BEFORE: It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Mary Elizabeth completely skips the press conference before the fight, she had complained about coming to Dunwich to fight a nobody beforehand. Joanne politely waits. When MEW does show up for the weigh-ins the reporters think they will be able to ask a few questions, but Winstead walks out after getting on the scales. Joanne does offer to talk, “Well I don’t think Mary is happy.”

Joanne’s togs are simple a solid white bikini top and navy blue boy cut shorts, white gloves and boots her curly brown hair hangs loose. Mary in bright yellow bikini; white gloves; long brown hair loose with bangs as she makes her way to the ring Mary sneers at the leering locals.

ROUND 1: Joanne offers a glove at the beginning of the fight, but Mary Elizabeth declines. Kelly sets up at range early her jab keeping MEW at bay to start the fight. Winstead pushes through though getting inside making Joanne work shoulder to shoulder with the younger brunette. Mary focuses on the ribs and arms of Kelly punching away inside and clutching at Joanne. Inside work is not Kelly’s style, but she adapts throwing short punches with as much as she can muster on them. Mary Elizabeth hooks Kelly’s arm and opens her up for bruising rights as Joanne tries pulling away. Last minute Joanne tries reestablishing the distance, but MEW will not have it, looking more like a wrestler wanting to lock up and then more work to the body. MEW’s style, MEW’s Round 10-9

ROUND 2: The words Mugging and Mauling are heard in the crowd a lot, as Mary Elizabeth swarms in and crowds Joanne from bell to bell. Joanne tries battling back with Winstead’s own style of short punches, but she can’t manage the force Mary is putting into her blows. Winstead never misses a chance to go to the rack too, over and over her mitts find Joanne’s bosom and bite deep. Joanne is able to keep the fight in the center of the ring, but she’s getting chewed up in the grinding battle. Mary Elizabeth 10-9

ROUND 3: The point blank attack continues Mary gets inside and doesn’t budge, fighters spending much of the round looking over one another’s shoulders. Joanne is not holding up to the pace and MEW is working the body raw, her gloves finding tummy and tits over and over. Joanne tries clinching to get a break and some distance, but Mary ties her right arm up and goes to work on the body again. Winstead pushing Kelly’s gloves out of the way takes huge shots at the brunette’s rack. Mary stays to the body pummeling Joanne, and now the IFFY fighter can’t stay off the ropes. Winstead stacks Kelly up and goes to work from waist line to tits Mary Elizabeth is heartless. At the bell Mary Elizabeth keeps her shutout going 10-9.

ROUND 4: Joanne looks shaken by the early onslaught of Winstead’s mugging style, Mary wades in looking to bang more body. Mary Elizabeth damn near tackles Kelly, putting a shoulder into the IFFY fighter and driving her back to the ropes while pounding Joanne’s non-existent love handle area with right hands. MEW stacks the other brunette against the ropes and works the abs without mercy. Joanne counter punches have little behind them and Mary sets up to take rack! Joanne’s bra is being blistered by Winstead, the I.F.F.I. corner screams foul when Mary Elizabeth clearly sends a trio of forearms into Kelly’s hapless juggs. The referee though doesn’t step in. Joanne is taking a hellaious beating. The referee looks like he might have seen enough when the bell sounds, either saving Kelly or dooming her to another round of beating. The cards come back a surprising 10-8 without a knock down. MEW yells to the crowd, “She’s not getting off the stool! Mark my words!”

ROUND 5: Mary Elizabeth is no Nostradamus, Kelly does get off the stool, and for the first time in the fight her jab begins to find the bully. Joanne stops Winstead’s charge with the right jab, and backs away when she gets too close. Mary still tries to go toe to toe, but now Joanne isn’t allowing it. The first minute is just keeping MEW at bay, the remainder of the round is Joanne finding range and drilling Mary Elizabeth from outside. The new tempo is leaving Winstead frustrated and bruised as the boxer is now controlling things. Joanne backs off when Mary touches her up, but Winstead walks into a flurry of jabs when she tries pursuing. After four rounds of nearly being blown out Joanne is competitive and takes her first round 10-9.

