(KEAR'S KATS VS BEEVER"S BABES)

After her victory against Katie Price, Lisa is confident that she can beat Girls Aloud’s Nicola, who has bandmate Sarah Harding in her corner, a girl who knows how to beat Lisa, because she did so, rather easily not long ago!

Here are the girls, with Nicola wearing a white bikini, and Lisa wearing her trademark black leather bikini, and the girls are scowling at one another.

Round 1

Strangely it’s a slow start to the fight, with the girls both seeming cagey, both letting loose a few jabs, but nothing more punishing, probably waiting for the other to make a mistake. The action picks up gradually throughout the round, and Nicola enjoys herself as she discovers that she can slips inside Lisa’s guard and catch the girl. Lisa’s never that great in retreat, and she bursts back at Nicola late in the round, when it becomes a slugfest. Nicola still looks more measured, more compact, and she hits Lisa hard in the final seconds with some neat boxing All in all, it’s an even round, but probably Nicole did something more.

Round 2

The action continues, and it’s still looking pretty close as the girls hit each other to the face, boxing well, not looking for heavy punches. But now Lisa ups the tempo, lands a few good punches to Nicola’s body and she’s hurt her, and starts to move her around the ring. As Nicola is forced to backpedal she looks less and less dangerous, and Lisa’s now beginning to dominate the redhead, letting her punches go, and they’re landing, hurting, and damaging Roberts, leaving her looking hurt at the bell. Round to Lisa.

Round 3

Now the girls are looser – they’ve stopped sparring, and they’re trading punches but more on the outside. Lisa’s looking good again now though, skips around the redhead, moves in to give her the old one-two, and Nicola catches Lisa in the mouth with a great left hand and sends her down. Lisa is livid, bounces up at 4, quickly reacts and tears back into Nicola, then floors her in turn! Roberts is on her feet again at 6, but this is hard fighting! Two knockdown’s in the same round, leave the crowd ecstatic. Lisa gives Nicola a few more good left handers when she pushes the redhead to the ropes and the brunette’s probably ahead on points in this round.

Round 4

Roberts is certainly not done, and she does a lot of work and puts pressure on Lisa right from the bell in this round, moving around her well, then thudding some good punches into her face. Lisa can’t get to Nicola just now, and she’s eating far too much leather, taking three shots to land one as the redhead uses good legspeed. Although Nic’s landing the volume of punches, Maffia’s more explosive and one of her right hand punches almost sends Nicola down again in the centre of the ring, the Liverpool lass having to cling on to stay on her feet. Lisa’s keen to get on with this, and she stuns Nic with a good right hand again near the end of the round, only to take a five shot battering just as the bell rings.

Round 5

This round starts more quietly, with Nicola more active than Lisa gain now, concentrating more on scoring points than knocking the older girl’s head off, but progressively the pace is getting more intense. Now the girls are swapping heavy punches again, with neither one wanting to stand back. Both of the girls move back and forth, now slowing the action again, and there’s a lull towards the end when they spend more time leaning on one another than punching, leading to another even round.

Round 6

After that rest, Lisa’s now taking the fight to Nicola, and she pummels the redhead hard to the body at first, then gets her backed into the ropes, where she just wants to weaken her, get her softened up, then perhaps go for the knockout. She punishes Nicola with a hard right hand to the jaw, almost sending her down, and she has the younger girl hanging on for dear life, pushes her back and gives her some more leather. Nicola defends herself well, but Lisa has a variety of punches, and when she catches Nic with a right uppercut late in the fight, it’s again almost enough to floor the girl, and the bell comes as a blessed relief for her – Nicola’s in trouble for sure!

Round 7

Roberts reacts well to that setback and she’s boxing beautifully, sliding and jabbing her way around Lisa in the opening seconds, frustrating the brunette, who’s trying to land a big bomb, then she finds Lisa standing still, and she rips in three right hooks to the body, another to the face, and a left to the body to really hurt Lisa, but she won’t go down. In fact, Lisa gets spurred on by this, and now she lands some of her best shots, not hurting Roberts, though, and this is another even round, with both girls now breathing hard.

Round 8

Roberts again comes out hard, and she’s fighting really well now, and beginning to dominate Maffia, who isn’t offering very much, being forced to defend at Nic ups her work rate, Sarah Harding cheering her on as she lands to Lisa’s face with good, accurate jabs, the punches making the former lightweight champion back away more and more. Lisa launches an attack at last, but she gets tagged by Nicola’s left hook, then takes a good shot to the belly, and Nicola takes her backwards again, but Lisa responds once more, the girls now engaging in close back and forth exchanges, until another hefty blow from Nicola has Lisa drifting backwards, and now she punishes Maffia in the latter stages, keeping her at the ropes, working her over inside, hurting her.

Round 9

Now this fight is all about Nicola Roberts! - Maffia’s really struggling to stay with her at this stage and she’s catching far too much leather. Nicola’s landing a lot of punches now, batters Lisa to her own corner, and puts her down again! This time, Lisa’s not up til 8, and she looks sad, her left eye closing now, and she’s soon trapped again, taking a horrid beating to the body as Nicola batters her, ripping punches into her flanks, the leather smacking into the girl’s flesh. Lisa somehow survives, clips Nic with a left hook to the jaw, and she’s finally punching back in the closing stages, but it’s too little too late, as that’s a big big round for Nicola, who has closed down Lisa here.

Round 10

Final round – and neither girl seems to want to start the punching. But Nicola comes in to try to rope Lisa again, then it’s Lisa’s time. Maffia punches well, gives Roberts some good blows to the ribcage, but gets caught herself in a few instances, and now she’s wobbling around, looking stunned. Nicola gives her a few choice punches around the boobs, not quite a jug-mugging, but it hurts, and Lisa looks unhappy with it. Roberts is finishing the fight on the attack, and she’s pinned Lisa in a neutral corner now, smacking her head around with left and right hooks, but Lisa’s fights out of the corner, gives Nic a hard shot in the mouth, then gets whacked with a right hook, and sits back against the ropes, but that’s the bell – it’ll go to the judges!

Both girls are sure they would win the fight.

Now there’'s pandemonium on the ring. The girls are going at each other, screaming obscenities, and they exchange a few punches, then have to be dragged apart – that was a very controversial and tough decision for the judges!
