has not gotten off to the start she had planned. “Annie is good. Really good.” a gracious Missy Peregrym states after the contest, “But, I warned her before that tonight wasn't a good night to face me. Absolutely, I want to take on the best that this division has to offer and there is nothing and nobody that's going to stop me. I'm going to get back on track, hit harder, prove I'm stronger and better. I'm looking at the rest of this division and I'm going to take them down. I'm going to separate myself from the rest of the lightweights and get back on top again. Where I belong.”
