Before “I was never impressed with Williams’ so-called ‘historic title reign’,” sneers Kreuk on her side of the dais. “A bunch of questionable decisions and lame opponents--hardly the stuff of legend. Ask any flyweight--we just couldn’t see what was propping her up in those fights--SO overrated,” Williams nodding, smiling throughout, “Well, Kris is gonna get to see first hand what I’m all about. The kid’s a good year away from really being ready for me, but her mouth has earned her a shot. I feel a ‘Rachel Stevens’ comin’ on--hope Kreuk’s insurance is all paid up.” Kreuk in red and white broad strip bikini, hair tied back, Mish in black push up and panties, white lace trim.

During R1: Mish over-eager early--she’s missing and swinging off-balance as Kreuk displays that slink defense to perplex ex-champ early. Williams has seen it before, shortens up her strokes, starts putting punches together--second minute’s a different story. Kreuk butt in ropes, hugging her torso, bending side to side to evade punishment, but Williams thumping away on the flanks, tuff shoulder butting, rigid right uppercuts--it’s all too much,. Shellshocked Kris takes a woozy knee--prompting a smile and strut from Mish. Final minute mop up: Mish crowding Kristin at the ropes, reaching the left hand in under Kris’ right to grab the ropes while slamming home hungry rights to the breadbasket.

R2: Kreuk been known to slug to her advantage--she tries it early and Mish goads her on--taking punches and taunting “that it?” before slugging back. Toe to toe--Kreuk able to lather and sling effectively, bending to one side on follow through, closing up her stance to help minimize Mish’s receipts--but the blondes mitts are heavier. Kreuk giving up canvas, finally takes a seat in the ropes, hanging on, trying to smother as Mish continues her single-minded romp to brunette ribcage.

R3: Mish shoveling it on. First minute she tracks Kristin down, scoring overhand rights to the cheek to put Kreuk ropeside, Second minute more bruising, sustained punishment--Mish shoving and slugging, working the body, getting rewarded as Kreuk’s defense starts to dissolve. Hard, clouting head punches shake Kris up end of the second minute--she gets supple, bending at the waist, leaning back into the ropes, laying over on either side--anything to take the bite off Mish’s relentless punching to the bell.

R4: Shutout Mish Williams. She brazen, grinning--marching into Kreuk, stampeding her to the ropes, setting up brawny then hustling punches into an increasingly stiff and sullen Kristin Kreuk. Kreuk huddling over, protecting her battered middle--Williams clubbing blows bounce off shoulders, beat the biceps, hips and ribs, skid off the temples as brunette moves her head. Just blonde staking brunette up at the ropes and working her over--all Williams through 4.

R5: Kreuk brilliant defensively in the opening minute--standing in front of Mish, left shoulder pointed at the blonde, chin tucked, bending at the waist as Williams sprays punches over top. Mish stepping and slugging forward--Kreuk turning her torso, slipping shots as she slides back, dragging that front foot. Kreuk at the ropes, slips a randy mish right, hooks crotch, hooks crotch, then spins a hurting blonde face-first into the ropes! Williams paralyzed from the cheap shots, elbows in, face tight with pain--KREUK OPENS UP! Lathering quick-mitt flurry, batting Mish’s face, sitting her helpless in the ropes and THE REF STEPS IN! Even Kreuk momentarily stunned before leaping away giddy with triumph. Unbelievable, quick-whistle TKO5 Kristin Kreuk!

After: Williams alert, shoving the ref in the stomach--she looks ready to assault the man when Syren gathers her up and restrains her in a corner. Kreuk skipping around the ring, stopping at the TE corner to pose with her biceps flexed, but not daring to get close--way too much fight left in the blonde for any hanky panky. Williams seething in post fight. “I want that ref banned fro the sport! First, he misses her low blows--that’s the only reason I wasn’t pitching back, Second, those pitty pat combinations she was hitting me with weren’t doing anything--I was fine, just shaking off the cheap shots--and he stops it! That is the WORST call in the history of bad calls in the FCBA!” Kreuk lumped up but grinning, white towel around her slender shoulders--oh, she’s preening. “I told everyone Mish was a tramp--a hobo--a glorified ham and egger--but it took a devastating knockout to prove it. She couldn’t take my punch--not many flyweights can, but people thought she was somehow special. I got her missing, then I checked her out--and I get PAID to do this!” As for the TE calls for an immediate rematch? “Well, I leave that up to my management,” says Kris coyly, “but frankly, she didn’t show me much. She’s got a lot of work to do to be really competitive with a master boxer and I don’t see what she’s done to get another try-out with me. We’ll see.”
