Jessie has been inconsistent so far in BBU, whilst the touring Carrie has been a disappointment in FCBA, her poor publicity persona maybe spoiling things for her, and generating aggression in her opponents.

Well, these are two big girls, and it’s not often that Jessie finds herself shorter than her opponent, but tonight she will be – the tale of the tape also showing that the blonde AmCamillan outreaches her too, and that could be a problem for the Londoner.

Into the ring come the girls, with Jessie in a black one-piece outfit, and Carrie in baby blue lacey bra and panties – advantage Prejean at this stage!

Round 1

The girls are both wary, and they start slowly, sparring and moving well, neither wanting to overcommit, and so there aren’t many good punches being thrown just yet, although Jessie is jabbing well at Carrie, and she’s getting her to step back a little more. Jessie is beginning to take command as the round progresses, looking more and more like the prospect she was thought to be before Rihanna picked her apart, and she lands a few good blows in Carrie’s body, painful shots to take, then she steps in to get a shot at the blonde’s head, when suddenly Carrie crashes a left hook over the top of Jessie’s guard, landing it smack on her cheek, and the Brit goes down like she’s been shot! Jessie clambers to her feet at 7, but she’s dazed, and Carrie has no trouble from her now, just jabbing the singer’s face and moving her around the ring to dominate her.

Round 2

Jessie looks less than confident when the girls resume, and she takes a hard left hand from Carrie early in the round this time, which slows her down still further and has her clinching hard. The blonde girl is beginning to look good, which is a massive change for her, and she’s landing quite freely with punches to the singer’s body, pushes her back to the ropes to teach her a lesson – but back comes Jessie, stung into action, and she cuffs Carrie around the face with two, three, good shots, then turns her around to beat her on the ropes, but then Carrie rips that left hook into her face again, and back to the canvas goes Jessie, confused and stunned from the blow to her eye socket. She’s up again at 7, but that punch has given her a peach of a lump on her cheekbone, and she’s lucky to see the round out, with Camilla not really landing anything more.

Round 3

Carrie starts the round energetically, and she’s trying to work on Jessie’s damaged eye, but she’s so preoccupied with that she’s not taking proper care, and this is letting the singer into the fight again, as she thuds a few decent punches firmly into Carrie’s body, and clips her across the mouth with a couple as well, just for good measure. Carrie isn’t looking too clever now, and her corner’s shouting at her to cover up as Jessie hits her nicely to the body again, the big blonde failing to defend herself properly, just looking to land haymaker left hooks, mistiming everything and looking poor. The round ends with the girls all tied up, arms tangled, and they almost wrestle each other to the canvas, the fans getting frustrated at the drop in proper action.

Round 4

Jessie starts quickly, and well, landing a few more good body shots, then she starts to move the attack upwards, lands a good hook to Camilla’s mouth – but the model hits her back this time, and she’s clipped that damaged eye, which is now pretty much closed, then, with Jessie doing all she can to shield her face, Carrie whups her right in the belly with a left, and that sends Jessie to her knees, the singer gasping and wheezing, struggling for breath. Jessie gets to her feet at 8, but the referee takes a good hard look at her, and decides she’s taken enough – it’s all over.

That was a disaster for Jessie, but a triumph for Carrie, who seems to like fighting in the UK, away from the media circus back home, and the controversy her views has caused there.
