Before: A cordial JMD pre-fight? Curvy veterans downright good-natured at weigh-in and pre-fight interviews. A reporter finally points out, “You two do realize one of you will be smothering the other one out between her breasts, don’t you?”

Christina replies, “You do realize we’re both former JMD champs don’t you?”
Dani adds “We’ve both smothered other girls before, we’ve both been smothered, and you know what? We’ve both survived the experience. But we’ve never tangled JMD before, and at this point in our careers, a new experience is something to be enjoyed.”
Mutual good humor continues through pre-fight instructions, fighters only putting on game faces when they return to their corners. Two of the sturdiest chassis in FCBA history face-off. History tells us to expect a long back & forth, down-to-the-wire rollercoaster ride from these two.
Dani in metallic blue bikini, white gloves, brown hair long & loose. Chrissy rounded out to bantam, wearing purple bandeau bikini, black gloves, black hair cut short.

R1: Fighters meet mid-ring, both slugging criss-cross as they trade at medium range. This time Dani’s heavy hands beat back Chrissy’s fast ones as she forces the smaller girl back towards the ropes, Chrissy‘s rack under constant pressure. Good ring awareness from Ricci, she’s able to back up along the ropes rather than be forced into them, rapidfire hup-hup able to get seperation and stay out of the pocket as they near the corners. Still, it’s Dani hounding Chrissy, and Ricci takes the lion’s share of the walloping in this round. Best she can say is it could easily have been worse.

R2: Chrissy comes out jabbing righty to Dani’s jugs, sets up a left to the gut…IT’S A FEINT! Dani looking to her right gets TAGGED with a go-home overhand right to the jaw! Fishel ragdolling back into the ropes. RICCI is surprised by the devastation, but knows better than to give Dani time to recover. She takes deep breath and wades in. Ricci's fists beating a waltz into Dani; two to the tits, one to the jaw. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Fishel just staring glassy-eyed, taking it, AND WELCOME BACK CHRISTINA RICCI! Ref steps in for a TKO 2!

After: Pandemonium. Chrissy babbling in her corner. Combo was only supposed to get her the round, let her hurt Dani enough to give her a chance in the slugging match this thing was supposed to be. Shakes her head, brings herself together as she looks across at Fishel in her corner, gloves already off. Ricci has her gloves pulled off, strides across the ring. Everyone in the ring will deny it afterwards, but story still goes out that Fishel whispered “Thank you” when Chrissy jerked her up from under the shoulders and hung her elbows over the middle ropes, kicking stool out of the way. Immobilising means Dani can’t struggle, lets Chrissy show SHE still thinks Dani’s dangerous. It’s not much, but not doing it would have been worse.

Chrissy rides left arm around Dani’s head, pulls her between breasts. Dani squirms side to side, but not for long, quickly slides down , landing butt-on canvas. Real head-scratcher here. No way this happens on paper. Guess that’s why they have the fight on canvas
