BEFORE:

"I thank Pink for agreeing to this rematch," says a stone faced Elodie. "But, she has made a mistake. I'm not the Elodie Frege she fought the last time. I'm better. I'm tougher. And I'm going to prove it."

"Yeah, I was all done with singers," says Pink with a smile. "But, I return favors. Frege agreed to fight me back when I was struggling to find opponents. If she wants a rematch, I'm not going to turn her down. But, if she thinks the result is going to be different this time, well. I've got news."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and the sounds of 'De L'eau' ringing through the arena..."

McCarthy: "That doesn't sound ANYthing like Cee Lo Green..."

O'Dell: "Not CEE Lo, 'DE L'eau..."

McCarthy: "It doesn't sound like D'Lo Brown, either..."

O'Dell: "NOT..."

Tess: "Not worth it, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "The SINGER of said song is one Elodie Frege, who's climbing into the ring. She's helped off with the robe to reveal a purple bikini that matches the gloves..."

McCarthy: "So, FREGE sings the song? Where does D'Lo come in?"

O'Dell: "Aaaaannnndd, that's 'Trouble' you hear, and we all know the singer of that song, 'The Queen Of Front Street', Pink!"

McCarthy: "I'd rather be queen of a waste water treatment plant..."

O'Dell: "Pink into the ring. Helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that black bikini with the white skulls on it. Ladies just about ready to go. Tess already on record as favoring Pink. Can we get a pick, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Well, as you know, I think Pink is heavily overrated, like most of the Dancing Hookers. But Frege hasn't shown anything, so I have to favor Pink."

O'Dell: "All right. Our two ladies in agreement. Let's see if they're right. There's the bell for round one. Pink wasting no time going after Elodie. Rocks her with a solid right hand. Frege trying to jab and circle, but Pink crowding her, getting past her glove, going to work with some heavy leather..."

McCarthy: "Pink remembering that this thing went into the tenth last time. Wants an early night."

O'Dell: "And she might GET it! Frege staggered with a right hook. Elodie backed into the ropes and Pink letting the hands go! Frege hurt again, that time with a left! She's staggered along the ropes, covering up...GOOD RIGHT HAND and Frege reels to her right. Referee looking in..."

McCarthy: "Frege in deep trouble! One more clean shot might do it!"

O'Dell: "Elodie covering up, slipping punches, grabbing and holding, using all the guile in her bag of tricks to run some clock. Pink patient. Looking for that big shot. Content to go body now."

McCarthy: "Watched the video of the first fight, and one thing that one showed about Frege is that she's plenty game. And she's showing that again tonight..."

O'Dell: "BIG left-right Pink! Elodie staggered again! Referee looking as Pink gets off some more heavy leather...BELL! End of the first. HUGE round for Pink..."

McCarthy: "May have been a 10-8 without the knockdown. Frege survived, but Pink did plenty of damage."

Tess: "Going to be conservative and go 10-9, but, no doubt, Pink's round wide."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Round two underway and it starts just like round one! Pink right after Elodie and ROCKS her again! Pinkness dialed in right now! Frege again in retreat, backed into the ropes. Pink clearly looking to finish, pouring it on, nailing Elodie with another right hand. Frege again in trouble on the ropes..."

McCarthy: "Frege needs to find a way to get some space. She's landed a couple of clean counters this round because Pink's going all out for the KO, but she needs to do more than that..."

O'Dell: "Clearly, because Pink isn't backing off a step. She's laying in tons of leather, going upstairs then down. Frege hurt again with a left hook!"

McCarthy: "Referee might want to think about calling an end to this..."

O'Dell: "If Pink doesn't do it first! A THUNDERING combination snaps back Elodie's head! Frege covering up again as Pink bangs leather to her midsection. Elodie hanging on as the final seconds tick away. NASTY UPPERCUT, PINK at the bell!"

Tess: "Frege wobbly back to the corner. Referee going over there to check on her. Not sure if there's going to be a third round."

McCarthy: "That one may have been 10-8 without the knockdown, too. But, again, we have to assume 10-9, so it's 20-18 Pink through two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "We ARE going to have a third round. Frege coming out and Pink coming right at her again! The French beauty again staggered with a right hook! Pink backing her into the ropes again, going all in to take Elodie out of here..."

McCarthy: "Frege covering up, ducking, moving the head and shoulders, doing everything she can to blunt the assault..."

O'Dell: "And Pink continues to play the German army at Verdun, trying to shell the French girl into oblivion! Pinkness splits the gloves with a left, hooks the ribs with the right, bangs a left hook to the side of the head. Frege stumbles to her left as Pink goes back body."

McCarthy: "Give Frege credit for poise in the pocket here. Never seen her fight like this, but she's showing some ability to do it."

O'Dell: "Pink lands another one-two. Elodie lands a left hand counter and Pink responds to the body and there's the bell. Another big round Pinkness, and this is looking a lot like the first fight, at least on the cards."

