BBU: LIONESS CLUB YEAR ONE ANNIVERSARY PART 2

(LIONESS CLUB VS BBU INDEPENDENT)

Just like her stablemate Charlotte Church, Lioness Club's Alex Curran has been offered a 'one-in-a-lifetime' opportunity to cross gloves with one of FCBA's living legends Catherine Bell. The blonde model couldn't refuse such a high-profile challenge but before that, she wants to settle an old score against Italian opposition. She was beaten by Manuela Arcuri back in February and now targets another dark-haired woman from the south to make amends for that humiliating loss, the independent Elisa Isoardi, rumoured to be Latin Union's sparring partner.

"I hate to lose, but I really hate to lose against brunettes most!", Alex scowls in pre-fight interview with Denise van Outen and looks more than ready to go and finish the second part of the Lioness One Year Anniversary card on a high-note. Isoardi fought only once in BBU thus far, losing to Miriam Leone in five, but she looks as delightful as anyone and surely boosted up the ticket sales with her presence. The Barnet crowd don't give her much chance to beat Curran though especially in wake of the latter's upcoming clash of the titans with Catherine Bell. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Alex Curran wearing a red bikini top, white panties and black gloves. Elisa Isoardi wearing a navy blue bikini top, white panties and red gloves.

Round 1:
Curran doesn't want to waste any time as she rips into the brunette with vicious low jabs straight off the bell. Elisa throws some hooks to the head but misses and is forced to protect her stomach as the blonde is clearly on a mission to destroy her as early as possible. Alex throws a flurry of punches to the head, clearly surprises her rival with the speedy execution. Isoardi's head snaps back under the onslaught and Alex gives her more leather soon, unloads a series of straight jabs, splits the brunette's mitts and pours in with a double cross on the nose! Elisa wobbles back, tries to step away, but is too slow and another straight right nails her on the mouth... ISOARDI LANDS HARD ON HER BACKSIDE INSIDE THE FIRST MINUTE!!! Quick knockdown gets everyone in the crowd on their feet as the blonde hops around her fallen rival and urges her to get up! Elisa looks as shocked as she's just seen a snow in July but beats the count at seven. However the leather-eating continues immediately after the command as Alex whacks her in the ribs with high-tempo jabbing, tries to split her mitts again but the Italian's arms stay together this time and Elisa is able to block most of those punches. She still gets pummelled back to the ropes though where the blonde pounds her from mid-range and keeps pinned for remainded of the round. Great opening round for the Merseyside girl who took full advantage of her opponent's hesitance and lack of skill.

Round 2:
Elisa ducks and weaves around the ropes, but she lacks speed to fully escape the danger and allthough Curran's hardly the fastest girl in BBU, she's able to close the Italian down and continue with the rough treatment, tagging the cumbersome brunette on a repeated basis. Alex truly looks for a quick finish here, goes around the gloves, nails her rival on the temple as Elisa tries to duck underneath but she's too slow and a big left hook rocks her on her feet upon landing on the ear. Isoardi wobbles back as Curran pierces her gloves with a series of straight jabs and nails her on the nose as the brunette groans loudly. No mercy from the blonde model though. she shatters her mitts with more hooks and slams across the mouth as a result. Elisa leans forward, doesn't raise her arms in time and another left/right combo snaps her head back... DOWN GOES ISOARDI FLAT ON HER BACK for the second time tonight! Her face already covered in bruises, she manages to beat the count at eight but looks way out of Curran's league here. She doesn't even try to jump back anymore in wake of another flurry of punches tagging her head on repeated basis. Alex nails her on the eye, finds couple of more uppercuts that split the mitts and land on the chin as Isoardi moans in pain of agony, basically knocked out of her senses on her feet... and the ref charges in!!! He's seen enough and stops this one-sided beatdown just in time to save the brunette from a vicious knockout... TKO R2 Alex Curran in monster fashion!!!

Post-fight:
This was a clash set up several weeks ago but it couldn't have gone better for the Merseyside model who just demolished Elisa Isoardi tonight. Perfect dress rehearsal before the Catherine Bell contest albeit the Italian brunette was completely outmatched and shouldn't be compared to someone like Bell in any category.

But the winning mindset is the most important thing as the joyful model explains to Denise van Outen: "This was a triple joy for myself, Denise. First a great win over an Italian slut, second, the best win of my entire career, regardless of what happened with Arcuri, I just battered her in the ring, totally punched the crap out of her and it feels great! Coach Gina Wild told me I'm not aggressive enough in the early rounds and I wanted to try that aggressive charge straight from the bell. I could have run out of steam later so I knew I had to finish her off quick but that took me quicker than I ever expected! And of course, Cat Bell is next. I just can't wait for that one. The KO Club will be packed to the limits and I'm gonna do my best against the legend herself. Several FCBA girls have come to England but Bell is the best of 'em all. I feel honored to be the one who fights her and I don't think I'm gonna do worse than Elisa tonight! Wish me luck!"

The second of three events for the Lioness Club One Year Anniversary ends with the hosts winning three of five bouts on the night but overall the BBU and ACB guest stars still lead the Barnet based stable six to four!

Final result: Alex Curran def. Elisa Isoardi TKO2.
