(LIONESS CLUB VS KEAR'S KATS)

Zoe Salmon will try to stop the Lioness Club's downfall on the first day of the One Year Anniversary event and there's every chance she can score a much needed victory for the hosts as she takes on winless Rosie Huntington-Whitely (Kear's Kats). The lingerie model endured a very rough start to her BBU career but quite frankly she's been paired against incredibly strong opposition and Salmon is undoubtfully the lowest-ranked rival she's had to deal with.

Kats head trainer Gail Kim is confident of Rosie's maiden victory at the expense of the Ulster blonde but the KO Club crowd thinks otherwise as they hope for a Lioness win after two bad losses for Pilar Rubio and Keisha Buchanan. Rosie has refused to answer any questions before the fight: "They will ask about my record, so why bother?" and Lioness coach Gina Wild has requested Kate Garraway doing likewise with Salmon: "Girl needs to focus. Those winless opponents are sometimes more dangerous than any others!". The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Zoe Salmon wearing a red bikini with black stripes and black gloves. Long blonde hair loose. Rosie Huntington-Whitely wearing a white one-piece swimsuit with silver stripes and black gloves. Dark blonde hair tied in a long ponytail.

Round 1:
Ulster blonde wastes little time from the bell, she jabs straight at the model's midsection and finds success. Whitely is somewhat clumsy looking which led to most of her losses and Salmon exposes this area well; repeated quick series to the guts force Rosie on the back foot early and Zoe keeps the workrate all through the opening round. If Rosie expected a slow start from a lower-ranked opponent, she got it wrong and Salmon gives her a proper handful of a contest. Rosie's not quick enough to avoid most of the shots and misses her response, allows the fellow blonde to land almost unanswered blows to the chest and the crowd starts to believe the second win of the night is really close. Too early too call this one though as Zoe struggles to maintain the accuracy in the final minute, however Huntington looks sluggish, hasn't kicked into gear yet and just circles away from danger as Salmon throws some harmless shots before the bell. She's done enough to secure the round earlier, but one feels it's not the boxing of the highest order in this bout.

Round 2:
Kats corner keeps their calm and Rosie shows some positive signs, steps up to the Ulster girl and whacks her in the temple with a wayward hook, as Zoe still got caught out. She's been vulnerable to a series of hits before and her punch-resistance is barely acceptable however Rosie doesn't follow up well, bangs few jabs to the ribs; crashes off the arms soon afterwards. Zoe meets the guard herself and both girls clinch in the middle of the ring as the ref shoves them away. Rosie with another single hook on the head. It hits the guard but there's a low jabbing follow-up and Salmon pays for a brief lull period as Rosie bangs couple of hooks to the head and forces her back. Huntington tries to trap her along the ropes but Zoe's quick enough to keep the distance and counter from the side with vicious jabs to the ribcage. Rosie drops her guard low, tames the onslaught and forces a clinch with the fight getting on the ugly side. Both girls push and shove each other with some single strikes to the ribs but it's Salmon with the final punch in this round as she whips the model on the temple and has her moaning quietly at the bell.

Round 3:
Coach Wild urges her girl to step it up and Zoe nods in approval. She storms out of her stool and literally walks into a huge right from Rosie who got some advice from her corner as well. Salmon's nailed on the mouth and her head snaps back, staggering her on the spot. Huntington with a series of jabs on the head and Zoe loses her balance, falls backwards and Rosie, despite all her agility issues, manages to catch her with a left hook on the temple. Salmon falls on the ropes, miraculously avoids going down in a heap but Whitely pounces on her with some low jabs and prevents from locking a clinch. Single strikes to the body, nothing too vicious but Zoe's a hittable girl as many of her rivals confirmed beforehand and Rosie makes no exception. One-way traffic along the ropes continues until Rosie needs to catch some breath; her punching power below par, allows the Ulster blonde to escape huge trouble and they clinch again, much to Salmon's relief. Rosie throws more low jabs to the ribs though and keeps the upperhand until the bell allthough coach Kim gets vocal during the interval as she saw a great chance of putting Salmon away go begging there.

