Both fighters respectful of one another before the match, with their modeling backgrounds. No heated rivalry between these two as of yet, Doutzen looking to start off her BBU career with a hopeful win and Laetitia eager to get a win as she has not been able to find much success in-ring as of late. However, Laetitia has managed to defeat Doutzen's stablemate, Helena Mattsson, who is sitting ring-side to offer advice. Both fighters are eager before the match for what should be a very exciting and competitive clash of models. Doutzen appears confident but so does Laetitia, the two of them pushing up against each other a bit at the weigh-in, both of them testing the other out before the match.

Kroes is wearing a black-and-white polka dotted bikini which emphasizes her impressive figure with black gloves; Laetitia highlighting her own famous bod with a white sport bikini and matching gloves.

R1. It's a slow start between the two of them, both fighters feeling each other out. In this contest, it's Doutzen the attacker early, landing hard jabs and whacking away at Casta's body. However, midway through the second minute, it's Casta who is landing big punches and it's Doutzen who is covering up well, but repeated shots to her midsection and head, her body getting wobbly in the process Late in the round though, she ducks underneath one of Casta's punishing hooks and then sends her glove up for a hard hook of her own into Casta's chin. Casta is rocked as she is going wobbly-butt now, stumbling back and at the very last second, she falls down to the canvas with a thud, which gives Doutzen a big round in the first. Kroes is beaming at the bell and Laetitia obviously discouraged.

R2. Casta is obviously still feeling the effects of the previous round as Casta comes out of her corner shabby, much to the delight of Doutzen. Doutzen comes out swinging hard, just spanking leather all over Laetitia throughout this second round as she walks her along the ropes. Bell to bell, it's all Doutzen, repeated jabs to Casta's face and really working over her tummy with repeated jabs. Casta is apparently worn out at the bell, as she slumps down in her corner, gulping in fresh air.

R3: Doutzen isn't able to come out as aggressive as the round starts off slow again, not as aggressive as Kroes should've been to follow up on the previous round. Coming forward with hard jabs, but Casta covers up effectively and is able to use this to her advantage to regain some composure. Casta responds with some hard jabs of her own, scoring some hard shots against Doutzen but it's still Kroes coming forward, forcing Casta to cover up, which she does effectively. Bullying her back against the ropes at the bell, it's a third straight round to Doutzen, but it's closer than the previous two.

R4: Casta finally manages to get some of her impressive footwork established this round, showing the footwork that made her an FCBA champion before. Throughout the round, she starts working with her right hand in a jab to pound at Doutzen's body to bully her against the ropes this time. Just hammering freely at Doutzen's ribs as Doutzen goes wobbly-butt this time and in the second minute, finds herself dropped onto her rump with a thud. Doutzen manages to get back up quickly, but she is definitely looking shabby at this point. Legs buckling, Doutzen shows off her sturdiness and doesn't go down, but as Casta pounds at her body relentlessly, she knows Casta has taken this round big time from her.

R5: Kroes to get her act together and stabilize after the previous big Casta round, but Casta is really getting on a roll here. Casta is really showing off her power and technique, moving around using good footwork, just punishing and walking Doutzen down throughout the ring. Doutzen forced to cover up and although she does get a few shots into Casta's midsection, it's another big round for Laetitia. Casta sends a few final flicking jabs into Doutzen's ribs and then backs off at the bell. Observers ringside note that Casta appears to be slightly tired at the end of this round.

R6: Two successive rounds in favor of Casta have left both fighters a little tired, which shows at the start of Round 6. In the first minute, the two of them are feeling each other out again, recovering a bit but once they start swinging, it's a glorious exchange between the two. Casta, however, is the slower of the two this round. The two of them trading hard shots to tummy, chest, ribs and spanking leather off of each other's faces, but Doutzen lands more of them and harder for a late rally for the Dutch model to steal the round from her angry French foe.

R7: Doutzen's confidence appears restored as Casta comes forward, working that jab and playing the aggressor, but clearly tired. Kroes keeps her guard up to withstand the aggressive display from Casta, letting her rival wear herself out a bit until she finally finds herself an opening. Casta is rocked badly from the blows, not able to keep her gloves together as effectively as she would like for defense as Kroes is coming forward hard, clearly seeing the KO. Kroes comes close, sending Laetitia spilling to the mats with a savage right hook but Casta manages to rise back up at 8. Throughout the rest of the round, Casta is trapped at the ropes, getting just battered along the ropes, desperately clinching at every possible occasion. Casta survives the round, to leave a frustrated Doutzen as the KO did not come this round. Helena Mattson talks to her fellow stablemate in the corner, giving her some advice and trying to build her for hopefully a good run down the stretch to take down the French fighter.

R8: Casta's corner does good as well though, and frantic work is on display for their fighter as Doutzen comes out aggressive, eager to hopefully put her French rival down. While Casta is clearly slower at this point, her right glove still comes forward very aggressively. Doutzen gets a little too close at one point early in the round and Casta punishes her with a series of quick, punishing punches to her body, then her head as a hard hook into Doutzen's chin sends the Dutch model spilling to the mats. Kroes manages to rise up to her feet, but clearly shaky. From that point, Casta piles on the points in the final minute, whacking away at Doutzen as she covers up and catches her breathe. Lookout! Atlantic's corner does not appear too worried, counting on a strong finish from Doutzen in the next round.

R9: However, as this round starts, it's clear that Casta isn't done at all. Kroes is trying hard, firing off repeated jabs and hooks towards Casta, but Laetitia appears to have caught a second win. Laetitia is moving with surprising speed as Doutzen is not able to get her gloves connecting against the French fighter. Kroes is the one who is giving ground during the match as Casta keeps working that right glove effectively and as Casta manuevers her foe back to the rope, finds Doutzen's chin again and scores another knock-down. Kroes manages to rise again after another spill to the canvas, clinching at the end of the round, escaping any further punishment as a clearly excited and exhausted Casta is glad to have put her opponent down again and taken another round.

R10: Both girls are clearly tired, but neither of them going to let the match end quietly without a final round of hard-hitting action. Both of them fighting against the ropes, Casta in particular using the ropes for support but Doutzen a little worn out as well. Kroes comes forward, continuing to try to put her foe on the mats, swinging her gloves wildly but it's Laetita who manages to score more down the stretch. Just hammering away with her right and in the end, it's Laetitia's experience that pays off as she manages to end her current losing streak against BBU newcomer Doutzen Kroes. It's a UD10 for Laetitia Casta, relatively wide given her strong finish in the final three rounds of this match.

Post-fight: A good win for Casta against the Dutch fighter, especially with her hard hitting down the stretch. Casta did appear tired at several points during the match, calling into question her durability but can't argue with the results as she manages to send her opponent down several times throughout the match. Helena and Laetitia exchange cool stares after the match, with Doutzen also gazing with a hint of anger and disappointment against a triumphant Casta. It's a great showing by Doutzen Kroes in her initial BBU ring action against a former champion in Casta, but definitely needs to work on her conditioning and execution to win matches down the stretch or score an earlier KO. Doutzen should only get better, however. It'll be interesting to see whether Casta uses this to continue her success after this match or allows herself to spiral out of control again? Overall, great match between two proud lightweight models.
