With the renewed speculation about Mis-teeq reforming, it is opportune that Su has decided to join Alesha Dixon and Sabrina Washington in celeb boxing. But she has a tough debut tonight against the Dutch model Doutzen – what do you think, Hayley McQueen?

You could be right, Charlotte! Anyway, the girls are already in the ring, and Doutzen has gone for an orange bikini and boots tonight, with white gloves, and Su an all black outfit, including a smooth looking one piece.

Round 1

And these two girls are going for it from the start – neither looking for any favours from the other, or getting it! Doutzen lands a good shot to Su’s face, popping her head backwards with that, and she’s trying to dominate the singer early on, pushing her around the ring. It’s a good tactic, but Su’s firing back, the singer a slim athletic fighter, and she gets through the model’s guard there, landing with either hand, and that’s made Kroes think. In comes Nash, and she gets tagged by the model, really tagged with a right cross, and that’s got her holding on, her eyes are a little glazed, I think, and she’s getting a bit of a job done on her ribs by Kroes, and there’s the bell – good round for the Dutch girl.

Round 2

They’re back out, and I like the way Su’s taking the fight to Doutzen again, despite being hurt just now. She just landed a good left hand on the model’s mouth, and she’s got the girl backing away – Kroes isn’t happy, and she’s almost on the ropes now, with Nash giving her a couple of good punches. You have to stay alert though, Su! Doutzen just hit her back hard with that right hand, and Nash’s knees wobbled a bit – Kroes is getting on top of her again, but no! That’s a great little left uppie from Su, and she’s got the model having to hold her pretty tight now, just about has the strength to push her back, and – yeah – good left hand from Su there, right in the breadbasket – ahh, bell! Never mind!

Round 3

Su’s looking pretty damned sure of herself now, and she’s giving Doutzen some more licks around the cheeks, nothing to actually stun her, but enough to mark her up a bit, and Kroes is in retreat just now – you’re in the corner, honey, nowhere else to go! That’s a good shot from Su, really turned Doutzen’s head with that left hook – but the model’s coming back at her again! Kroes has blood in her mouth, and she’s reacting by giving Nash a leathering to the body! Aww, I think Su’s hurt! She’s definitely going backwards there as Kroes gives her a real battering, and this fight’s been going back and forth so far, but now the Dutch girl’s right on top, and she’s pushing Nash backwards, and this time she’s landing the uppercut – and that’s pretty much put Su down! She’s propped up against the ropes here, but the round’s over! Lucky girl, Su-Elise! That could have been goodnight!

Round 4

Doutzen’s the one looking confident now, and she’s moving after Su, and she caught her there to the ribs again – I’m not sure Su’s worked hard enough on her bod for this! She got hurt again there, and the gloves are dropping – Nash looks untidy, and Kroes works her to the body again, and that’s a great left hook – too much for Su to take for sure, and she’s down! Doutzen did her there with a left to the ribs, and the singer went straight down! Nash has got up, but she’s isn’t looking comfortable, and that won’t help! Kroes fired another hook into the ribs, and here’s an uppercut – oooh, just blocked in time! The model’s going for this, and Su needs the bell really bad –she’s clinching tight, and there is the bell, but I think Nash is shot, to be honest!

Round 5

Su looks hesitant now, and she’s right to be, with Doutzen cracking another big left into her body, and now the model’s pushing her about, using her better conditioning to good effect, and she hurts her with a right cross to the mouth – that’s a good punch! Nash is staggering, and she gets hit again, this time with Doutzen’s right, and she’s down. Su’s doing her best, but she’s not beating the count I’'m afraid! It'’s all over for the singer on her debut!

Doutzen Kroes knocked Su Elise Nash out in round 5.

That was a nice, clinical performance from the impressive puncher Doutzen. I thought this was a big ask for Su on her debut, and I was right!
