The venue for the first Tech Invitational is a chalice winery and resort fighting room fitted out with boxing ring. Raised multi-level viewing platforms/dining booths rise three storeys from pit level - full menu available during the fights.

Special invitations to attend the fights were sent to the Grand Wizard and the unified FCBA bantamweight Champion, Neve Campbell; to Bazz, Cassie Scerbo, and Alana De La Garza; to Lookout! and Ashley Tisdale; and to Marvin Fox, Rachel Nichols, and Hayden Panettiere. Virginie Ledoyen explicitly requested the organizers not to allow Sarah Carter to enter the venue. Of course, several reporters from the press, including BLONDE! Magazine and Tractorpull Magazine, were invited too.

The Grand Wizard probably got the best table of the venue, and a complimentary selection of PBS (12 cans), fine California wines (including a 2002 Diamond Creek Gravelly Meadow Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2003 Lewis Cellars Syrah), and mixed spirits (including Sicily-imported Limoncello, a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle's 23-Year-Old Bourbon, and a bottle of Ronzacapa Centenario Rum) to enjoy with a 6-course meal. Micaela Schaefer (in one of her favorite outfits) personally delivered the cart of beer, wines and spirits to his table.

Later on, Micaela was proud to announce the card of the evening:
