Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) versus Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries)
(Results by Sim and words by Lookout!)

Before: Regardless of the outcome of the previous match, the real fight for CW hegemony might be right here in the main event between Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and the Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev. Not only are the stars of the two biggest shows on the network, but they are also hotly competitive brunettes and stablemates at Lookout! Boxing. Candice Accola has been publicly dismissive of the main event, but declares herself above it all as CW hegemon. Regardless, It's a CW super-fight for the main event given Leighton's movie cred and Nina's covergirl status. The hype machine at the CW definitely put a lot of work into this one – putting competing sizzle reels together to demonstrate their tuffest, snarkiest and most attitude-filled moments from their respective shows, in a montage that has the crowd roaring. Nina and Leighton are both raring to go by the time they're done – eager to prove supremacy on the network.

R1: Nina comes out jabbing and bobbing with her leggy assault, just popping out that jab coming out from the bob as she goes to work on Leighton's body – chopping away with rights and lefts. Showing off why she is called the “Bulgarian Bully” as she does indeed shove Leighton back to the ropes, crowding and pinning her against the ropes as she relentlessly pounds away at Meester's ribcage. Meester showing her spirit though, just continuing to push back and hold her ground with steady counter-shots that rock Nina and allow her to twist away from the ropes. Nina continuing to batter at Leighton with rangy right and left jabs – but Leighton pivoting nicely to avoid the majority of the assault. Leaning forward to deliver repeated combos to Dobrev's face, sending her stumbling backwards towards the ropes as Leighton looks to dictate the terms of their engagement. Leighton has Nina backpedaling under her power at the end of the first, hitting her with leggy jabs and compact hooks, to take round one.

R2: It's just the way Meester wants it as she comes out to keep Dobrev on the defensive from the opening bell and throughout the round. Dobrev pressed backwards to the ropes under the whacking right and left hands from Leighton – just delivering powerful jabs to her tummy and ribcage, which is turning pink from the pressure from Meester. Nina tries to clinch or push off of the ropes, but it's all Meester this round. Meester digging in with uppercuts into Dobrev's tummy – busting her up along the middle – then shoving her back up against the ropes as Leighton lashes her along her tummy again. A stiff right cross across her cheek has Dobrev wobbly-butt, clutching her ribs as Meester delivers a shutout from bell to bell.

R3: Nina calms down after that, firming up behind her jab. Keeping her guard up high, elbows up as she keeps up with a right jab that angles up high, landing over Meester's guard to repeatedly pepper her about her temples – forcing Meester to go earmuff at times. Bobbing away out of distance when Meester counterattacks, then getting back behind the jab as she fires off with her left hand, then pings away at Meester's defenses. Nina continuing to pivot, showing off good footwork, poking at Leighton's guard and just touching her up about the head, shoulders, arms and face. Meester does get to the torso, but far more rarely than she'd prefer. Dobrev gets back into the match with some clever boxing as that right hand has Meester wary and unable to get off and back into the rhythm of the prior round. Dobrev nearly lands a shutout, but Meester fights back in spurts to avoid it. Meester's eyes flickering in quiet fury as Dobrev wins the round on points – Dobrev flashing her a smile after landing one last right jab at the bell to send Meester stumbling.

R4: Nina comes out once again – spitting out that jab – but Meester isn't in the mood. Leighton bobs away from the jab, then lashes away towards her rival's ribs. Leighton hammers away briefly at brunette midsection before suddenly unleashing a straight right to Nina's startled face, with a tidy left uppercut following up to sit Nina down with a crash. Nina looks up, dazed, shaking her head back and forth. Meester bellowing down at her, the ref forced to hold Meester back as Nina shouts down, “GET UP, B*TCH!! I DARE YOU TO GET UP!!”. Nina does, but Meester is on top of her from the moment her sturdy legs allow her to rise. Dobrev is hammered, just ragdolled to the ropes as she covers up, butt-in-ropes with Leighton spanking her torso, shoulder and arms. Then, when her guard drops, Meester goes jug – just trying to humble her rack with a series of right and left jabs that has Dobrev seething, but unable to prevent it. Woozy and dazed, she does manage to get off some offense when she can – strafing shots to Meester's tummy and abs as she staggers along the ropes, but this round was Meester's early and she never looked back. Leighton displaying some real dominance as she is positively beaming, confident as she crows back to her corner, showing no pity to her CW rival.

