Both girls enter the ring tonight without a victory to their name, Blunt with a 0-1-0 record, Poesy with a 0-3-0: they need to show something here. Poesy’s been very vocal in the pre-fight, she keeps having bitter feelings with the ref of her fight with Alice Eve and she also points out that her three defeats were by TKO, claiming that the refs are against her – the British crowd boo her, and Clemence doesn't like it.

Clemence is wearing a black bikini for the fight tonight, with Emily in baby blue bra and panties.

Round 1

The girls circle for a few seconds, then the action starts, but gently – Poesy’s the attacker early, but her jab is unimpressive and Emily starts to get herself established and gains confidence as she gets to her body with a little patience. Now the fragile Poesy is on the defensive here, and Emily’s scoring freely, mostly landing to the French girl’s body, weakening the blonde already and seeming to take the strength out of her legs. Clemence looks already wobbly, starting to clinch and hold when feasible, and the round finishes with Clemence trapped at the ropes, taking two very solid uppercuts from a rampant Emily.

Round 2

Blunt comes out fast this time, and she puts pressure on Clem straight away with those thudding punches to her midsection, and hits her hard in the face too, dominating the first minute. Poesy reacts though, and as the clock ticks, she finds her target a few times and manages to even the round. Emily seems to have switched off, and she needs to pull herself together quickly, as Clemence gives her a few neat shots to her face, and Emily counters, smacking her gloves hard into Clem’s face, bringing up a little mark under the blonde’s right eye, then she’s defending again as the French girl hits her to the body, stung by those bruising punches to her face. Poesy seems short of breath at the bell, and she’s feeling the affects of Blunt’s hard work.

Round 3

Clem’s certainly active, but she misses her target, time after time. Blunt’s boxing well in defence, and swaying away from trouble, then she’s able to move forward, hitting the French girl to the body, then to the face –Clem’s shattered, and she looks spent, takes a hard shot to her belly and goes down, falling on all fours. Emily taunts Clem, and French girl able to rise at 8 - but not too convincingly. Blunt has her at her mercy it seems, and now she really starts targeting her face –Clem’s smooth little butt’s at the ropes – she’s desperately trying to clinch but unable to do it. Emily pours in, and poor Clem is now out on her feet, laying against the ropes with her mitts down, taking hits to the head with no defense. The Tech Europe corner screams at the ref to stop the fight, but it's clear he doesn't want to, making Poesy pay for her prefight statements against the previous refs. With the crowd roaring, and the French girl in tears, screaming her submission, and finally Emily stops punching, stepping on the left while Clem collapses on the mat, face first.

Emily Blunt knocked Clemence Poesy out in round 3.

Poesy’s out cold for several minutes, beaten soundly by her British opponent; rumor is that she is in trouble now, as her contract might have expired and her record doesn't look any good.

Emily gave a good performance tonight – but her opponent is one of the weakest girls in the bantamweight division at the moment, and she is urgently trying to set up a fight with Double A Boxing’s Sacha Parkinson.