Tess: "30-27 Pink...and it might be wider."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Despite the fact that there have been times in each of the first three rounds when it looked like we wouldn't get here, we're into the fourth. Pink again in pursuit, Frege now circling behind the left popping it in Pink's face, showing that movement and those angles she wants to use."

McCarthy: "This is Pink being gassed right here, Jenny. She's used a ton of energy trying to end this thing in the first three rounds. You can see she's slowed down. Not punching much, just pursuing and looking for a big shot."

O'Dell: "And Elodie is playing matador to Pink's bull right now, using the left hand as the cape."

Tess: "Frege scoring with that left hand quite a bit. Not able to put a lot together, but she's staying in motion, and she's landed as much in this round as she has in the first three combined."

O'Dell: "Final seconds tick away in the fourth and there's the bell. Elodie Frege on the board in this one."

Tess: "39-37 after four."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Round five underway and Pink pursuing once again. Working in close. Elodie backing into the ropes now, looking to work from the pocket..."

McCarthy: "Shades of Britney here. Of course Mac The Knife showed you how to handle a picket fighter the last time Brit and I got together..."

Tess: "That wasn't long before Britney and Wiz made peace, Front Street and Hour-Glass joined forces and Britney made her run all the way to regaining the titles. You MIGHT say, Jenny McCarthy is responsible for all of that..."

McCarthy: "WHAT? I am NOT...Shu...no! I'm not saying it!"

O'Dell: "Hmm. Perhaps Mac has gotten word of yet another little game our fans play along with HBO's Boxing At The Asylum...a pool on when Mac says 'the magic words' for the first time...and how MANY times she'll say them during the evening..."

McCarthy: "I'm not saying it AT ALL! People aren't going to get away with MOCKING me!"

O'Dell: "Back to the action IN the ring. Pink relentlessly assaulting the pocket. Clearly has her wind back. Elodie countering slick along the ropes. Good back and forth stuff here as Frege giving as good as she gets...AND SHE ROCKS PINK WITH A RIGHT HAND COUNTER!"

McCarthy: "PERFECT punch! Perfect! Frege put all she had into that one!"

O'Dell: "It didn't put Pink down, but it threw her onto the defensive. Frege now getting off with both hands. Elects to remain on the ropes. Pink covering up. Bangs back to the body. Seems to have shaken off the punch, but Elodie with a lightning combination scores again. Blocks a left, lands a right hand counter and sticks a hook home at the bell! Great round for Frege!"

McCarthy: "She MAY be back in this fight. If the judges scored the first two 10-9, we've got a 48-47 competitive fight here and not the short night it looked like we were going to have."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Round six underway and the pattern has been set. Elodie Frege, after one round of using her legs and jab has settled into the ropes and is fighting from the pocket, and I wouldn't be more surprised if you'd told me Prince Fielder had suddenly decided to start bunting for base hits instead of swinging for the fences..."

McCarthy: "Pink's the one swinging for the fences right now, Jenny. Clearly ticked after Frege caught her a good one last round and she's looking to put some leather on the French girl. Elodie super slick in the pocket though. Look at her moving the head and shoulders, picking off punches, deflecting, ducking, messing up Pink's timing..."

Tess: "And look at how she's countering, Mac! Taking advantage of every opening to score. Very slick. And very quick."

O'Dell: "Pink clearly frustrated now. Can't possibly have prepared for this..."

Tess: "She most certainly did not. I've seen some of her sparring sessions at Front Street. She worked with Scherzinger, concentrated on cutting off the ring, pursuing, getting inside. I'm betting she didn't spend a second working on a seige of the pocket."

O'Dell: "But, that's where she finds herself, and she also finding herself getting out-pointed in this round. Frege continuing to play defense and counter right to the bell. And, ladies..."

McCarthy: "It's 57-57 on our cards..."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Pink got a lot of advice over in that corner between rounds, ladies..."

McCarthy: "Too bad neither of those brainless wonders know anything about boxing..."

Tess: "One of them is in the Hall Of Fame and the other has around a hundred training wins...where as YOU have..."

McCarthy: "SHU...Be Q...Silen...NEVERMIND!"

O'Dell: "Close one. Just like this fight. And, as the seventh gets underway, Elodie back on the ropes. Pink going body right away, landing some heavy leather to Frege's ribs and lats. Elodie looking to counter, but Pink bobbing and weaving now, keeping the hands up, working the midsection, swarming effectively..."

McCarthy: "Pink's made an adjustment here and it's a good one. This is how Mac The Knife attacks the pocket. Steady, sound pressure. You can't get greedy and leave yourself open. Take what she gives you. Score your points. The opportunities for big shots will come. And don't MISS when they do!"

O'Dell: "Pink landing upstairs now. Ducks a right hook from Frege. Digs back body."

Tess: "Pink two and a half inches shorter than Elodie, and she's using a bit of a crouch here to make herself smaller and a more difficult target for those counters. Reminiscent of one Allison..."

