The first undercard bout of the night features a couple of flyweights, Latin Union's Lea Seydoux has tasted FCBA action already in her brief career, but now sets her sights on making a title run in the BBU.

"I have a plan, folks", Lea tells in her pre-event interview with Denise van Outen "First I knock this blonde tramp Debling out and than I cheer for Virginie Ledoyen to beat Tiffany Mulheron in the title bout, so I can repeat my win over her from a while back. I hope Virginie delivers, but if she doesn't, I won't be that sad either. Mulheron is Scottish, I gather no one likes Scottish gals holding onto BBU titles! I'm confident I can be the next champion but is the BBU ready for my rise to the top?"

Seydoux's rival tonight is Melissa Debling, the 23-year old blonde glamour model has fought twice before, knocking out Pooja Shah before going down to the highly-touted Fearne Cotton last February. This is a great opportunity for Debling to make her mark though, even in wake of Seydoux's superior experience.

Round 1:
Debling comes firing out of her stool, throwing a series of shots to the body, forcing Seydoux into cover; double-jabbing combo from the left catches her in the ribcage and Debling follows up, with a right to the chin! Seydoux clearly stunned by the early barrage, jumps to the ropes, begins to circle around in avoidance, but Melissa keeps throwing hooks to the chest and body. Lea can't move away from the close distance and takes another sequence to the stomach before finally landing a solid left hook on her own. Debling's head snaps back after that one and she finally abandons her aggressive run, but keeps the French girl at bay with more single shots to the midsection. Seydoux can't make anything happen, looks to be relieved just to survive the onslaught.

Round 2:
Melissa pounces on her aggressive start, immediately tries to close the distance again, but Lea's better prepared now, stays glued to the ropes and weaves around the glamour model's repeated attacks. Debling grits her teeth, looks very determined to hurt the French foe, but single strikes inflict little damage in teh second. Seydoux throws solid response from behind her cover, works the upper-body with more flexibility, catches Debling in the ribs a couple of times, jumps to the side, cross-hooks her in the temple. Melissa's defence gets exposed and her head snaps back again, Lea squares up to her, throws a couple of hooks against the leather, but whacks a clean shot to the breasts and Melissa jumps away, moaning in pain. Seydoux on the chase, works single shots from the left, forces the English girl to back away even further and pins her against the ropes late in the round. Series of jabs to the midsection bend the moaning Debling down and Lea whacks another right hook all the way around the gloves to sink her further on her knees but the bell stops the round just as things were starting to get bleak for the glamour model.

Round 3:
Debling keeps the distance at the start of the third, that late charge from Seydoux triggered some second-thoughts but the French starlet pours in with more aggression. She sets her up with couple of jabs from the left, tricks into a half-hearted leap to the right and lands a big hook straight on the jugs! Melissa moans in discomfort, tries to respond with couple of hooks to the face, but Lea ducks underneath them and counters with a hooking combo to the ribcage. Debling can't block them off and gets rocked on her feet! Left hook to the temple and Seydoux pounds her to the ropes, unloads from both wings, just piling on the pressure. Melissa bends down again, covers up, but Lea's on a mission. She throws a solid series below the elbows and has the glamour model swaying on the legs. Left/right combo to the head and Debling's defence buckles even more. Couple of hooks from the left to the ribcage; Debling in a lot of bother! Right jab to the face cuts through the gloves and catches Melissa in the nose! DOWN GOES DEBLING sliding on her backside along the ropes!!! Lea jumps back and analyses the damage, but her rival gathers herself back upright at six albeit not looking in the best of shapes. Lea piles in with the follow-up, Debling just can't escape from the danger zone, takes more lethal blows to the ribcage, covers up, allows Seydoux to have her way with the fight. Series of shots to the body sink the blonde model even further down on her knees!! Ref's not stopping this one though and Melissa survives until the bell as Lea dropped the high-tempo in the final moments of the round. Big smile on the French girl's face while Melissa wipes the sweat off her forehead and walks slowly to her corner.

Round 4:
Lea harrasses her rival straight off the bell, Melissa's face developed a reddish look during the previous round and it's getting worse as Seydoux breaks through her guard with a couple of big jabs straight on the mouth. Debling's head snaps back again and she jumps away from a lethal right hook that almost certainly would have decked her for good in the last second. Lea continues the barrage though, closes the distance, works single jabs to the midsection, before finding an uppercut to the chin as Melissa soaks up all the punishment now. Hook from the left catches her in the temple and pins against the corner post as Lea opens up again, left/right combo to the ribcage bends the aching mdoel down, another uppercut to the chin and a right hook to the temple. Seydoux cuts through her opponent's gloves with ease and signs off the latest charge with a gutwrencher from the left. Melissa tries to clinch, cannot make it happen, Lea lands more heavy shots to the stomach and that has the model sobbing in agony. DOWN GOES DEBLING on her knees, in total disarray, holds her tummy in visible pain... Lea thinks it's all over... not quite... or is it... Melissa fights back the tears and slowly gets up at eight, still clutching her stomach... Surely a no-go for the ref? Debling closes her eyes and starts blubbering, she can't take the pain anymore. Yep, all over... Despite her best efforts, she's taken all the punishment she could and the ref sends her back to her corner... TKO R4 Lea Seydoux in a heavy-pounding fashion!!!

Post-fight:
Melissa surprised many observers with her first round charge, but just nine minutes later she's been turned into a sobbing mess, walking slowly to her corner and holding her stomach which took an almighty pasting in the fourth round. Lea Seydoux needed some time to finally click into gear, but when she did, there was no hope for Debling. Seydoux showed glimpses of a real threat in the flyweight division, something you'd expect from a woman who took Penelope Cruz for a nine rounds slugfest on her FCBA debut. Lea's hopes of claiming the BBU crown look very impressive regardless of the oppostion and if Tiffany Mulheron overcomes Virginie Ledoyen, she must expect another French firecracker gunning for her champion's belt with a head of steam.
