Helena Mattson eager to get back into the ring following her loss to hated rival Malika Menard and energized by Ms. Menard's recent loss. Challenged by Natalie Gumede, she is ready to regain the winning form she had displayed earlier. Natalie is eager to follow up on her debut with Chantelle Houghton, though Ms. Gumede readily admits that her debut fight wasn't against the stiffest competition. However, she is ready to take a step up against stiffer competition with Helena Mattson, who is still new but definitely made a name for herself ending the reign of terror of Ms. Menard. However, if she wants to succeed in the BBU, she'll need more wins. Hopefully, this'll be the start of such success though Ms. Gumede looks very determined as the two touch gloves prior to the start of the match.

R1: Natalie comes out, using her slight height advantage to take advantage at the start of the contest as she presses forward behind a right jab that tries to establish who is in charge. Helena not interested, however, bringing her gloves up to prevent the jab from connecting and although it pushes her backwards slightly, she uses some good footwork to make Natalie miss. Then, she responds with a hard right hook that snaps her opponent's head to the side. Natalie stumbles backwards, then Helena follows up with another right hook that Natalie blocks, but is caught by surprise with a left hook that strikes her ribs sharply. Doubling Natalie over, but Natalie responds well with some powerful punches of her own to keep Helena from fully taking advantage. Helena keeps throwing right and left combinations towards Natalie's head to keep backing her up as she dazes her opponent early and takes the round wide.

R2: Natalie bounces back well from the first round, coming out hard in the next round as she sends sweeping left hooks towards the Swedish fighter who is forced to cover up as her head is pounded by Natalie's hard shots. Helena moving around, however, keeping Natalie's follow-up shots from landing with as much accuracy as she would like. Natalie using her height again as she keeps trying to hit towards Helena's face, but the blonde beauty keeps moving and is finally able to score some jabs into Natalie's ribs and tummy. Natalie keeps aggressive though, wincing as she keeps shooting her gloves towards Helena's upper torso and head. Natalie closing in, and Helena tries to cover up, but Natalie breaks through her defenses for a one-two combination to her face that has her sprawling to her butt. Helena goes down, but is back up quickly. However, Natalie is on top of her from the moment she rises and takes the round wide, with the knockdown.

R3: Helena getting instructions from her trainers in between the rounds as she comes out, knowing she needs to be aggressive after the previous round. Natalie coming out just as determined, using the jab once again, just trying to break through Helena's defenses once again but Helena not letting the blows connect with her body. Mattson displaying good defense and then, even better offense as she manages to find Natalie's face with a jab of her own. Natalie is reeling for a moment as Helena hooks her glove towards her opponent's ribs, then clips her underneath her chin for an uppercut that sends Natalie down to her back. Helena responds to the knockdown of the previous round with one of her own and although Natalie gets up quickly, but Helena pounces on her immediately. Helena batters her opponent back into the ropes, but isn't able to knock her down again. With the knockdown though, Helena takes the round wide.

R4: Both fighters coming out hard after knockdowns in the two previous rounds, each of them eager to prove themselves. Helena and Natalie head to the center of the ring, trading and exchanging hard shots towards one another. Natalie going right to work on Helena's ribs and tummy; Helena sending her shots towards Gumede's upper chest and face. Natalie has the initial advantage, forcing Helena to back up, then the advantage shifts to Helena as she manages to blast Gumede in the face. Forced to momentarily retreat as Natalie cliches, then manages to twist Helena up against the ropes. Helena is butt-in-ropes and then doubled over as she finds Natalie slamming her punches into her tummy repeatedly. Sending a stiff uppercut towards Natalie's face as she gasping, and although it doesn't connect fully, it does force Natalie to back up slightly. Helena pushes off of the ropes, but runs into another hard shot to her gut as the two of them trade punches, but Helena is winded and Natalie is able to strike more consistently as she takes round 4 with a focused performance.

R5: Helena comes out firing in this round, just going right after Natalie's tummy in retaliation for last-round. It's a good strategy from the start, though Natalie is still determined as ever. Natalie punching hard over Helena's well-placed jabs towards Mattsson's chest and face, but Helena managing to avoid most of those while keeping her attention and jabs towards Natalie's tummy. Sending her doubling over, Natalie manages to clinch again but Helena uses her advantage to push her opponent back into the corner. Natalie fires forward with some combination towards Helena's tummy as Mattsson folds over slightly, but Natalie can't get out of the corner. Helena does manage to send an occassional shot to Natalie's chest but mainly sends whacking shots to ribs or abs to keep Natalie breathless. Natalie tries to get out of the corner in the final minute, almost securing freedom with a hard uppercut that hits Helena, but as she tries to escape, another hard shot to her tummy at the bell sends her stumbling back into the corner. Helena takes round 5.

R6: Trainers talk to Natalie in the break as do the trainers for Helena. Natalie's tummy definitely got tested last round, but she's here for round 6 and both corners know this will be a big round. Either Helena will get to take advantage of her performance last round or Natalie will get back into the match with a big round of her own. Early in the round, we find out which way it's going to go and unfortunately for Natalie, it's Helena who manages to get in close and shoot her gloves in past Natalia's guard to pound her gloves into Natalie's tummy. The repeated shots to Natalie's tummy have taken their toll as Natalie bends forward, then Helena starts sending quick, powerful punches to Natalie's head. Natalie is hit around the temples, face and head as she is sent down to the canvas for the second and final time. Natalie's legs are unable to support her as she slides down to the canvas, clutching her head as Helena holds her hands over her head in victory. Helena Mattsson takes the match via KO6.

After: A very good match between both lightweights, but Helena was just too much for Natalie tonight. A very good showing, however and Natalie should be very pleased with how she responded against tougher competition in Ms. Mattsson. Lookout! Atlantic should be very pleased with how she responded, physically and mentally, to the loss to Menard. Helena appears just as confident as ever. Both fighters are very respectful towards one another after the match, despite their pre-match trash-talk. However, Helena still can't resist whispering in Natalie's ear during their post-match hug and whisper, “You got busted!” as she grins and laughs. Some playful shoving ensues as these two will likely meet up again sometime, but end on mostly good terms today.
