BEFORE: Finally, it is time for one of the most anticipated fights at BBU between the highly respected French Champion 'La Grande' Malika Menard and the 'American Wonder of Foxfire' Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Both girls highly successful at BBU, but Menard has not liked the idea of Mary fighting at BBU for a while.

"She really thinks this is her territory, her own league, but I'm fighting today to tell herhtat she has to respect me! People always think of Malika's record, and I admit that 11-1-0 is great, but don't forget that I am 9-1-0, and still unbeaten this year!" a very determined Mary Elizabeth told the press in her pre-fight statement.

"Really? She can be 9-1-0, but she lost to Lisa Maffia, a fighter I have dominated. Plus, she has a subpar record in the FCBA, and the only thing she could do to get some attention was to spoil my record here. I know she did it on purpose, coming here while I was on a fantastic winning streak and interfering with my training, but she will pay for it! I will defeat her and crush her here, on my BBU league!" Malika replied, very confident of her word.

Undoubtedly, this is going to be a great fight, with two very dangerous and determined fighters that will compete for the ultimate dominance in the same stable. The British crowd has already taken the side of Mary Elizabeth, but the French vixen has shown she can take care of a hostile crowd in several occasions.

Mary Elizabeth fights in a gold bikini, hair loose; Malika in black, ponytail. Winstead's white belt is in good display in her corner, with the American fighter eager to use it on Malika's derriere.

R1: The crowd may dislike her because of her nationality, but Menard can quickly turn into a crowd pleaser from the first round, as she has already done in several occasions. Malika out quickly, jabbing her way into Winstead's guard, keeping the pressure on her face and chest with her peppering right, and then delivering hard punches when there is the opportunity. Winstead bobbing, ducking in some occasions, but hit several times and, most of all, unable to give answers to Malika's calls in this round. Solid round to Menard, who gets to her corner with a big smile on her face.

R2. Winstead finally able to find her target, but Menard doesn't get away from the action in this round. Girls trade punches in the middle of the ring for several seconds now, with Menard that still seems to be the one with the best solutions here. Winstead hit hard a couple of times, legs buckling but not giving up -she dances away to stop Malika assaults in the last minute, conceding another round to the French vixen.

R3. Winstead get more convincing in the first minute, playing defensively but able to rock Menard with her right in a counterattack _Malika hit right in the face, forced to backpedal as her legs seem to give up, but she eventually manages to stay on her feet as Winstead tries to push her towards the ropes. Malika reacts though, finding Winstead's body again, pushing hard now with her shoulders to get Winstead towards the opposite ropes. Mary Elizabeth tries to hit in the few times Malika exposes herself a little too much, but is unable to get a clean hit; on the contrary, Menard answers to those attacks with serious flurries of punches, leaving Winstead mouthbreathing in the last seconds. Menard able to push Winstead to the ropes, starting a punishment there, but there is not enough time to finish it! Another round to Menard, who seems to be in charge now.

R4. Menard patient now, testing Mary with her jab, not getting too close but also unable to land big punches as in the previous rounds. Winstead with her dukes high, protecting her face from Malika's sporadic right crosses, but unable to prevent a few hooks to make a stamp on her body. Menard finally able to find an opening here, gets to Mary's head with a quick combo AND MARY GOES DOWN! Winstead on her knees for a second or two, but able to get up quickly. Menard with a huge smile on her face, she's now openly taunting her opponent, but Winstead won't take it! A furious exchange at midring leaves Menard shattered, forced to retreat towards the ropes. Winstead pours in, Menard with no options but covering herself with mitts and elbows, finally able to clinch with only a few seconds to go. Menard had the knock-down in this round, but Winstead managed to convince the jusges she's still there with a very strong finishing.

R5. Menard seeks to re-establish her domination here, getting growing appreciation from the crowd. Winstead able only to defend herself in the first half of the round, with Menard's right hand in complete charge, but at least the American doesn't get trapped to the ropes. Menard's hooks to the body shake Mary, but eventually the American manages to get a hold at Menard in the last part of the round. As Menard seems to sow down, Winstead punishes her with crisp hooks and straight punches that rock the French vixen. Menard hit, unable to produce the explsive type of attacks she had in the previous rounds, and this is probably a very close round in the judge's minds.

R6. Malika seems to be in a god position to search a KO, but she doesn't get forward in this round. Very dull exchanges from the distance for the whole round, with the crowd that wonders whether these two are preparing a crazy assault in the next round.

R7. Menard seems to get off from her stool slower in this round, but she does not seem to be less aggressive! Left hand tests Mary's mitt, ready to explode her thunderous right -BUT SHE GETS HIT INSTEAD! Winstead answers to Malika's attack by finding her chin, exposing Malika's face to a left hook and then another right punch AND THE FREANCH GIRL GOES DOWN! Malika sprawls on her knees first and on all fours next, still wondering what hit her. Winstead dances away, seething, as Menard painfully tries to beat the count. Up at eight, Menard get right back at Winstead, with the two fighters that engaged in a punch feast at the ropes, which leaves no clear winner. Menard shocked by Mary's punch; American girl that wins her first round in this fight.