R5: Dobrev is clearly banged up and Meester comes stomping in, just trying to feed Dobrev's jugs/torso further punishment. Nina is plucky this round though – getting back to basics as she shows off her defense and footwork while recovering from that brutal beating she was on the receiving end of last round. Dobrev proving elusive, avoiding those right hooks that are licking out towards her torso and body, then firing out with that strong right hand. Leighton still connecting and sending out speedy hooks and jackhammering in little jabs to her opponent's tummy, but it's Nina getting off all round with that jab-and-pivot that keeps delivering that right hand that touches Meester up around the temples and clips her along the cheek to award the round to Dobrev. Dobrev still banged up, but smiling as she heads back to her corner.

R6: Leighton rushes forward to clean up – charging out of her corner as she is eager to finish off her opponent. Nina still plucky, however, keeping her guard up and using good footwork to be evasive in the opening minute of the round. Leighton shoulder-bumps Dobrev out of position, bossing her backwards into the ropes as she tries to deliver a clouting haymaker or stiff cross towards Dobrev's face to put her opponent down. But, in the middle minute, Leighton runs into resistance and several stinging one-two jabs. That left jab opens up the right which hammers into Meester's ribs and body, just thudding away in workman-like jabs that keep slamming into her torso, making Leighton gasp in pain.

This leads to a mistake for Meester as she is spooked by the jab, crouching over to her right side to protect it, which allows Nina to extend with some rangy and devastating right crosses. Meester's head swiveling – forcing her to go earmuff as she tries to cover up – but lashing away at her ribs drops her guard again and another right cross sends her nosediving to the canvas on all fours. Meester falling to all fours – butt upraised into the air as Dobrev positions herself behind Dobrev and plants her foot against Meester's rump, Nina shoving her opponent facefirst to the canvas as the ref comes in with a warning. Nina calling down loudly, taunting her opponent, “GET UP, B*TCH!! I DARE YOU TO GET UP! I DOUBLE DARE YOU!!” Leighton does – her pride and fit bod willing her to rise – but wishes she hadn't. That steady stream of Dobrev rights has left her dazed – stumbling towards the ropes as Dobrev piles on. Dobrev pouring in with swinging rights-and-lefts, just hammering away at Meester, whacking repeatedly to Meester's tummy and jugs. Meester's guard dropping, dropping in a tidy uppercut to Leighton's face and then Dobrev just sends her gloves whirling forwards towards Meester's rack. Leighton's jugs are punished for a minute by a raging Dobrev before the ref comes in. Nothing coming back from a bleating Meester as the ref awards the match to Nina Dobrev via KO6!!

After: Meester is positively heartbroken at the verdict as the ref is forced to pull Nina off. Leighton's eyes glisten with angry tears as Nina gazes into her eyes – showing no mercy as she suddenly reaches out for Leighton. Pushing her way in past the ref as she grips Leighton's ponytail, yanking on it hard as she loops in her other arm around Meester's tender tummy and leads her out for a Walk of Shame. Dobrev wanting to make a statement tonight about who is in charge of the CW and using Leighton as a prop heartlessly. Nina parades a furiously struggling Leighton over to the side where the ABC stars are sitting, showing off her prey to Emily VanCamp, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell and the like. “See what I just did?” Nina calls out with a smirk, giving Leighton's hair another yank that is rewarded by a squeal of anger and pain from Meester.

What Nina doesn't see however is Candice Accola coming up from behind as Candice can't take any more of this – her position of CW hegemony in danger of being usurped. Candice shoves Nina forward between the ropes as she's tangled up with Leighton and the two of them land with a thud on the floor. Neither are too dazed thankfully as they disengage from another as they look up in shock at Candice. As several CW stars emerge from the back and the ABC stars rise up from their seats, the Swan Lake tape is again utilized just in time as it seems another brawl is certain to occur.