Round 4:
Zoe comes out with fire, seemingly unaffected by that previous round but Rosie is up for the challenge and girls trade leather in the middle of the ring flyweight-style! Salmon grits her teeth, catches the model on the cheeks, but gets laced in the jugs herself and Rosie finds more success with her efforts, swinging around the gloves and smacking the blonde on the mouth. Zoe moans but keeps going forward, gets laced in the cheeks couple of more times as the taller rival makes use of her longer reach and it's perhaps a suicidal move from the Ulster presenter. Rosie keeps hammering straight-jabs while Zoe misses a left hook, wobbles forward and gets nailed on the nose! Whitely pounces on the briefly stunned rival again and this time there's no saving for Salmon. She gets rocked with a left on the mouth and a right on the chin; woeful defence on display... DOWN GOES SALMON flat on her back as Rosie shows no signs of emotion in wake of a potential maiden victory. Zoe shakes her head and gets up at six, indicates she's alright, but her face is bruised already as Huntington pierced through her guard far too often. Instead of backing away, she leaps after the lingerie model, but Rosie blocks that charge and reponds with some low jabs. Salmon wants to turn the tables on this one, but she can't enforce her aggression anymore and clinches just to survive the round. Rosie looks completely unmoved as she walks back to her stool, but the Lioness corner is very animated, that knockdown woke few people up!

Round 5:
Salmon keeps going after her rival, but Rosie changes her plan in the fifth. Instead of going forward, she plays the waiting game, almost hoping for the Ulster blonde to lose her temper and make another error. Zoe keeps firing away from mid-range, but struggles to connect as Huntington's superior reach makes the all important difference. Single-striking from distance maintains Zoe's subdued performance and she just can't find a way through here. Rosie snaps her head back with couple of hooks and sports a broad smile, fuelling the local girl's anger. Salmon ducks back and forth, grazes the model's flesh, but then gets laced with more hooks to the cheeks, her guard just unable to stay in tact and exposed time and time again. Whitely really begins to stamp her authority on the bout and comes forward in the final minute as Zoe's gets tired and drops her lively demeanour alltogether. Model bangs a series to the ribs, splits the mitts with a high combo and catches her in the nose with a left hook in the dying seconds. Zoe jumps back to the ropes, wipes sweat off her forehead and dances around in avoidance as Rosie stares at her with little symapthy. For a winless girl, she's holding her ground well and this puzzles the entire Lioness camp with Zoe shaking her head during the interval. But does she have enough weapons to trouble the model tonight?

Round 6:
Zoe's not as quick as she was before but keeps hassling the model, lands couple of shots to the ribs before Rosie swings a right hand, but misses only to follow up with the left and Salmon gets nailed on the cheek, wobbles again and covers up as Huntington cleans out her midsection and backs against the ropes. Zoe in trouble again, misses a couple of hooks, gets whacks between the arms and Rosie slams her in the jugs, gutwrenches with another low jab forcing a loud moan of pain from the Ulster girl. It doesn't get any better for her moments later as Huntington straight-jabs to the head, rocks her on her feet and splits the mitts before applying a fine put away on the nose. Salmon's guard torn to bits and SHE SLIDES DOWN ON HER KNEES with her eyes closed!!! Zoe just gets pummelled around here, her woeful defence costs her dearly yet again and allthough she beats the count at seven, she looks in serious trouble. Rosie sets her up with a left hook, now just banging Zoe's mitts against her face, another right around the gloves and straight on the cheek. Bruising on Salmon's face just gets worse and worse and Rosie meets no resistance. Another low jabbing sequence firmly pins the aching Ulster blonde against the ropes and Rosie cracks an uppercut to the chin which sinks her on the knees for good. Left hook on the mouth, right on the nose, another left on the temple and the REF CHARGES IN... he embraces the battered Salmon who was beginning to go away here, posted no resistance and just ate vicious leather ever since that second knockdown... TKO R6 Rosie Huntington-Whitely!!!

Post-fight:
Salmon is only semi-conscious and needs some assistance upon going back to her stool. Another nightmare showing from the local stable and the audience knows the first part of the Anniversary event will end in defeat no matter what Sophie Howard does against Peta Todd. Coach Gina Wild doesn't even bother to show her anger anymore as she orders the medical staff to escort the battered Ulster blonde to the locker room.

Meanwhile Rosie Huntington-Whitely talks to Kate Garraway: "Yeah, I was nervous before tonight's bout. I knew that maiden win is just around the corner and I'm a better fighter than Zoe all along. She had the crowd behind her but I managed to stop her anyway. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but the monkey is off my back, so I'll take anything from now on. I'm not a winless Rosie anymore and my career only starts from here!"

Final result: Rosie Huntington-Whitely def. Zoe Salmon TKO6