McCarthy: "Don't..."

Tess: "'Mack The Knife'..."

McCarthy: "WALM...SH...ARRRGGGGHHHH!"

Tess: "Mack...who used it to knock out Jenny here in about 30 seconds..."

McCarthy: "It was in 'The Gauntlet'! She was FRESH! I'd been fighting for half a freaking HOUR!"

O'Dell: "Pink is not just Front Street's fighter. It's the color those ribs of Frege's are turning with this continued assault. Pink digging away and landing a NICE uppercut to the chin at the bell. Pinkness in total control in that round..."

McCarthy: "She's NOT in control of the fight, but we now have her in the lead 67-66."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Bell sounds to start round eight and Elodie again retreating back to the ropes and looking to work Britney-style. Pink more than willing to engage, again going body on the taller woman. They're right above us, Mac, and you can HEAR the smack of leather on Frege's skin!"

McCarthy: "Some nasty shots banging home there. Frege continues to surprise, though. She's taking them pretty well at the moment."

O'Dell: "Pink swarming the pocket now. Landing punches in bunches. Frege still able to pick off much of the stuff aimed upstairs, but the body shots are landing more frequently..."

McCarthy: "Elodie's still doing well defensively, but Pink is breaking the pocket down and Frege can't respond at all. She's being smothered."

O'Dell: "And Pink keeps turning up the heat. Kicking into yet another gear now. Digging at those ribs, then banging shots off Elodie's earmuff. Frege slips a right hook, Pink bangs a left to the midsection."

McCarthy: "Frege wrapping up around the head, trying to slow Pink down."

O'Dell: "But Pinkness punches free and lands two good shots to the head at the bell. Another shutout round for Pink."

Tess: "77-75 now on our cards. Frege has to have the last two...or come up with something big."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Ninth begins and Pink right back to work. Elodie again under seige along the ropes. Frege's defenses starting to break down now..."

Tess: "Pink's adjusted well to Elodie's surprise tactics, hasn't she, Mac?"

McCarthy: "No question. Took her a couple of rounds, and that's her CORNER'S fault, but she's been very effective these last few rounds..."

O'Dell: "Been getting better as we go since Frege evened things up in the sixth. And she's running on all cylinders now, banging away at the body with both hands, finding spots for hooks upstairs. Frege all defense. Can't get anything done. Tries a counter now and then, but Pink ducks, deflects, slips, then goes back to work."

McCarthy: "Frege needs to get busier here. Needs to look for a big shot, because she's going to need one."

O'Dell: "Elodie takes a hard combination to the head. Lands a counter left, but misses a right high and Pink goes right back downstairs digging for points to the bell."

Tess: "Three straight impressive rounds for Pink, and she's in command 87-84."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "Well, if nothing else, she's done it again. Elodie Frege has made it to the tenth against Pink and here we go. Pink again forward and Elodie backing to the ropes where she'll fight from the pocket. And Pink quickly letting the hands go! She's winging away now looking for the finisher! Elodie slick, ducking and dodging and countering. And the fans liking some fast, furious exchanges here, Mac!"

McCarthy: "Both girls want a knockout here, but only one of them NEEDS one."

O'Dell: "Pink lands a hard left hook. Elodie counters with a right hand. Pink rips a right to the body and misses with a left...DOWN GOES PINK!"

McCarthy: "Right hand counter with all Frege has behind it! Pink's not hurt. Flash knockdown. Right back up just as the ref was starting to count. She's fine, but the force of the blonde and the fact that she was off balance sent her to her knees."

Tess: "And she is more than a little TICKED. POUNDED the mat in frustration before getting to her feet."

O'Dell: "Pink takes the mandatory and we'll continue. Elodie backed up to the ropes again. Looking for the big shot to end it. Pink going body, working back to the top, then back downstairs. Frege a left, misses with a right. Pink a hook to the midsection, and there's the bell!"

Tess: "And there's the HUG Mac likes so much."

McCarthy(mumbling): "...boxing not some 60s 'Love In'..."

O'Dell: "And, we're getting the decision now...and it turns out to be pretty close, ladies. With that knockdown in the last round, the judges have it 95-94 in favor of your winner by UD10, Pink!"

McCarthy: "No question Pink deserves the win, but the story here is Frege. Her best performance as a pro, I think. She showed me something tonight, no question."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Pink, and, Pinkness, was this tougher than you thought?"

Pink: "One thing about Pinkness is, I tell it like it is. And, I'll be honest with you, I underestimated this girl. I was expecting the Elodie I fought the first time. But she's better now. And tougher. I got sloppy and greedy and she took advantage. I'ma raise my glass to the girl. She's got guts and talent. Not as much as Pinkness has, but she's got 'em."

Tess: "What's next for you now that you're done with the singers?"

Pink(laughing): "Hell, I don't worry about that, Tess. That's what I've got a manager for!"