ROUND 6: The Joanne Kelly the Dunwich Fans have come to know has returned, the jab keeps Mary at bay and stuns the younger brunette several times. Kelly snaps out the right and follows up with the left, MEW wants back inside but she has to settle for trying to match Joanne’s boxing skills. Joanne’s glove bounces off Winstead’s skull repeatedly, the frustration Mary Elizabeth was feeling is turning to wooziness as Kelly is force feeding her leather now. Kelly keeps working the jab and moving the feet as Winstead starts to plod a bit not as eager to come into the brunette’s wheelhouse. The round is a clear win for Kelly 10-9.

ROUND 7: Mary Elizabeth reforms the game plan and comes barreling in again, but this time Joanne has an answer for the rugged style. Winstead gets inside, going for rack again, but Kelly pushes her off and makes MEW work to get back inside. The process repeats several times Mary stubbornly coming inside to get minimal work done and Kelly shoving her off stinging the brunette. Later part of the round Joanne is really controlling things, she got Mary back pedaling. Joanne backs MEW down on to the ropes and lets it fly trying for a knock down or knock out, but Winstead holds steady. Round is clearly Joanne’s 10-9 Mary Elizabeth looking frayed around the edges.

ROUND 8: The first time Mary Elizabeth is not in a rush to come meet Joanne. The IFFY fighter is now putting more pop into her punches and working up and down Winstead’s body. Joanne is now moving in, she wants pay back! Using a bit of Mary’s tactics Joanne works the body and tits and laces a right to the jaw that sends MEW reeling. Joanne is going for it now shoving and pushing Mary around the ring and hammering home the gloves. Roles have clearly reversed from the early rounds, now Mary Elizabeth is barely getting anything in and Joanne is ripping away with gusto. Mary fighting off the ropes manages a burst, but Joanne quickly shuts that down and tests MEW’s stomach muscles with blistering barrage. Mary does just enough to keep the round another 10-9 for Kelly.

ROUND 9: It’s nearly impossible to believe that Joanne has taken total control of this fight after what happened in the first four rounds. Kelly starts with the jab again and is soon unloading on a battered Mary Elizabeth. Joanne ducks wild swings and bunches Mary with a shot to the love handle area. Joanne trying to put Mary down, Winstead’s legs wobbly. Big right hand Mary staggers and falls back into the ropes to help stay upright, Joanne pours in working the bra trying to stop Mary Elizabeth here and now. Mary soaking up the damage fights back best she can just too keep the referee from stepping in. Joanne now leads 5-4 in rounds taking her fifth 10-9 in a row.

ROUND 10: Joanne looks to close out the fight, but Mary Elizabeth sells out to get inside and finds a hole that hasn’t been there in a while. Mary grabs on to Joanne to keep from being shoved off again. As the two dance around in a hug the referee steps into break the pair and Joanne cries out in pain, the crowd boos loudly, but the one person that matters missed the low blow from Winstead. Kelly steps back from the break one of her gloves going down to rub her shorts. The I.F.F.I. corner is livid, but nothing can be done down as Mary Elizabeth comes on forcing Joanne into a retreat. The jab finally stops Mary and backs her off, but Joanne is now trading blows and the round ends with exhausted pair still throwing leather at the bell. Round comes back 10-9 Winstead making it five rounds a piece.

AFTER: Fans boo thinking the fight should be heading to overtime, as with the Silk and Mendes fight. Joanne looks a little fresher, Mary clearly on her last leg as the score cards come back a 1-pont win for Winstead. The missed low blow and the 10-8 round without a knock down have the fans of the I.F.F.I. feeling a bit sour after a very good night for the stable at their own show. Joanne shows class turning to offer a hand to Mary Elizabeth, it’s not overly friendly but Winstead takes the IFFY fighter hand. Mary doesn’t stay long as she leaves Dunwich with the big ‘W’ .
