Top 10 Lightweights

Champion: Tricia Helfer

(1) Adrianne Palicki
(2) Jessica Biel
(3) Missy Peregrym
(4) Kaley Cuoco
(5) Yvonne Strahovski
(6) Taylor Cole
(7) Rachel Nichols
(8) Erica Durance
(9) Ali Larter
(10) Gemma Arterton

This was one of the toughest divisions to rank honestly, but Adrianne Palicki gets the top spot due to her overall body of work. Depending on her upcoming match with Rachel Nichols, she could be a due for another title shot and of course, back-to-back wins over top ten competition in Rachel and Missy Peregrym would warrant that. Jessica Biel and Missy Peregrym both moved up as recent champions. Taylor Cole moved up several spots as she has has an amazing body. Of work, we mean, and although has not been as successful yet in 2012, she is more active against top competition and we feel she will be back to her successful ways before too long. Rachel Nichols and Erica Durance dropped down several spots as before their recent wins, had neither had serious competition since September 2011 (Are you serious?)

Kaley Cuoco is underrated, if anything and is 2-0 thus far this year to date. Yvonne Strahovski is not
as high as we'd like due to only 3 (3!) matches in 2011. She has apparently rebounded in 2012 with 5 matches, mostly successful but will need to keep that up if she wants to improve. Ali Larter dropped because she had only 1 (1!!) match in 2010 and four in 2011, though she had a big win against Missy Peregrym. Ali will need to be more active if she wants to stay on this list. She has had four matches thus far in 2012, but only 2-2. Ms. Larter has been successful in the past and we believe she will be again.

Gemma Arterton dropped a number of spots, though we would definitely like to rank her higher. Gemma does have wins over Anna Torv, Blake Lively and Catherine Zeta-Jones but has faced nobody in top 10 competition thus far. Mostly Gemma's fights appear to be against BBU fighters who are mostly winless or bantamweight fighters. If Ms. Arterton intends to stay in the top ten, she will need to take on stiffer levels of competition. We believe she has the talent to.

Cameron Diaz fell off the rankings entirely since she hadn't competed since August 2011 and that was a loss to Erica Durance. Ms. Diaz was doing very well before that and can return to the rankings if she starts competing successfully once again. Charlize Theron was removed from our rankings because she is currently competing at welter. If she returns to compete at light, we will have to examine and adjust accordingly.
