BEFORE: The weight in and photo shoot show off the contrast of the two fighters. Harris comes in just under the weight limit, Dani having even ventured up to Bantam at times for fights. The willowy Solo on the other had is at the very bottom of the weight class, truly if there was an ultra-flyweight class Ksenia may find herself in it. Harris talks about her BBU experience, most of her fights in the last 18 months having come across the pond. Ksenia assures people there will be no repeat of her first round TKO she suffered at the hands of Lindsay Lohan another boarder line Fly/Bantam fighter.

Danielle is first out lead to the ring by her Foxfire handlers. For tonight’s fight she is sporting an a metallic blue sports bra and matching boy cut shorts with gold trim; blue gloves and ankle high boots complete her togs. Ksenia to honor her native Latvia has chosen a maroon and white fighting bikini with red gloves and white boots for tonight. Solo’s short black hair hangs loose just above her shoulders, with fighting bangs. Fans watching wonder if they are going to see a brawl or track meet tonight, that answer would give them a good idea of the outcome.

ROUND 1: Dani comes on right from the bell, taking ground from Solo and forcing the rookie into a full retreat. Ksenia though keeps from begin trapped moving and sticking where she can. Harris keeps the pressure on Solo, stalking the willowy brunette, looking to pounce in for the kill. SMACK! Danielle never saw the over hand right that tags her brow, Ksenia right whipping out and back in the blink of an eye. Dani caught brings her guard up and Solo goes to work on the America’s abs. Ksenia’s rapid fire punching doesn’t have the force behind it of a bigger fighter, but it’s scoring Ksenia points and slowly wearing down the stockier Dani. The round comes to an end with Solo keeping the pressure on Harris, Dani stomps to her corner grumpy, but unhurt. Round goes to Ksenia 10-9 for sheer numbers of punches landed.

ROUND 2: Ksenia continues to fight from the outside, but Danielle seems less willing to walk into the whirlwind of gloves that Solo puts up when the vet gets too close. Another issue for Harris is the Latvian’s upper body moves like a willow in high winds, Ksenia simply bends out of the way of the power punching Dani. When Danielle does hit it’s never square always glancing blows that lose their sting. Solo keeps moving her feet, torso and fists, Harris seems unable to catch the lithe rookie and the stinging combos from outside keep Dani from plowing in event though their effect is minimal. Ksenia is hitting four or five times to Harris’s one, the blows have little effect on Danielle, but the scorecards all reward Solo for the contact Solo 10-9 again.

ROUND 3: Reports at ringside wonder as the third begins as Dani’s new game plan seems to be go slower and plod more. Ksenia on her toes bouncing and flittering around tagging Danielle repeatedly, and now the effects finally seem to be mounting. Solo moves in more now getting more behind her punches and still able to allude the returns from Harris. Great start for the rookie, it has taken three rounds but the effects are beginning to show on Dani. Another 10-9 Solo round as Ksenia heads back to her corner stopping to bow to the cheering fans.

ROUND 4: Danielle relying on her sturdy frame to weather the storm as she just keeps coming on for more licking chops from the rookie. Ksenia doubling up now taps-taps Dani’s chin, belly and forehead, still Harris’s punches can’t find sold connection. Danielle marches on, trying to find some way to trap Ksenia in one place. Solo hits an over hand right forcing Dani to cover up and the Iffy fighter jumps in drum rolling her gloves on Harris’s tummy. Bounding away as Dani comes out of her shell a grinning Solo invites Harris to come chase her again. Harris frustrated more than hurt whips a wild haymaker at the Latvian’s head, but Ksenia ducks and as Harris passes Solo swats her butt. The bell sounds after the buttock spank, Danielle not happy with the taunt tries going after Ksenia, but the referee guides her towards the Foxfire corner. After getting Dani in place the referee walks across the ring warning Ksenia about the tactics. The Iffy girl smiling answers, “Right, her bum is off limits, Got it!” The warning has no effect on the score again 10-9 Solo.

ROUND 5: First minute a more determined Dani comes out of her corner looking to finally trap Solo. Danielle gets her best punches of the fight in, body shots that while still not barreling up and more solid and show signs of slowing the runaway Ksenia down. Harris still can’t pin down the jitterbugging brunette, but she’s having success…HARRIS IS ROCKED! The stockier brunette staggers backwards an upper cut with more force than those watching thought Ksenia had snaps Dani’s head back. Now the rookie is back to teeing off on the veteran, all Dani can do is cover up and hang on for the bell. Harris is glassy eyed and dazed as she heads back to her corner, Solo while difficult to understand with mouth piece in place shouts, “WHOSYOURMAMA!” Ksenia arms raise walks back to her corner to get scolded from Salli Richardson, but the rookie just grins and nods, listening to the words, but knowing she’ll not be heeding a single one of them. Solo has the shut-out going through five rounds leads 50-45 on all cards.

ROUND 6: At the start of the sixth Danielle’s eyes are clear again, but her confidence must be shaken, Ksenia moving quicker in this round than she did in the first orbits Danielle licking her body with leather. Harris misses wildly with a right, but stumbles into Solo pushing her back into the ropes. The golden opportunity flitters away as Ksenia’s lightning quick gloves strike with a body and head combos letting Solo slip back into the ring. Final minute Solo taunting Harris, leaning in offering Danielle shots, only to flitter out of the way when the sluggish brunette attempts to connect. The shut-out in tack many wonder if it won’t be a 10-0 rout for the rookie.

ROUND 7: Ksenia for the first time comes straight on, bobbing out of the way of Dani’s jab Solo hooks the kidney’s and then goes to work. Danielle wobbly butt as Ksenia opens up and lathers Harris until the American drops to her back side. Solo heads to a neutral corner all smiles and proud, Dani shaking her head picks up the referee’s count and waits until seven to start. After the quick check Danielle nods she can go on. HER COMES SOLO WHAMMM! Danielle for the first time catches the over-zealous rookie with a right hook to the ribs causing Ksenia to cry out in pain. Harris steps in putting her boot on top of Solo’s and guts the ultra-fly weight with sledge like rights. The IFFY corner screams for Ksenia to back pedal and get clear, but Harris has her teed up and knocks the rookie out of the park DOWN GOES SOLO. Ksenia face down cheek on the canvas her knees under her and butt in the air Solo fails to beat the count. Harris explodes for the KO7.

AFTER: Danielle stomps around the ring glaring at the collective flyweight’s in attendance almost daring one of them to challenge her. Ksenia sits dejected on her stool, for six and half rounds she dominated, then in less than thirty seconds she was the loser. Danielle takes a final lap around the ring not even looking at Ksenia as she passes, for that matter Solo looks down at her feet too unable to watch Dani celebrate the victory that should have been Ksenia’s.
