The final flyweight contest of the night features a couple of defiant brunettes who last fought in February. Back then Danielle Lineker (Garnet Gunners UK) scored a points decision over Louise Redknapp to mark her successful BBU debut while Cheryl Cole (Kear's Kats) suffered a bad TKO loss to Samia Ghadie in one of the most vicious fights in series' history that left many experts surprised as Cole was expected to beat Ghadie in a prestiguous duell. It has taken the proud Geordie fighter almost five months to recover from that loss and Danielle Lineker seems like a perfect opponent to start Cheryl's comeback into the spotlight.

Both girls are very animated as they enter the ring. Cheryl hates all her flyweight rivals and is keen to dish out a great deal of punishment every time she fights but Danielle shows little sympathy to the Geordie singer and wants to knock her out and build upon the Redknapp victory. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Lineker storms out of her stool and catches Cole with a jabbing sequence to the stomach early. Aggressive approach pays off quickly as couple of nifty hooks force Cheryl back and Lineker whacks her in the ribcage, flicks a couple of hooks to the head and pushes the Geordie singer to the ropes where she countinues to clean her midsection out! Impressive start from the model who totally overwhelms Cole in the opening round, Cheryl covers up, tries to counter with some single strikes to the head and body but crashes off the guard and can't connect with Danielle's flesh apart from some weak shots to the forearms. Lineker drives forward, throws more punches to the ribcage and chest as Cheryl forces a late clinch to see out the round.

Round 2:
More aggression from Danielle who shows no respect whatsoever to the popular Geordie rival. Series of precise jabs to the tummy force Cole on the back foot early as Lineker swipes across her face with more cross-hooks follow-up. Cheryl answers back with single shots to the midsection, misses her efforts to the head and has to weave around the ring to avoid Lineker's repeated attacks. Danielle's quicker of the two, closes the distance time and time again, whacks the cumbersome singer in the chest and ribcage, gets hardly tested herself as Cole is misfiring badly. However Lineker can't trap her along the ropes in this round, Cheryl doesn't want a repeat of the Ghadie fight and despite all her pre-fight insults, hangs back and allows Danielle to impress the judges even further, hoping that the buxom model will simply wear out before the bout concludes.

Round 3:
Cole weaves around the ropes, teases Lineker into another aggressive charge and the model answers the challenge, wary of her dominance thus far. More low jabs to the stomach start her attack, but Cole counters with a right hook across the face, cleans Lineker on the nose and wobbles her for the first time tonight! Danielle drives forward, pours in with more shots to the ribcage, nearly headbutts Cole in the proccess, but the Geordie leans back on the ropes, uppercuts her way through to Lineker's breasts and both girls lock in a clinch along the ropes as Cheryl shows some mean intentions by throwing a rabbit punch to the back of her opponent's head! Ref drags Lineker away and lectures the singer, but Danielle wants to make up for ut herself, steps up to the fellow brunette and whacks her in the stomach, throws an uppercut to the chin and snaps Cole's head back. Vicious combos to the midsection bend the singer in half as Danielle looks for more damage, slams couple of hooks to the face, goes around the guard and wobbles Cheryl heavily in the dying second of the round. Cole's visibly stunned by that double effort, but gets saved by the bell as Lineker maintains her advantage despite a small scare half-way through the round.

Round 4:
Lineker goes after the Geordie singer straight away, laces Cheryl in the ribcage, but gets somewhat overconfident in execution, doesn't raise her arms anymore and Cole cross-hooks her in the mouth before landing some low jabs to the midsection herself. Vicious trade-off ensues in the middle of the ring as neither girl wants to yield an inch! Heavy blows from Danielle, she peppers her foe's breasts and stomach but Cole - despite wincing in pain - responds with single strikes to the face. Lineker's head snaps back several times and she finally covers up, remains rooted to the spot though, doesn't want to leap back to safety while Cheryl cracks her guard with vicious strikes. Big left hooks wobbles the model badly and she finally jumps to the side, but the Geordie singer still whacks her in the chest and signs off with another left hook on the cheek before Danielle can move out of her reach. Cheryl hassles her across the ring, but can't match the model's footwork and gives up on her quest to inflict more damage before the round is over. Lineker keeps it cool as she walks back to her corner, but she threw a lifeline to the singer who was getting teared apart in the first three rounds.

