LOOKOUT ATLANTIC BOXING VS FOXFIRE ATLANTIC BOXING

(BBU LOOKOUT ATLANTIC INAUGURAL CARD)

It's perhaps appropriate that the Lookout! Atlantic Boxing inaugural card kicks off courtesy of the first girl that signed for the organization, Emmerdale's own, Jenna Louise Coleman. The truly adorable brunette nearly went the distance with former flyweight champion Adele Silva on her debut back in February and it's easy to notice why Lookout! has great plans for her in the future!

Her rival tonight is fellow dark-haired dynamo, Foxfire Atlantic's Pooja Shah who also has a loss to Silva on her resume and still looks for a break-through BBU victory in her fifth attempt. She has featured on other British TV soap operas including Coronation Street and EastEnders, but was far from the spotlight Coleman gained through her Emmerdale performance

Both girls look very confident of success before the opening bell. Pooja is eyeballing Jenna Louise from her corner, that soap opera rivalry visibly shown, but the Emmerdale brunette answers back although not in such venomous fashion. Perhaps the pressure to perform on Lookout!'s inaugural card is really getting to Coleman after all? The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Jenna Louise Coleman wearing a navy blue bikini and white gloves. Pooja Shah wearing an orange bikini and black gloves.

Round 1:
Pooja looks to enforce her presence early, couple of inches taller than Coleman, she reaches longer and cracks some jabs to the midsection. High-tempo punching follows and Shah has Coleman on the run, cracks few more to the chest, flicks a hook to the mouth and the visibly nervous Jenna leaps away to the ropes. However she hardly gets any respite as Pooja's after her, laces the brunette foe in the guts one more time, before Jenna finally finds some response, throws a straight jab that splits Shah's mitts and goes all the way on the nose! Pooja rages forward though, cracks some slaps to the body and Coleman leans back on the ropes, unable to tame the unexpected barrage from her opponent. Pooja jabs with more aggression, doesn't connect with the face much, but keeps Coleman pinned and struggling along the ropes. Single shots of response, Jenna laces few hooks on the arms and chest but gets outnumbered in the corner and looks relieved to hear the bell. Pooja with a better start although not of the highest standard.

Round 2:
Jenna's up early, blocks couple of shots to the face, closes in, whacks Shah in the ribcage before skimming off her chin with a nice uppercut. Pooja's head snaps back a bit and the Foxfire brunette leaps to safet. Jenna with low jabs to the midsection, tries to keep her rival within reach as Pooja swings over the gloves and connects with Coleman's nose! Jenna winces, gets rocked by that shot but Pooja fails to pounce, steps back before realizing the fellow brunette's in trouble. Wild attack from Shah, but Jenna's covered up, prevents more leather catching her on the face as Shah whacks her around the guard but can't break it open anymore. Fruitless efforts wear the Foxfire girl out but she shoves Coleman to the ropes where she looks for some low jabs to the guts. Jenna's pinned in the corner again, takes more punishment but Pooja's mediocre execution lets her down. Too many shots on the arms and gloves, Shah is angry, but cannot direct her efforts well enough. At the bell it's the same story, Pooja beats up a hapless looking Coleman but without inflicting any real damage.

Round 3:
Worried faces in the Lookout! corner, a better skilled opponent than Pooja would have surely sent Coleman down already, but Jenna keeps coming forward despite getting the short end of the stick in both previous rounds. Shah jabs from mid-range, swings couple of hooks menacingly around Coleman's temple and mouth, but Jenna weaves around them. She tries to send some low jabs, Pooja covers up her midsection and piles in with a left jab to the mouth, Jenna leaps back, shows great footwork and Pooja loses her balance, stumbles forward, drops left arm too much.. Coleman notices the gap... Right uppercut on the chin rocks Pooja on the spot!!! Left hook across the nose follows... AND DOWN GOES POOJA SHAH flat on her back with eyes closed!!! What a double killer from Coleman, literally out of nowhere!! Shah blubbers on the canvas, wants to get up, but is visibly dazed and shaken. She sits up at five, but soon falls down on her back again!!! IT IS OVER... Weed killer treatment, ladies and gentlemen... KO R3 Jenna Louise Coleman!!!

Post-fight:
Jenna Louise flashes a great smile but looks genuinely surprised at the end result. She was clearly outclassed during the opening couple of rounds, but her opponent just couldn't enforce any real damage. On the other hand, the first noticeable attack from Coleman dismantled Pooja Shah and left her half-unconscious on the canvas. Was this a case of "glass jaw" for Shah or does Coleman really have a killer punch on her disposal? Sure, she cleaned Pooja from point blank range, but how many flyweights would want to taste their chins against Jenna's gloves? One suspects there won't be too many of those!

Great opening bout for Lookout! Atlantic stable although Jenna's overall performance needs some improvement. She might not have a chance to execute that uppercut/cross-hook combo against a more skilled opponent than Pooja Shah.

Final result: Jenna Louise Coleman def. Pooja Shah KO3