R8. Menard still shaking from the previous round, but she also seems in general to be slower in recovering. Winstead tries to get to Menard's body but not too convincingly, and probably delays her attacks too long, allowing Menard to get back on track. Malika more confident now, gets to Winstead's head with a series of left/right combos late in the round, taking some advantage in another close round and, more importantly, stopping Winstead's good roll.

R9. Girls tired, but now retreating here. Menard plays the aggressor again, pushes Winstead to the ropes and traps her there, but Mary Elizabeth doesn't concede big openings to her rival. Menard tries to hold Mary's head, Winstead answers with short hooks on Malika's breast Menard gulps, tries to hit Winstead but she finds nothing but air while Winstead still works on Malika's breast. French girls happy to clinch here, buying some seconds to stop another assault from Winstead. Round to Winstead, although she did not seem able to give too many worries to Malika.

R10. Winstead's corner instructs their girl -they feel she has to KO Malika go get the victory here. Menard's corner tries to do the same, but Malika seems to be unresponsive -she has spent a lot and seems to be settling for the decision. Winstead plays the aggressor, but in the first minute it doesn't turn out as she planned: Malika trapped to the ropes pretty soon, but her right hand gives several problems to Mary's body. Menard hit and the clinches again, AND THEN HITS MARY'S BACK WITH HER RIGHT HAND! Winstead screams in pain, but the ref gives only a warning to Malika. Menard smiles, taunts Mary again: "come here, get hit again!" but her smile quickly disappears as Winstead pushes her against the ropes again, delivering a flurry of punches to her mitts… and Menard's legs start to buckle! Malika with her butt on the ropes, holding on as much as she can with her gloves and elbows that protect her face, but she can't hold the position too long AND WINSTEAD FIRES HER RIGHT UPPERCUT! Malika hit square in the chin, sprawls backwards with Winstead that hits one more before she falls on the mat on her butt! Menard moans in pain, gets both gloves on the ropes to rise on her feet at 6, but then is hit again! Crowd roaring, smelling the KO; French Champion seems completely spent, as Mary Elizabeth simply pours in with a few seconds to go, finding Malika's cheeks and… the bell tells the two it's over! Winstead pumps her fist in the air, but she doesn't seem too confident of a victory here, despite the great last round; Malika collapses to her knees, sobbing, and needs to be carried to her stool by two members of her staff. Judges take a long time to get to their verdict, and when they have it the two fighters get to the middle of the ring to hear it. Winstead tired but firm; Malika unsteady on her heels, barely able to stand. AND IT'S A DRAW! Both girls open their mouths in disbelief, but it's the final verdict and so the two will go to extra rounds! Menard and her corner protest, they want the fight to be stopped now, but Foxfire rules are clear and so the fight continues!

R11. Frantic, frantic work from Menard's corner doesn't seem to help their fighter: Malika gets out of her stool barely able to stand, with the crowd now asking for a KO from Mary Elizabeth. Menard generously trying to advance, but its Wisntead that dictates here, finding the face of a shaky Menard in a couple of occasions in just a few seconds Then Mary fires two left hooks to the body, making Malika sob and tilt forward.. and here it comes the uppercut from Mary, with Malika rocked, arms that fall downwards, leaving a great opportunity to Mary. Menard's face painted with terror for a split second, then Mary delivers the right/left/right combo to the head that sends poor Malika backwards, towards the ropes AND SHE STAYS DOWN THERE! Malika down on her back, glassy eyes, only sobbing uncontrollably and clearly unable to get up! And so IT'S OVER!!!! Mary Elizabeth Winstead knocked out Malika Menard in the 11th round of the fight!

AFTER: Obvious joy in Winstead's corner, with Mary that makes a simple statement to the press: "I will spank her French butt now!" She gets her gloves removed quickly and goes to Malika's corner, where she grabs her opponent by her ponytail, twisting with anger. Malika forced on all fours, screaming "Stop stop!!! No more!!!" but unable to stop Mary's fury. Then Winstead removes Malika's bikini bottom, exposing her naked butt to the crowd. "This is my league, and this is my crowd, understood?" she yells, giving a first swing at Malika's naked derriere. "Yes… " cries Malika, but Mary insists with a stronger blow "Say 'yes ma'am', understood?" and with Meanrd having no other choices than screaming what Mary wants to hear, the match ends.. although the punishment will likely continue!
Overall, a strong performance for Mary, who really put Malika down with authority in a couple of occasions. Menard strong, but clearly frustrated by her inability to knock-out Mary tonight -she literally had her butt spanked by her worst possible enemy tonight. Now with her 11-2-0 record (85%) she falls behind Winstead (10-1-0, 91%); it remains to be seems how much this defeat will affect Malika's career.
