BEFORE: Polarizing fight for Hollywood's boxing elite - women like Pene Cruz, Elizabeth Olsen and Emma Stone openly in support of Lawrence, hoping Scarlett gets her come-uppance; women like Halle Berry, Jlo, and Catherine Zeta Jones coming out for Johansson - insisting that Lawrence needs to pay more dues. "All I know is she's a big girl, and this is a tough match up," Johansson smiles at podium. "I know there's resistance to Lawrence in some quarters - there's no shortage of jealousy in Hollywood - but it wasn't so long ago that those same names were calling for ME to be reined in as well. I'm not taking this fight to put a ceiling over Jenny: all I want to do is test my skills against a much bigger woman, and see if I can dominate size with ability."

Lawrence happy to snark away in the press against Halle and the rest, but she's generally cordial towards Scarlett. "Johansson's been where I am, so there IS mutual respect between us," Lawrence asserts. "I'm 'Big Girl' in this fight, and I will use that, but I'd like to think that I'm not just pure brute force like Scarlett thinks. I'm nuancing my game every time out, and if Johannson's not perfect - each and every minute of every round - I just might nuance her butt on out of there!"

Lawrence doing all the serious punching, but making glancing contact only as defensive Johansson plays it safe.

R2: Johansson committing more - angling her right side towards Jen, pivoting to stay hinged against Lawrence's left shoulder. Scarlett slap-dropping the right jab onto Jen's left jab, then lunging in - redhead punching her blonde swift straight-lefts to mouth, then cuddling up - taking care to tuck Jen's left arm under the Johansson right in the grasp. Out of this clinch, Scarlett collects follow on knocks - chippy little left hands pushed into jug or face while Scarlett buries her face save in Jen's left shoulder. Ref issues break - girls reorient midring - Scarlett baits her traps, turns Jen, jumps in to touch her, ties up to smother receipts. Lawrence unhurt, but getting some sense of the red-head's craft...shutout Johansson sends Jen to her corner frowning through 2.

R3: Scarlett doing her thing - working that southpaw-hinge on Jen's left shoulder; slapping jabs with Jen, then flicking the right jab to Jen's left tit - scoring at will; feinting, then diving in to land the left hand while tying up right-arm-over-Jen's-left inside - all while walking Jen counter-clockwise in the grasp. Down the stretch, Lawrence has had enough...with Scarlett glomming onto Jen's left and crowding-close - Lawrence hurls red-head ragdoll into ropes; drives a piledriving right-hand heart-punch in under Scarlett's left breast; hooks her an insurance left in rightside lats as gurgling Johansson drops to all fours! Thudding heart-punch has Scarlett weeping for breath - mouth wide open, eyes shut tight...snarling Lawrence stalks to neutral corner, glaring hungrily as Johansson beats the count near the bell.

Pene Cruz meantweet (translated from Spanish): "Now Lawrence will batter her!!!"

R4: Scarlett resolute - setting up southpaw angle and rotation again, but committing now to shooting left hands straight down into Jennifer's gut. Lawrence grunting, but taking the impacts - circling to get into position when Johansson changes tack, sells the body shot while bringing the left straight to chin instead: head-back Jenny Law and BLONDE GIRL HURT! Gambling chin-check puts Big Girl on her heels...Scarlett hopping-to, eyes narrowed - cutting a vicious palm-down right hook in across tummy; bending into another straight left into Jennifer's mouth. Lawrence completely ineffective backing up...Scarlett menacing up the middle, then shifting off-line to attack off blonde left shoulder, placing chopping left hands to left side of Jen's face. Blonde girl getting nailed upstairs and down, driven at the stagger before a VERY determined Johannson...Scarlett comes off the deck to hurt her girl, get respect, and retake the initiative through 4.

R5: Jennifer fighting very upright, weight on back (right) leg, flinching...Scarlett's got her spooked and over-thinking things. Johannson varying all her looks, constantly changing her levels to threaten Lawrence hip to head. Scarlett stabbing straight left hands to breasts or tummy; stepping in closer to poke left hands to left side of Jen's jaw; tying up around Jen's left arm at times - other times staying busy with cutting right hooks to body/hacking left hands up top. Lawrence with a perplexed, face-slapped expression - always a beat behind her clever foe, reacting late, without body-leverage behind receipts. Dying seconds, Scarlett caps a classy shutout with a jolting straight left to mouth - punching Jen's face back; quick reload and the follow up straight left, punching Lawrence flabbergasted into ropes at bell.

R6: Scarlett weaving her spell - darting in and out off Jen's left shoulder, taking care of blonde belly/breasts/chin in slick-mitted, southpaw fashion. Midway through, Scarlett dives in with the left, but Jen punches-with, burying a gruesome right to the pit of red-head belly as Johannson's left pushes past Jen's right ear. RED HEAD DOWN! Scarlett collapsing in gut-shot agony to hands and haunches, mouth open wide...she gets gingerly to her feet, taking 8 with a minute and a half left on the clock. Scarlett's eyes tell the story - shiny with hurt: Jen hops-to, punches a blunt right hand to Scarlett's upperchest, knocking her back into ropes; popping hips-right to lash the hook thick to waist...Johannson groaning as she sits in ropes, crossing her arms with back of left hand at mouth/right at left elbow. JENNIFER BOMBS AWAY! Lawrence squaring up, palming Scarlett's shoulders as necessary to stabilize her, then it's awful, Big-Girl shellack pounding onto poor Scarlett - Jen just bashing away lusty lefts and rights, curling her mitts back into her chest after landing large. Scarlett jolted to her tummy; numbed by thudding blows either flank; buffetted side to side via caroming blows off head/shoulders. It's all too much...glorious shove and slug reduces Scarlett to slack-jawed, glassy-eyed rubble...she's stooping forward in loose-limbed crossed arm when Jen settles into a murderous series of shoving, palm-down right hands delivered over and over to Johansson's battered left-side - Jen's left hand pushing at Scarlett's head to reset after every salvo and DOWN GOES SCARLETT! Johansson cringing, rolling to her back, hugging her gut, drawing her knees up, squeezing her eyes shut...she's a ball o' hurt and that's KO6 Jennifer Lawrence.

After: Lawrence hammering her way to glory, but not before Scarlett chiseled out some classy moments...blonde eventually congratulates beaten redhead in the aftermath, once Johannson's ribs are tensered up. "She fought like a little red-headed badger tonight!" Jennifer exclaims in postfight. "You can't press her easily because she's always side-slidin' around, looking to fetch you trouble with that left hand. I knew she couldn't take my punch, but I wasn't landing it...that had me discouraged early, but my guys just told me to be patient, that I was too good and too strong to get shutout indefinitely. I felt the fight changed when I put that good right hand in her belly...she wasn't the same after that, and I was able to get on her and clean her up!" As for Halle, Jlo, CZJ and other vocal critics, Jennifer's aspect hardens on-camera: "Look, I'm not goin' away. I'm hear to stay, I'm taking endorsements and movie roles away from the older generation, and they'll just have to make room and live with that. And if they can't, they all have Ginny's number!"
