Hilary Duff versus Haylie Duff

It's as bitter a rivalry as you might expect from the two sisters and that definitely carries over into the pre-fight with plenty of shoving and taunting exchanged between the two. Hilary the younger sibling between the two, but certainly more well known, both here in the boxing world and in Hollywood. It's a fact that appears to have really frustrated Haylie over the years, to the point where she recently supported her sister's rival Kelly Clarkson. Unable to accept the betrayal, Hilary challenged her older sister to a match which brings us to the present. Although Hilary is by far the more experienced of the two in boxing circles, it doesn't seem to worry Haylie at all: “Honestly, Hilary and I used to spar all the time and guess who used to own my LITTLE sis all the time? Me! Hilary knows it and tonight is just going to take her back to the days were I could pick on her, then pick her apart!” Hilary just rolling her eyes before the contest, “Haylie seems to have confused me being nice to her while sparring and actual boxing. That was then, this is NOW. This is actual boxing and this is my ring. My sister is going to have to learn who is in charge now.” The two of them can hardly look at each other before the match, but the official does get them to touch gloves finally and when they do, it's blazing eye contact between the two – years of sibling rivalry simmering behind them.

R1: Just as you might expect in a match between sisters, the match immediately starts off with bitter slugging between both of them mid-ring. It's Hilary coming forward first, just swinging hard jabs towards Haylie's tummy – delivering sharp licks towards her abs forcing Haylie to cover up initially. But perhaps Haylie wasn't lying about those sparring sessions as she outworks Hilary throughout the round. The two of them slugging back and forth, just trading shots that rock one another around the ring, but Haylie slightly taller, coming forward off of the jab to back Hilary up. Haylie standing over her sister, looking imposing for a moment as the bell rings and the round ends, then beams as she heads back to her corner. Hilary glares at her sibling before heading back to her corner, hoping to reset the terms of engagement in the subsequent round.

R2: Hilary does change the rules in the second round, coming out fast and substantially increasing the tempo for Haylie to deal with. Looking to show off as she bobs and weaves around the ring, avoiding the jab that Haylie tries to impose once again. Hilary then uses her own jab, slamming into her sister with straight punches that hammer about her shoulder and head. Hilary managing to push Haylie back against the ropes as she's unable to hold her ground, slamming the gloves with sneaky speed against her siblings' ribs and torso. Haylie bullied up aganst the ropes, doubled over, managing to push her sister back at the bell as Hilary sticks out her tongue, clearly pleased at her display this round as Haylie is unable to get off this round like she would prefer.

R3: Hilary seems eager to show off her FCBA experience as the experience gap between them is demonstrated again in this third round. Haylie abandons the jab this round as the two exchange bitter rights and lefts, trading loud shots that connect in the middle of the ring. But, it doesn't take long for Hilary to use her speed to her advantage, just sending vicious licks of leather slamming into Haylie's body practically from bell to bell. Haylie forced back against the close confines of the ropes again and scowls at her sister as the two are pulled apart. Hilary making sure to stuff one more to the tummy for insurance after the bell to draw a warning from the ref and a pained shout from Haylie.

R4: This round starts off with more of the same, with Hilary surging out of her corner towards her older sister to swing wild shots towards her tummy and head. Haylie manages to duck underneath one particularly vicious looking hook, then catches Hilary with a brutal haymaker in response. Hilary's head spins to the side as if on a swivel, sidestepping to try to stabilize but Haylie has no intentions on letting her recover. From that point, it's an all-out assault. Hilary covers up, her legs managing to help her absorb the punishment and what hellacious punishment it is! Hilary is beaten pillar to post, just unable to withstand the battering hooks, jabs, haymakers and wild shots that send Hilary staggering all over the ring. Hilary is butt-first in the turnbuckle, just covering up as her older sister hammers down against her face, ribs, chest and tummy, just taking what she wants before the ref puts a stop to it. Hilary is shuddering in shock, hurt and disbelief as THE REF STOPS IT! It's a wild upset as Hayley shocks sister in a KO4!

After: Hilary collapses into the turnbuckles as Haylie poses over her sister, loudly proclaiming her superiority in this sister-to-sister slugfest to anybody within earshot. Hilary, once roused at her stool, demands a rematch as she proclaims the haymaker a “lucky shot” and that she was beating Haylie before that. Haylie just shoves Hilary back down to her stool on her way over to the microphones, laughing: “What did I tell you? I beat Hil at home, beat her up at sparring and now I've beat her in the ring. Don't listen to my lil sis when she says it's a fluke. I'm for real and she knows it! I'm ready to take on anybody! I saw Minka beat up Hilary last year, but I can take Minka in a heartbeat. Same goes for Lamie Lynn Spears and any of those other Disney brats watching. I'm for REAL! Take a look at Hil and try to tell me otherwise!”, pointing to her younger sister who is fuming and storms off so that she doesn't have to listen to this for one more minute. Something tells us that this will not be the last we hear of this, however.
