Before: Surprise draw last time out adds tension to what had been a routine defense situation for a dominant champion. “I’ve always said Charlize is a good fighter,” says Jane. “Not great, but good, Now that we’ve danced, I see how limited and beatable she is. I hurt her SO MANY times in the first fight--I’m anxious to get back on and finish the job, I’ll break her spirit over the first half, and I really think I’ll stop her in the second--I’m not going to predict a round, but I feel she can’t last if I work her hard.” Charlize predictably non-plussed with Krakowski’s assessment.. “Break my spirit? Nobody who seriously believes Jane Krakowski is going to have her arm raised in victory over me has got to be smoking the hard stuff. She’s hard to hit clean, and she has a whole kit-bag of tricks, but that’s because she needs them. Strip away all the smoke and mirrors and Jane’s a pudgy, semi-shot ex-song and dance women who’s a survivor, not a fighter. You’ll see the difference when we go again,” Jane in orange sports bra, red bikini bottoms, Charlize in teal sports bra, yellow bikini bottoms.

During R1: Jane showing plenty of veteran savvy in a bamboozling first. Fighting out of a crouch, gloves at her cheeks, elbows in. Jane jabs Charlize’s chest to get inside, then pats the belly with slapping one-twos using the left shoulder under Charlize’s chin as she steps around the taller champ. Positioning herself cute, just outside either of Theron’s shoulders, Jane can spank at back and side, crowding and anticipating the champ’s swatting responses. Working Charlize to the ropes, Jane finishes with a nice shoulder drive in, then stepping out to chop a clean right hand across the jaw, snapping Theron’s head to the side to cap off a clean, cagey shutout, Krakowski breezy and grinning as she bounces back to her corner.

R2: Theron opens with stern one-twos up the middle, jamming her mitts between Jane’s guard and forcing the challenger back to the ropes. Jane bending forward at the waist, bobbing her head--Charlize standing tall and getting off--Champ keeping her shots short and crisp, curling up underneath to cudgel Jane’s jugs, reaching down to either side to sink a body shot and JANE GOES DOWN! HARD body punching shakes Krakowski up as she takes a breathless knee, up at 8 with a concerned expression. Theron wading in, sweeps a decoy left wider to the body, then commits everything to a lightning bolt right that catches Krakowski with her hands down--vicious head snap as Jane goes out on her feet, then topples to her side under the ropes. SENSATIONAL one punch KO2 Charlize Theron.

After: Charlize answers the critics who thought she had struggled overly much against the stalwart Krakowski first time out--no contest this timemas jane got broken down, then starched as Theron fought like she had an early dinner date. Krakowski utterly devastated by the kind of defeat this was--dismissive pancaking at the fists of haughty champion who reasserts her claim to the throne with a vengeance tonight.
