BBU Summer Grudge Fights

To put it as simple as possible, Sylvie van der Vaart is on a roll !!! The Dutch model endured a very rough start to her BBU career, losing her first three fights but has bounced back in style since then, winning the next three including a brutal destruction of Samia Ghadie just few days ago. It's no wonder she wants to keep her streak going and the Foxfire Atlantic Boxing management is quick to answer the needs, setting up a clash with Kear's Kats Nikki Sanderson. Van der Vaart defeated Sanderson's stablemate Nadine Coyle back in June, so the Kats have unfinished business with the blonde model for sure.

Georgie Thompson reports ass licking and toe sucking may be on display after tonight's bout as both girls are eager to humilate each other and show little sympathy in general. Sylvie is back with her lucky orange bikini she showed everyone in the Samia Ghadie fight to go with blue gloves. Nikki Sanderson picked a silver bikini with black stripes and red gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls immediately step to each other and bang their gloves against the flesh, Sylvie works the midsection well, but gets nailed with a sky hook from Nikki who cracks a couple more to the face and forces the blonde back. Nikki's keen for more early damage and she goes gung-ho with her efforts, lashing out at her rival, landing several shots to the body, but missing a fair share as well and Sylvie weaves around those shots, escaping serious trouble. She's unable to break the flow though and the redhead eventually backs her against the ropes, signs off the round with few low jabs and at the bell it's all Sanderson and van der Vaart shows no signs of that formidable woman who destroyed Samia Ghadie!

Round 2:
Redhead power again! Nikki moves on the blonde, blocks her early shots to the body and swings another sky hook to the temple, snaps the model's head back and pummels her midsection moments later. Sylvie moans in pain and covers up, catching slight break as Nikki looks to land more punches to the face but crashes off the leather, reverts into ribcage pounding instead. Back on the ropes for van der Vaart; Nikki just overwhelms her with power and efficiency, breaths confidence and lands vicious blows under the elbow. Sylvie tries to clinch but gets laced between the arms and flies back on the ropes. Tummy exposed, redhead bends her in half with a jabbing sequence and skims off the chin with a seemingly well-placed but eventually mistimed uppercut. Sylvie's head lands on Nikki's jugs as she was leaning forward and the model forces a clinch much to Foxfire's corner relief. Sanderson pins her opponent to the ropes but runs out of time to make further inroads before the bell. She kicks the model on the butt as Sylvie walks back to her stool and the blonde turns around and gives her a proper death stare. One wouldn't want to upset her too much even in wake of Nikki's dominance so far.

Round 3:
Head trainer Sophia Myles all over van der Vaart's ear during the interval. Nikki unmoved by the possible change of power, closes on the blonde again and works low jabs to the stomach. Sylvie ducks to the side, counters with a cross-hook to the nose and that catches the redhead off guard, another right on the mouth and the model is back with some vengence. She pummels the briefly stunned foe's ribcage, nails her on the jugs and tries to land another one on the chin, but Nikki regains focus and covers up just in time. Both girls in close distance, throw quick, sharp hooks to the body, evenly matched, but Sylvie is able to handle the redhead's efforts now albeit single strikes from both sides mark the rounds as not so damaging as both had intended. Van der Vaart splits her rival's mitts late in the going, leaves some fresh bruises on Nikki's face, but probably not enough to claw this round back.

Round 4:
Sanderson still with loads of aggression, eager to dwarf the blonde mentally; she storms out of her stool and kicks the high-tempo jabbing into action. Sylvie reads that tactics well now, credit to coach Myles, she leaps back and forth around the redhead's efforts, finally sees her lose balance and big right hook almost out of nowhere stuns Nikki in the middle of the ring! Left follow up on the face and that's a nasty shiner underneath Sanderson's right eye! Van der Vaart pummels her midsection, no time to catch a breather and Nikki gets pushed to the ropes within seconds, moaning loudly and looking subpar all of the sudeen. She wants to clinch, but Sylvie leaps back, throws more jabs to the chest and another left hook on the eye. Nikki covers up, tries to survive the unexpected onslaught but the Dutch model rocks her on her feet with no sympathy whatsoever. Series of punches keep Sanderson pinned against the ropes and the Kats' corner gets very vocal in the final minute, urging their girl to hang on and she eventually does, barely. Huge round for the blonde who landed almost as many punches in these three minutes alone as she did in the previous rounds combined.

Round 5:
Nikki's face is being worked on during the interval, Sylvie really lumped her up with those mammoth hooks, but the eyes remain full of confidence. One bad round is not enough to tame the redhead's aggressive approach and she looks to surprise van der Vaart early in the fifth as perhaps the blonde model thought she relieved Nikki of the fighting spirit already. Wrong call, mooi meisje!!! Sylvie does indeed close the distance on the seemingly wounded rival but meets reality checking right hook straight on the eye! Sanderson snaps her head back with a jabbing combo and it's the Dutch girl losing balance now under the barrage, Nikki yells out a primal scream as she connects with another right hook and it's payback time, a nasty shiner under van der Vaart's eye appears and it's getting personal now as both girls want to give each other a face rearranagement treatment, lashing out with full power, heads snap back repeatedly, blonde and red hair fly everywhere but nobody yields an inch so far and the fatigue finally kicks in, both girls fall into a clinch late in the round, but still continue with ribcage peppering until the bell sends them back to respective corners.

