BEFORE:

"This is a big opportunity for me," says Adriana with a devastating smile. "I need to show that beating girls like Brook and Lively was no fluke. I can do that by beating Gemma tonight."

"She's dangerous, no question," says Gemma. "She's athletic and has some quality wins. I'm not taking her lightly at all. But I AM going to beat her."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and I can't get that whistling out of my head..."

Tess: "'The Colonel Bogey March' is quite the earworm..."

McCarthy(chuckling): "Oh, SURE, let HER get away with leaving a line about whistling in her head hanging out there!"

O'Dell(laughing): "Glad to see you've got your sense of humor back, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Hey, at least they had a decent movie cued up this time! 'Bridge On The River Kwai' is my second favorite movie about the Japanese. Right after 'Godzilla vs. Megalon.'"

Tess: "I'm partial to 'Destroy All Planets' myself. Always liked Gamera better than Godzilla. Of course, both films contain the anti-nuclear, anti-war subtexts found in most Japanese monster movies of the time, films made for a country still dealing with the aftermath of the Second World War and feeling a profound sense of vulnerability in the new nuclear, Cold War world..."

McCarthy: "What ARE you BABBLING about, Walmart?"

O'Dell: "And, before we start discussing themes explored in Proust's 'In Search Of Lost Time', that's 'Night Call' by Kavinsky you hear, and that's the lovely Adriana Lima of Odds and Ends Fight Studio on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "Lima's right about this being a big opportunity. She's had some success recently. She's hot. She's got management that wants to push her. A win tonight would be a big help."

O'Dell: "Lima helped off with the robe by the O&E corner people, revealing a canary yellow number that the crowd appreciates. And that's The Clash and 'London Calling' you hear, and here comes 'The Gravesend Gladiator', Gemma Arterton. Arterton into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal a black bikini. Switching it up a bit tonight, Mac..."

McCarthy: "I don't understand why Weirdo's girls don't do this more often. As all MY fans know, I have a large collection of bikinis and I like to vary them depending on my mood and opponent. The Dancing Hookers don't do that enough..."

Tess: "Well, not everyone has a body that looks great in ANY bikini, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Good point, Walmart! Good point."

O'Dell: "Getting ready to get started, and Tess already on record as favoring Arterton. What's your take, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Walmart keeps hanging around with me, and she's learning. She's got this one analyzed perfectly. No question Arterton's the favorite, but Lima's dangerous."

O'Dell: "There's the bell for the first. Gemma working behind that Front Street Jab..."

McCarthy: "Oh, for..."

O'Dell: "Lima winging right back at her with some wild, off target stuff..."

McCarthy: "Gemma stronger and heavier than Adriana. Lima wants to get some respect here. Needs to settle down, though. She landing a couple of those, but not many, and Arterton is making her pay for the misses."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she is. Gemma systematic. Working the left up high, hooking body with the right, then coming upstairs again. Backing Lima up, suppressing her fire."

McCarthy: "Adriana being thrown onto the defensive now. Gemma getting in rhythm. This is not what Lima wants. Needs to show more movement. Find spots where she can let the hands go."

O'Dell: "Not happening at the moment. Arterton finding the range with both hands. Piling up points to the bell. Good first round for Gemma."

Tess: "Certainly was. Arterton's round 10-9"

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "There's the bell for the second and Gemma right back to work. Forcing Adriana back with steady fire. Finding openings with both hands. And Lima again winging back wild, not finding anything with all that leather!"

McCarthy: "Getting frustrated right now. Gemma's controlling her, and Adriana's not liking it a bit."

O'Dell: "Gemma very controlled. Not forcing anything. Taking what Lima gives her. Setting up her punches..."

McCarthy: "And that's what Lima ISN'T doing. She's just swinging away..."

O'Dell: "AND SHE LANDS A HAYMAKER! DOWN GOES GEMMA! A RIGHT HAND THAT CAME FROM TRENTON SENDS ARTERTON TO THE CANVAS!"

McCarthy: "I'm not sure who's more surprised, Gemma or Adriana!"

O'Dell: "Lima to a neutral corner. Referee's count at four. Five. Gemma up to her hands and knees at six. Seven. Eight...she's up at nine and...THE REFEREE WAIVES IT OFF! ARTERTON BARELY ABLE TO KEEP HER FEET AND HE'S STOPPING IT! THE WINNER BY TKO2 IS ADRIANA LIMA!"

Tess: "You SAID she was dangerous, Mac..."

McCarthy: "YOU said it first, Walmart..."

O'Dell: "And I'm not sure what's the bigger upset, what happened in the ring or the fact that a mutual admiration society has broken out on either side of me."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "Adriana, big win for you..."

Adriana: "Huge, Tess! Huge! I knew I could beat her! I told everyone I was for real. But no one gives me any credit because I'm a model. It's the way it is in the FCBA media. They've always looked down on us. Even now with girls like Swanepoel and Upton and Decker making their marks. Well, add another name to that list! Mine! Adriana Lima is for REAL!"
