This is a match of contrasting styles – the demure opera singer Katherine against the raunchy model Abi. And predicting the result is not easy!

Abi looks good tonight, wearing a white corset like top and matching knickers, while Katherine favours her red one piece outfit.

Round 1

The girls both start well, and the early action is at a frantic pace and they throw any amount of punches, but too many are ineffective, not reaching their target, and Katherine looks reather disinterested at this stage, while Abi seems on top of it! Abi is beginning to take over the fight as time goes by, and she lands a lovely combination to katherine’s head, sending her backwards towards the ropes. There’s little time left, but Jenkins is dazed, and she’s getting punished as she lays against the ropes – she’s taking too many head punches here, and she goes down! Katherine’s on her backside, taking a 7 count, and there’s the bell! And Abi’s smiling –that’s a big big start for her.

Round 2

After that frenzied start, the restart is rather disappointing, with neither girl really contributing too much action. Kath’s doing her best to get her rhythm together, but Abi disrupts her by clinching and holding at first. Certainly Jenkins is trying to recover from that early battering, but she still looks a little confused, and Abi starts to find her face again with some telling punches late in the round. Katherine is unable to land any decent revenge punches, so Abi easily gets the round without too much effort.

Round 3

This time Abi’s out fast again, and she’s outpunching Katherine at a crazy pace, and she’s gets the Welsh girl all in a tangle, throws a super right hook, and Jenkins’ chin’s been hit again by Abi, sending Kath down for the second time, this time for 6. Jenkins fights back well after that knockdown, and finally she shows something in this fight, getting her punches past Abi’s defensive gloves for the first time, starting to move the model backwards, but Abi takes control back by landing some good punches to Katherine’s face, sending her into the ropes as she comes out on top after a glorious exchange of punches in the latter part if the round, taking another one. Jenkins has already been down twice, but she does not seem shot yet.

Round 4

Abi launches another steady attack, and she’s belting the singer really heard again with her right hand, bruising up the left side of the girl’s face, but Jenkins manages to stay on her feet somehow this time. Abi’s never been the fittest bantam on the planet, and she’s slowing down, giving Jenkins a chance to get back into the fight. The singer is able to use her foot movement to outmanoevre Abi now, as she takes control of the round in the latter stages, and she lands some crisp jabs, knocking the model’s head back. At the bell, it’s still a round for Abi, but Katherine is closing on her.

Round 5

Both girls make a slow start to the round, and neither of them are throwing many punches here, just stalking and sparring, really, but now Abi starts to land that right hand, and Katherine’s trading punches with her again. This is no longer the best choice of tactics from the model, as Jenkins seems able to counter quite easily, and Abi’s really not moving too well now the round’s coming to an end. Katherine traps Abi at the ropes this time, and the Welsh girl’s punching her boobs with gusto. Abi’s shocked by this, flailing her arms in hopeless defence, and Jenkins is back on track – she has just won her first round.

Round 6

Just like the opening round, this one is being fought at a crazy pace now, with the girls really slamming some meaningful leather into each other’s faces, and Abi also switching downstairs to try to slow the fitter Jenkins down if she can, and this is working for her now. Abi hurts Katherine with three solid shots to the ribs, then gives her a good straight shot to the mouth, and her face shows the pain as Abi’s again emerging as the harder puncher. The girls are visibly tired after such a feverish exchange, and Jenkins must be a little frustrated that she couldn’t follow up the expectations given by the previous round.

Round 7

The girls gave a lot in round 6, and they aren’t offering too much at the opening of this round. In fact, the pace is incredibly slow as both girls try to regroup and find their strategies again. Katherine’s trying to bob and dance, but she’s breathing hard, and her face must be so sore from the beating it’s taken so far, and Abi’s not a great technician, needing to fight at speed or counterpunch. All in all, this round is painful to watch, as not much happens, but the fans must understand that no pair of girls can fight at top pace every round.

Round 8

And Jenkins is back! She’s really putting Abi into trouble now, and ripping sharp and accurate punches into the model’s face with either hand, her gloves unerringly finding that static head of Titmuss, and she’s just giving the older girl a beating here – a beating that lasts around two minutes, and leaves Abi with a big lump over her right eye. Bravely, Titmuss fights back from the battering, and she’s able to get some of her power punches into Jenkins’ body, and she’s hurting her as well, the Welsh girl doing her best to cover, but taking some heavy punishment, and at the bell, Jenkins closing down again!

Round 9

The girls are looking really tired again, and Katherine seems to have almost nothing left as she tries to keep out of Abi’s way. Now Jenkins is boxing a little better, and she’s moving in and out, albeit at reduced pace, making Titmuss look poor. Abi’s conserving her energy, not throwing a huge number of punches, but what she does throw seems to be landing, and her right hand is making the bruising to Katherine’s face look more and more painful. We’re into the last minute, and Jenkins is trying to mix it with Titmuss again, lands a few shots, but gets hurt again late, and a big right hand doesn’t seem to do any good to the Welsh girl. Even round.

Round 10

Two exhausted girls get off their stools for the final round, both looking battered, and they really don’t seem like they’ve got much left to offer. Katherine’s not dancing any more, and Abi’s doing lots of clinching, tugging and not much else at the moment, with the singer doing pretty much the same. We’re into the last minute of the fight, and Jenkins needs to show something, but instead Abi gets stuck into her, really giving her a leathering to the ribs and flanks as she pushes her into the ropes, then she’s punishing her to the face from close range, grinning all the time as she knows the victory is hers.

The result is now surprise as it comes back a good UD10 victory for Abi Titmuss.

That’s probably Abi’s best performance, but Katherine’s form is so up and down it’s hard to predict how she will fight at any time.