Round 6:
Cutmen have their hands full before the sixth. Nikki's face is almost matching her hair color now and that cut under Sylvie's left eye has grown into a really nasty gash with all that punishment. If the wounds get any worse, that could be the fight won or lost right there. Neither girl steps back after the bell, their attitude really defies logic as one punch jackpot could also settle this one. More vicious jabs on the body follow, the speed is lacking as both girls must be really suffering now but it's mind over matter stuff as Nikki wrenches Sylvie's guts and backs her against the ropes with a fine effort. Dutch girl tries to respond but misses a straight jab and allows Nikki to pound her rack instead. Sanderson shifts into another gear and buries her foe against the ropes with some vicious hooks, rocks Sylvie on her feet and the model finally crumbles under the barrage. Almost rib breaking-like execution is too much for her to handle and couple of jabs on the breasts leave Sylvie breathless and SLIDING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE as Nikki kicks her in the stomach as she was going down! Ref shoves the rampant redhead away and gives her a lecture as the fallen model slowly recovers. Kats' corner is furious, head trainer Gail Kim in particular, "Where's the count, ref?" After good ten seconds or so it finally materialises, but Sylvie gets up at seven, throwing venom with her eyes. Coach Kim is beisde herself and who can blame her. That looked borderline at the very least, but the kick from Nikki was completely unnecessary. Fight on! Ref ignores abuse from Kats' corner as Nikki pours in with more jabs to the face but Sylvie reponds with equally menacing effort as if that knockdown woke her up all of the sudden. Face pounding blows from both sides continues until the bell and Nikki nurses a fat lip as she walks towards her stool whereas Sylvie's left eye is almost entirely shut now.

Round 7:
Sanderson leaps around the wounded Dutch model and peppers her midsection but the desire to damage her face is too strong and she quickly moves up the target, tries to break through to the swollen eye only to get caught with a low gutwrencher and Sylvie digs into her last resorts and finds some success, pummelling the redhead's guts and landing a huge uppercut to the jaw in between! Van der Vaart fights with only one eye, the left one completely shut as Nikki grazed her with a wayward swing but she almost headbutts Sanderson with a burst of speed and the redhead loses her footing, misses an uppercut herself and get laced in the nose with a huge overhand that results in massive blood spill from squashed nostrils. Ugly scenes in the ring as Sylvie breaks through the mitts again, snaps Nikki's head back with a series of straight jabs and the Kats girl winces in pain but refuses to go down! Low shot from Sylvie catches her foe's crotch! Dirty foulling but the ref jumps in and sends the bleeding Nikki to her corner. Blood now smeared across her face as the blonde shakes her head and leans on the ropes during the brief interval waiting for the fight to resume. Doctors check on the wounded redhead and after a lenghty delay the ref heads towards the Foxfire corner which suddenly errupts with joy! Everyone's shocked but apparently Nikki Sanderson suffered a small nasal fracture and the win is awarded to the Pride of the Netherlands! TKO R7 Sylvie van der Vaart!!!

Post-fight:
Nikki bursts into spasms and it's a messy sight in the Kats corner as they know what's coming next. Despite her eye hardly looking any better than Nikki's nose, Sylvie has her gloves removed and heads straight to the opposite corner. Here comes the humiliation no doubt, in wake of some huge controversy during the fight extra in-the-face rubbing on the Kats' expense. Sylvie flashes a grim smile but coach Gail Kim has other ideas! She leaps over the ropes, shoves the sobbing Nikki away and swings an old fashioned bare knuckle fist at the surprised blonde model! Sylvie gets caught on the nose and is rooted on the spot! Left fist on the mouth and Sylvie is out of here as she slides down on her knees and crashes face-first onto the canvas!!! Lights out, pretty blonde. Gail Kim receives standing ovation from the crowd but consoles her fighter soon afterwards and Nikki has truly lost it. Robbed of a certain KO in the sixth, she is helped off the ring on Gail's shoulder but the crowd is behind her yelling "Cheaters, cheaters!!!" as the moral winners disappear into the locker room.

One guy who disappeared even earlier was the referee and Georgie Thompson's efforts to gather post-fight interviews are futile as Gail took a swing at her as our brave reporter tried to approach her which made Georgie think better off it while the winner, and now riding a four fight successful streak, Sylvie van der Vaart was left motionless on the canvas and unable to execute her humiliation plans let alone share a word with Thompson. As she's being stretched off to the locker room, the crowd anticipates the bantamweight double-showdown already!