Round 5:
Cheryl's visibly boosted by the previous round and she steps up aggressively to her rival, throws a series of jabs to the ribcage, flicks an uppercut between the gloves and Lineker gets nailed on the nose! Danielle clearly thought she had the singer at her mercy but now struggles to cope with the menacing nature of Cole's comeback. Another trade-off in the middle of the ring ensues and Cheryl pummels her rival's chest, drives forward with wide jabs to the ribs and forces Danielle back as the model misses a few shots from point blank range. Cole is much quicker on her feet, weaves around with the upperbody and Lineker only grazes her flesh with sub-par efforts. Big left hook from Cheryl splits Danielle's mitts and a right follow up nails her on the nose! Lineker falls on the ropes, her defence got exposed badly and Cole pins her in a trap, slams a series of shots to the midsection, forces the aching model to cover up, but throws more shots around the elbow, sinks Danielle on her knees and delivers a huge pasting, completely turning the tables on this fight! Couple of cross-hooks cut through the guard and Lineker is treated with another head-snapping experience. She can't even land a single punch inside the final minute and Cole cleans her out with more shots to the stomach. Feisty scream from the singer at the bell, she gives the model a ruthless death stare and Lineker looks in some discomfort with all her advantage from the opening three rounds effectively gone now.

Round 6:
Danielle remains glued to the ropes early and looks for more respite as Cheryl's repeated punches took their toll on the model's body. However the Geordie singer has other ideas, she closes on the stranded foe with ease, fakes some low jabs to the stomach and whips a right hook to the head, follows up with a left to the breasts. Lineker's too slow to react, gets nailed clean both times and sinks on the ropes, Cheryl moves in with straight jabs between the gloves. More head-snapping on display as Cole finds the target with every attempt! Woeful defence from the model; Cheryl literally re-arranges her face with a brutal execution... and Lineker can't take it anymore. arms go numb and SHE CRASHES FACE-FIRST on the canvas with a loud shriek of pain in the proccess!!! Cole punches the air in delight as Danielle climbs to all four at five and looks to beat the count regardless of the pain she's experiencing... Courageous effort from the model who gets up at nine and wants to continue. Her face is swollen badly, a deep cut under the right eye demands some attention, but Cheryl has little sympathy towards her: "Bytch wants more? Let me at her.." Ref turns around but leaps back just in time as Cole was flying in with a right hook to Danielle's face. Right on the money, left jab to the guts follows, right cross to the mouth. Lineker's taking a huge punishment here, arms drop to the side and the ref charges in.. he drags the fiery singer away and embraces the battered model. Danielle's lights were punched out and she slides unconscious to the ref's arms... Incredible finish and what a way to beat your opponent!!! TKO R6 Cheryl Cole!!!

Post-fight:
There's no coming back for Danielle Lineker who gets stretched off the ring moments after the fight was called. Despite a very promising start she just couldn't hurt Cheryl Cole enough to relieve her of any fighting spirit. In fact, it was the Geordie singer who stormed back into contention after getting absolutely trashed inside the opening three rounds. That loss to Samia Ghadie must have dented her pride a lot more then all die-hard BBU fans expected.

"It all came down to the fact who wanted this victory more," a jubilant Cheryl tells Denise van Outen in the ringside interview, "Sure, she had a good start, much better start than I expected from a jobber girl like her... she bruised me a bit, but when I kicked into gear, she had nothing for me. I pummelled her around and knocked her senseless in the end and it surely feels great to win in BBU again. Jorgie had a great fight earlier tonight and now me. The Kats are making the noise again and nobody cares about that cheap tart Ghadie anymore!"
